My surprise baby-talk attack has left the Mungfools completely dazed.
In the middle of all that, the fact that chats like “It wraps around me…” keep popping up makes it seem like they’re secretly enjoying it? Well, my original voice is insanely good to begin with, so it’d be weird if a little lisping suddenly made it unbearable.
“Pfft… What kind of reaction is that? Were you guys already getting hooked? Then you’ll forget all about my edgy past as Jujak, right~?”

Judging by the reactions, scrubbing my past clean seems impossible.
Well, can’t be helped. Promoting on the gallery to pull in a few viewers at the start was my own choice. Who am I gonna blame?

I can kind of understand it, though. If a guy wrote something like that everyone would just shrug, but imagining a girl writing it… Yeah.
It does feel a little weird. I admit it.
Still, the non-virgin stuff is going too far. I was a virgin in my last life, so this body has to be pure in mind, body, and soul too.
Especially for a VTuber, that kind of thing is a big deal.

I clicked into the Jijijik category after the Eternal Eden donation suggestion. When you enter a category it usually shows viewer counts per game, and for Eden… Oh.
As expected of a popular domestic title, it’s sitting pretty high up. Looking inside, just like the chat said, a lot of VTubers were playing it.
But still…
“Guys… Am I the only one who thinks this?”
“Noooo~ Not that speech pattern, just listen.”
Ahem.
I cleared my throat and continued.
“You know when you sometimes listen to a low-view deadweight like me? If we’re picking the absolute hardest time to listen, isn’t it when I’m playing a game?”
So I wasn’t the only one who felt that way.
It’s true in practice. The second a low-view streamer starts gaming, chat regen slows to a crawl and viewers begin dropping off one by one. I once saw a deep-sea exploration stream with twenty people watching and almost no chat for a full ten minutes.
Can’t be helped. People have preferences about games, and from the viewer side there often isn’t much to say during gameplay. The only reason the chat’s lively right now is because I keep talking and interacting directly.
“Anyway, at my current level a game stream might not be the best idea. If I absolutely have to play something… Hmm.”
After thinking for a second, a good idea hit me.
“How about I go to the arcade and stream from there? I’m pretty decent at arcade games… Hehe.”
I’ve loved going to the arcade ever since I was little. In a way, it’s one of my hobbies that I enjoyed even before wanting to become a VTuber. I’m especially confident in rhythm games and fighting games since I’ve played them a lot.
Arcade veteran. Yeah, that description fits me perfectly.
Plus, streaming from the arcade instead of just playing at home would probably be way more fun for the viewers too.

Obviously I’m not showing my face. I’m not a VTuber yet, but I am an aspiring one. A VTuber revealing their real face should only ever happen through unavoidable accidents.

Keeping streams short is actually part of my strategy. It’s a sophisticated tactic to leave them wanting more so they come back next time.
Just looking at the chat right before I ended, I can tell my plan is working pretty well.
…Of course the poop-meme terror threat feels like a twisted kind of affection. What a lunatic.
Worried he might have actually posted it, I checked the gallery. If he did I’d have to delete it… Hmm, hmm.

Luckily there were no poop memes, just review-like posts about today’s stream.
But there are still people spreading rumors that I must be ugly. I got angry for a second and almost blocked them, but stopped myself.
Blocking over something like this? That would be the real start of the Jujak hunt. I’d have no choice but to take off my mod armband. Things are already precarious enough… Hmm, hmm.
In the end I left that post alone and checked another one.
