Dodging Death, Spitting Blood: Seola's Berserker Triumph
The way to beat Kang Manbok, the mighty Barbarian, against a Berserker like me? It's laughably simple. Just get close and smack 'em once. That's it. Berserkers have to stay at low HP to trigger their passive, so even a basic auto-attack will insta-kill them without needing any skills. Berserker isn't some high-risk, high-reward class. It's high-risk, low-reward trash that desperately needs a balance patch—everyone agrees.
A full-HP Berserker isn't scary at all. Weak attack power, slow attack and movement speeds—they're just sitting ducks. And a low-HP Berserker? Not even that. Sure, the passive pumps up attack power and speed, but that "die in one hit" penalty is fatal. Against same-level opponents, even a squishy Mage with the lowest HP can tank two hits from a Berserker—without using any defense skills. Archer? Three hits. Rogue? Four. A beefy Warrior can sometimes eat up to seven. So, same level, same specs, same skill—there's no class that has a matchup advantage over Berserker in a 1v1. That's why everyone ditched it. You can only love your character so much.
But don't get it twisted—Korean nuance matters. "No advantage" doesn't mean disadvantaged. Pilot skill matters most in any class, but theoretically, Berserker can spike any class if you dodge perfectly and land your hits... in theory. The poster child? Infamous griefer Seola. More precisely, the only example. She proved Berserker could spike, and no one's properly used it since.
Kang Manbok, top Barbarian, knew Seola's terror better than anyone. He'd fantasized ripping her apart a thousand times. His plan to kill her was near-perfect... except he hadn't planned on eating a Holy Bomb right at the start.
HP halved by the bomb meant tweaks, but victory was still his. Kang Manbok started moving.
Whoosh! The Barbarian's massive battle axe swung in a brutal arc.
One hit from that monster, and I'd be bones. No weapon screams "grazing hit = crit" like it.
"Huff, huff, huuuh..." I dodged his axe with razor-thin movement, breathing ragged.
Definitely a vet player. Patterns are solid—straightforward, honest swings, but so precise they're a nightmare to dodge. Plus, unlike me (one hit = dead), he could tank a few hits and still pressure hard. No mercy, no turns given. Felt his iron will.
Spot on strategy for any Berserker. Perfect counter. But he overlooked two things: One, Holy Bomb left him under half HP. Two, it works great on Berserkers... but not on me.
Whiiish! Axe incoming, and he barked,
"You gonna run all day? Man up and fight, you fucking bitch!"
'Man up' and 'fucking bitch'? Pick a lane, grammar nazi. And nah, not just running.
I dodged, clamped my left hand over my mouth—
"Coughk."
Coughing Blood used.
A massive gush of blood erupts from the mouth.
HP reduced to 5%.
Berserker passive activated!
Attack speed and movement speed increase proportional to HP lost.
He should've freaked at the blood puke, but nah—thought I was pulling some trick and doubled down harder.
"Huff, huff, huuuh..."
Lodewor has status effect sync. Get debuffed in-game? Feel it IRL. Confusion? Dizzy for real. Freeze? Shivering cold. Mine right now: Anemia, dizziness, adrenaline overload, endorphin flood, arousal, climax. All from pure Berserker buffs—no enemy debuffs. Buff? More like debuff city. That's why people avoid it—puke in capsules ain't rare.
But me? I thrive in this shit. Gets me hyped.
"Heh-hek, heh-hek, heh-hek..." My ragged breaths turned embarrassingly lewd to some ears. Mic off, though—no one caught it.
Couldn't hide the face, though.
"Spitting blood too? What a fucking drama queen!"
His rage poured out raw. Excitement clouds judgment, creates openings—like now.
Tiny gap, but I seized it.
Splatter! Smeared the blood pool from my hand right in his face.
"Sh, shit...!"
Stab.
Stab, stab.
Stab.
Stab.
GG. Slower Barbarian lost turn? Done.
Kang Manbok has died!
"Huuuuh..." Conquest rush. Survival high. Endorphins/adrenaline tsunami—I forgot chat, shuddered in bliss.
