Gigantomachia -2-: The Castrating Reaper
Adamantia fought with savage swings of her massive scythe. Right beside her, Heracles wielded his warhammer, smashing the giants' skulls to pieces. Amid the Olympian army, the two of them shone the brightest.
Their terrifying battle was enough to chill the giants to the bone and strike fear into their hearts.
"Where's Eurymedon! Answer me!"
"O-over there, sis! Spare me!"
"Get lost, now!"
"Gaaahhh!"
Adamantia swung the scythe's long handle like a club, sending one giant flying far away. It was a display of monstrous strength rivaling even the god Atlas. The sight of her hurling a mountain-sized giant with just the handle deepened the giants' terror.
"S-sis! It's me, Pallas! Don't you remember me?!"
"How could I forget! That's why Mother sent Echidna, but didn't you hear I was here?!"
"Gaaahhh! This is war, sis. A war to decide Olympus's ruler! Why are you—arghhh!"
"You should've figured it out when you heard I married Heracles!"
The strongest of the giants, Pallas, was getting pummeled by Adamantia. He couldn't help letting out a pathetic yelp when she struck his gut with the blunt back of the scythe. The heavily armored giants didn't dare approach her ferocious figure as she brutally bashed him with the flat side. To them, the blacksmith goddess in her work clothes was no different from Thanatos himself right now. Pallas looked utterly pitiful getting beaten.
"W-what's the big idea, sis?!"
"Where's Eurymedon? Tell me where your king is!"
"You think I'll just spill it like that?! This is war—I can't reveal the king's position!"
"If you don't talk, I'll cut off your dick with this scythe. Still not talking?!"
"……"
When Pallas seemed defiant even under the beating, Adamantia immediately raised her scythe high. As the fearsome blade glinted in the sunlight, he finally felt his legs go weak. Getting castrated—what a horrific fate. His loyalty to the king vanished like feathers in the wind. No, loyalty be damned—he couldn't live as a eunuch in such disgrace.
"A-alright, I'll talk! Just please don't swing that scythe!"
"You'll really tell me?"
"I said I will! Geez!"
Pallas's screams were downright desperate. The giants around him, clutching their weapons and trembling, could only surround her from afar, too scared to charge. They didn't want to get sent flying or lose their manhood. Their fear of their big sis, who handled the enormous scythe like an extension of her body, was no joke. And her ruthless threat made it impossible to approach.
"Anyone who interferes with Pallas's interrogation gets their dick sliced off!"
"……"
"I'm not kidding—don't believe me? Watch!"
"Gaaahhh!"
The scythe flashed, and in an instant, some nameless giant's thing was severed, blood spraying everywhere. Just like that, another giant eunuch was born. The gruesome sight made all the giants shudder. How could such a cruel woman exist?
"S-sis, just kill us! Kill us instead! What kind of torture is this?!"
"No, I don't plan to kill you. We're family, after all, right?"
"Family does this?! Just kill us!"
Unable to stomach the scene, one giant wailed in a pathetic voice, pleading their case. But Adamantia ignored him and swung her scythe again. The protester's thing flew into the air once more. Overwhelmed by unimaginable agony, he collapsed with a shrill scream. The ironclad encirclement of giants around her cracked—it was too horrific to witness.
Seeing it all, Pallas begged, "Sis, I'll take you to the king! Please stop!"
"If Eurymedon's not where you say, Pallas, you're done for."
"I know exactly where he is. Don't worry."
"We've decided. We'll kill Eurymedon and end this war."
"……"
Even to Heracles watching in person, it was a gruesome spectacle—but that's how it was. He and Adamantia planned to swiftly capture Eurymedon, crush the giants' morale, and drag him back to Sicily. There, before Zeus could interfere, they'd hurl the giants into the sea or let them settle on the island. It was a plan to save them, but it hinged on pinpointing Eurymedon's location amid flying mountains, islands, and sprays of blood. That's why Adamantia was subjecting her brothers to this horrific torture on the battlefield.
Heracles found the sight chilling, but he let it be, believing it was better than death. Pallas, however, was furious at the humiliation.
"Sis, did you really submit to Zeus or something? With your help alone, we could wipe him out in seconds!"
"I'm doing this to fulfill Heracles's destiny and save you all. Isn't getting castrated better than dying?"
"No way! Bro! Talk some sense into her!"
"……"
Seeing no mercy from his cruel sis, Pallas desperately called the much younger Heracles "bro." He never would have otherwise, but this monstrous woman would really cut it off if Eurymedon wasn't where he said. To Pallas, living as a eunuch was worse than death. What madness was this? Husband and wife were two peas in a pod, and his bro-in-law's words were heartless.
"Sorry, Pallas. I think getting castrated is better than dying too."
"……You fucking bastard! And you're supposed to be a man?!"
"Watch your mouth with your bro-in-law!"
"Gaaahhh?!"
Furious at his bro-in-law's callous dismissal of a man's agony, Pallas spat venomous curses. Declaring castration better than death? No real man would say that. As his rage boiled over in thick profanity and he pointed accusingly at Heracles, Adamantia swiftly punished the insolence toward her elder. In a flash, Pallas's thing was sliced off, blood gushing everywhere.
Heracles winced, but the giant merely fainted—his bleeding stopped quickly.
"……Sorry, I got carried away."
"……Guess we'll find another general."
"……"
The giants around them fell deathly silent at the newlyweds' death sentence of a conversation. It was too bizarre for a battlefield roaring with shouts and cheers. But what could they do? The cruel sis obsessively targeting men's symbols instead of limbs, and her bro-in-law casually cracking giant skulls with his hammer—it was nightmare fuel.
Adamantia advanced on the encircling giants and said just one thing.
"What're you waiting for? Move."
"But sis! This is war—you need to fall back."
"Yeah! Stop this madness and go back to Sicily already!"
"You wanna get cut too?"
"……"
A few bold(?) giant warriors bravely demanded she retreat, but it fell on deaf ears. Instead, Adamantia raised her blood-drenched, menacing scythe. It was plenty to cow the valiant giant heroes. Her bro-in-law beside her smashed one encircled giant's skull.
"Gaaahhh?!"
"Now, move."
"……"
"Hurry up—we're out of time! This is to save you idiots! You really wanna be eunuchs?!"
"……Go on through, sis, bro."
Unable to withstand Adamantia's bloodthirsty threats, the giants parted the path to Eurymedon. War and loyalty to their king? None of that mattered now. They didn't want cracked skulls or to lose that to their terrifying sis. They'd come to fight a war, not endure this soul-crushing torture.
As the duo boldly charged through the split ranks, one giant warrior muttered in a voice of total surrender.
"This won't do. Let's go to Mom."
Right now, the hellish island their sis guarded didn't matter. They desperately missed Mom. Every giant around nodded in agreement to the quiet whisper.
