Chapter Title: Kasha Being Educated
-----------------------------------------------------------------
『Kasha’s Perspective』
Thud, thud. Kasha’s distinctive firm footsteps echoed down the corridor.
‘That goblin bastard... I thought he was locked up in the dungeon. Where the hell did he hide?’
She was blindly searching for Gob right now.
She’d checked the dungeon—total waste of time—and now she was tracking him by scent.
‘My body’s been burning up since morning. I’ve never felt anything like this before.’
As a wolf beastkin, Kasha had a regular event that came around periodically.
Her heat.
As a wolf beastkin, she fell into heat on her ovulation days.
The intensity varied each time—sometimes it hit hard, other times it passed without much fuss.
If she had to describe today? The worst she’d ever experienced.
‘Fuck... this is all that goblin’s fault.’
Kasha brushed back the hair falling over her eyes.
Her hair felt dry and frizzy—probably from the stress.
‘My body’s reacting to his scent. It’s craving a baby.’
It was a fact she knew both instinctively and from experience.
Look at her friends—they all went into intense heats after meeting a male they liked.
Usually, they’d grab that male, mate with him, and have his kids.
‘I never imagined a goblin’s scent would do this to me—’
As Kasha turned the corner with those thoughts,
‘Huh? Sera?’
she spotted Sera collapsed right in front of her.
She helped Sera up, followed her back to her room, listened to her story. Somehow, they even ended up bathing together.
And after that....
“How dare you lust after my Sera. I’ll never forgive you.”
Using Sera as an excuse, Kasha set out to find the goblin again.
Laboratory 1.
Kasha had gone looking for the goblin and somehow bumped into Lucy.
“Hmph, everything’s gone cold. Guess I’ll just go hunt in the forest. I’m out.”
Kasha left those words behind and exited the lab.
But instead of heading to the forest, she made a beeline for the kitchen.
‘If I wait in the kitchen, he’ll come by to cook, right?’
Hard to mess with him around Lucy, so she’d switched spots for now.
She waited a good long while until she heard a door opening and closing from the lab direction.
‘Finally came out!’
Kasha, who’d been waiting with bated breath, perked up her ears and focused on the footsteps.
Heading to the kitchen? No—they climbed the stairs to the second floor.
‘What? Not coming to the kitchen? Where’s he going? Sera’s room maybe?’
Kasha bit her lip lightly.
For some reason, her heart raced, and she hurried up to the second floor.
As she got closer to the goblin, Kasha suppressed her presence and stealthily tailed him.
Even though she was right on his heels, the goblin didn’t notice a thing and just kept walking ahead.
He let out heavy sighs as he walked.
“Why are you sighing like that? You don’t even have shit to do.”
She finally spoke up.
The goblin turned around and immediately scowled at the sight of her.
“Hey, you see my face and scowl right away? I’m hurt, you know.”
It wasn’t fake—she was genuinely upset.
She’d waited around just to be alone with him, and now this reaction? Anyone would be bummed.
“Hey, if you’ve got a problem, just say it. You can talk now.”
Kasha pointed at the notebook and pen hanging around the goblin’s neck.
The goblin grabbed the notebook and pen and started scribbling something.
Watching his small hands fidget made Kasha’s lips curl up ever so slightly.
‘Feels like watching my little cousin as a kid. He was so damn cute back then.’
Kasha waited with a bit of excitement bubbling up.
[Didn’t I say I was going hunting?]
The words scribbled on the notebook he held out.
“I’m here to hunt now, aren’t I?”
Kasha thought she’d dropped a pretty thrilling line.
But the goblin’s face soured even more.
“And don’t you know how to use polite speech? You gotta use honorifics with your big sis.”
Worried her usual rough talk had pissed him off, she tried speaking as sweetly as possible this time.
But the goblin whipped his head around and kept walking the way he’d been going.
“Hey, where you off to mid-conversation? Only place you’re headed is jail.”
Kasha trailed right after him.
As she followed, the goblin’s sweat scent brushed past her nose.
Just that alone made her lower belly throb.
‘This smell... this smell...’
Unconsciously, she pressed her nose to his body and inhaled.
‘Wait, what the hell did I just do?’
Her self-awareness slammed on the brakes.
Sniffing him openly would give her away completely.
“Ugh, your sweat stinks so fucking bad!”
She even threw in a fake gag for good measure.
Fortunately, the goblin didn’t seem to care much.
‘Since I already said he stinks, I can offer to let him shower and lure him to my room.’
“You’ll feel all gross sleeping like that. Want to borrow my shower? I’ve got one in my room.”
Kasha did her best to coax him, but he didn’t even turn his head.
The reason became clear when they reached the door to his room.
“Wh-what? This is your room?”
Looked like becoming Lucy’s assistant had gotten him his own room too.
Her plan was totally fucked. No way to lure him with a shower now.
As Kasha racked her brain for the next scheme, the goblin turned his head to the right.
‘What’s he looking at? Something there?’
Following his gaze, she saw Sera’s room.
“Hey, why are you staring over there?”
Irritation crept into Kasha’s voice.
[Can’t I look?]
The words he shoved in her face.
“Who said you can’t look? I asked why you did. Acting all guilty. Pervert goblin.”
[It was bothering me, so I looked.]
“What the hell’s bothering you? Don’t tell me you actually like Sera or some shit?”
Kasha’s voice grew louder.
[I do.]
Thud. Her heart dropped.
She’d already known the goblin had feelings for Sera.
But hearing him state it so bluntly hit different.
“Pfft, you serious? Ah—haha, that’s hilarious. Aren’t you insulting Sera way too much?”
Kasha forced an exaggerated laugh to hide her shock.
“And what? You like Sera, so what’re you gonna do? Kiss her with that mug? Even you know that’s ridiculous, right? Hehe.”
[It’s not like that. I don’t like her expecting anything from her.]
“What a joke. You’re just hitting on her hoping something sticks.”
If it was real affection, you’d wanna cling to them. That’s what Kasha believed.
Even now, standing face-to-face with him, her body was heating up more and more.
She wanted to drag him to her room right this second, press her nose to his body, and breathe him in deep.
[I’m not trying anything.]
“Don’t play innocent. Then why do you like her?”
[I just like everything about her.]
“Pfft, parroting ‘like’ over and over. You’ve got nothing else, huh?”
She hoped he’d give up on Sera.
“You’re never gonna end up with her anyway, so snap out of it quick. I’m saying this for your own good.”
Kasha’s true wish came out in a horribly twisted form.
The goblin looked up at her with indifferent eyes, then turned to head into his room.
“Hold on.”
As he tried to close the door, Kasha grabbed it.
Her crotch had been soaked for ages. She couldn’t let her prey slip away now.
“Uh... you know...”
She had to say something, but she lacked the guts to be straight about it. Needed an excuse.
“Uh... housewarming! Right, I gotta do your housewarming!”
The goblin just stood there, staring at her.
“Don’t know what housewarming is? It’s when you show off your new place to people.”
She even explained what it meant in case he didn’t get it, but he stayed frozen in place.
The goblin openly scanned her body with his eyes.
“Why’re you staring like that? It’s creepy, stop it.”
Her nipples were poking out noticeably, so she covered her chest with one hand.
Still, she gripped the door tight—she didn’t want him shutting her out.
“Kek.”
The goblin suddenly burst out laughing.
“Why the hell are you laughing all of a sudden? Wanna die?”
Did he see right through her? Her face burned hot.
“You know what? You look fucking ugly when you laugh. Your laugh sounds like a damn monkey—hate hearing it.”
Words spat out to pay back the embarrassment. The goblin’s face hardened.
“Ha, look at you stiffen up. Guess you knew it too. Hehe.”
Teasing him cooled her flushed face a bit.
[Gonna prepare real quick. Wait one minute.]
“Prepare? Prepare what?”
[Room’s messy. Lemme tidy it up.]
She suspected it was a trick to ditch her, but she could always force her way in.
“Fine. If you’re not out in one minute, I’m coming in.”
One minute. Just sixty seconds.
Kasha spent that short time pacing back and forth.
‘When’s he coming out? Feels like a minute’s passed already. Did he just bail?’
She couldn’t take it anymore. Her crotch was drenched in her juices.
“Hey, it’s been a minute! You coming out or what? I’m coming in!”
Bang! She flung the door wide open and stepped inside.
Kasha entered the goblin’s room.
A scent she’d never smelled before in her life wafted into her nose.
