Please, Let's Play a Manner Game
The way to clear up this char maker cheating nonsense is simple. Just turn on the mic and say one word, and it's over. I've got this super high-pitched voice that's impossible to peg as male, even as a joke.
But turning on the mic? That's no easy feat for me. For starters, I'm not some smooth talker, and I have zero clue what to even say. Do I gotta lead with a straight-up "Sorry" the second I unmute? ...But.
What the hell did I do wrong?
Apologize for hiding my gender? I never hid shit. They just assumed on their own.
Apologize for griefing? Hell no, not even on the table. I'm gonna keep griefing happily for years to come.
Bottom line: I'm an innocent little angel who did jack shit wrong. You apologize when you've got something to be sorry for—faking remorse for nothing just kills your credibility.
Just a casual "Hey everyone, nice to meet you, let's have fun" should suffice as an explanation, right?
Yeah. Say exactly that and mute again.
With my hands shaking like leaves, I activate the mic function.
"Ah, ah, ah."
Never gets less weird hearing my own voice. What if they hear it and think I'm easy pickings? ...Easy pickings my ass—I'll PK 'em into oblivion for revenge.
Taking a huge breath, I flip on the stream.
I can see the chat going absolutely apeshit. Jamsil Station? Gangnam Station? What the fuck is this.
...Dunno exactly, but I quietly mute the mic anyway. No way I'm piping up in this clusterfuck—chat would roast me alive.
So. What the actual hell is going on?
Chat's scrolling so fast I can't keep up.
Ah. Uh. Um. Looks like my personal info got doxxed.
My first outing in six long months, and boom—doxxed instantly? Was it that asshole from the subway? Or the one at Jamsil Station? Or the creep eyeing me at the taxi stand?
Don't know who, but just you wait. Someday I'll pat your head and coo "Good job" real nice.
Guess this means I don't gotta bother explaining myself anymore.
The chat's flooded nonstop with "When mic?" spam.
Mic? Why the fuck would I unmute for any of you?
Ah, feeling way better already.
Not thrilled my pics are all over every community, but whatever. Monthly stipends rolling in, and I'm never leaving the house again anyway.
Mood lifted, about 30 minutes later I sprint to the Annihilation Battle zone.
Nothing beats the rush of griefing at peak condition. I need dopamine. The kind that makes my body shudder.
Lord of the Warrior's war system is straightforward. Meet the win condition, you win. Fail, you lose. And those conditions? Dead simple.
Siege: Capture points to win.
High Ground: Hold the hill and fend off enemies for 5 minutes.
The Annihilation Battle I'm in? Wipe 'em all out, no survivors. Pure brutality.
But strategy? Not so simple.
Melt tanks first to weaken sustain, then backline? Or nuke backline to gut DPS, then tanks? Or just raw physical rush?
Pick wrong, battle flips. Strategy's key.
Of course, too many cooks spoil the broth—bigger teams devolve into chaos.
Annihilation's capped at 100 players. Small scale means fresh strats galore.
⊳ [Replica : Check roster first. We got over 30 mages already]
⊳ [JajangNoodles : Frontline brawl and our sustain crumbles—we lose for sure.]
⊳ [Kurae : Then we overwhelm with firepower.]
⊳ [InstantSignupCoupon : Mages line up front, blast then fall back. Archers second row skills, then warriors...]
15-minute prep, team's brainstorming fast. Strategy: Firepower push. Few tanks, tons of DPS—blitz their front.
Solid call. Unknown enemy tank strength; bad frontline means instant wipe.
Of course. I'm just picking my nose, spectating chat.
Haven't done shit yet and they're already flaming. Didn't even psych 'em out in chat this time.
⊳ [PhilipSeamore : Why? Mic muted?]
⊳ [PlusUltra : ♡♡ Seola's on our team ;;;]
⊳ [Kurae : Oh♡♡]
⊳ [Rexbegon12 : Fuuuck lol]
⊳ [Financi : We're screwed Seola incoming]
⊳ [EvaEtara : Seola nuuuuna!!]
Seeing "Seola" on the roster? Instant freakout.
Took longer than expected to blow up.
5 minutes to start, can't pivot strat now—team's spamming me in panic.
⊳ [PlusUltra : Seola-nim]
⊳ [PlusUltra : Just manner game this once? Pls?]
⊳ [Seola : ^.^]
⊳ [Seola : Ofc manner game uwu :D]
Team ain't noobs—they ain't buying my "manner game" bullshit.
⊳ [SlurpNoodles : Dudes just switch strat. Warriors front row]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Ooo...]
⊳ [SlurpNoodles : Mages second]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Ooo...]
⊳ [SlurpNoodles : Ffs griefer shut up]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Eek T_T]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Ok I'll shut up T_T T_T]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : T_T T_T too mean]
⊳ [SlurpNoodles : Ha lol]
⊳ [SlurpNoodles : Wonder what her stream simps are thinking lol]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Gasp really sticking to original?]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Whoa whoa whoa insane]
⊳ [SlurpNoodles : Still think switching strat's better ;]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Gasp switching strat? Whoa whoa]
⊳ [PlusUltra : Nah original's better. Trust me]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Gasp]
⊳ [SlurpNoodles : Lol you never got hit by her huh?]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Gasp gasp]
⊳ [PlusUltra : Yup never? So what]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Gasp gasp gasp]
⊳ [SlurpNoodles : You're game-blind yeah.]
⊳ [Me (Seola) : Gasp gasp gasp gasp]
Oh dear. Should be trusting each other, not bickering. C'mon team, please let's play a manner game.
