I Was Supposed to Treat You to Dinner, Right?
After watching the movie, Hyeji and I ended up at the café. Hyeji was happily spilling out the details of the film she had just seen, mentioning what she liked and didn't like. She was completely different from how she acted at school — there she was timid and hiding, but now she was confidently pouring out her thoughts to me.
It really suited her face.
And... every time she passionately spoke, her massive breasts moved in sync with her body, which was quite enjoyable to look at. It was like my eyes were being healed or something?
"How was the movie for you, senior?"
"Me? Well... it was decent. The killer was a bit... creepy, but..."
Different from Hyeji who enjoyed the movie, I honestly wasn't concentrating much. It was because of that damn killer's grotesque breast morphing!
If it was a woman with a good figure like Hyeji whose breasts were jiggling, it would be fine, but that killer was a bit... over the top.
"Ah, it was indeed terrifying to see a female killer, wasn't it?"
Hearing my words, Hyeji went from the happy expression she had been in earlier to the one she had at school.
"Ah, perhaps you think it's because of the chest. But it's not that. I just found it overall creepy."
"Is that so...?"
Hyeji looked at me with disbelief. I didn't avoid her gaze and stared back. After a while, Hyeji let out a sigh of relief.
"Then next time, let's watch a different movie instead of these slasher ones!"
"Hyeji often comes to watch movies. I haven't been in a while."
"I was thinking of coming to watch movies, but I mostly watch alone."
"Alone?"
"Yes... because there's no one to watch with."
Hyeji lowered her gaze a bit sadly. This is a bit of a sad story. At university, she hadn't made friends, but unlike me who keeps in touch with high school friends, it seems Hyeji has no such friends.
"Then when there are fun movies playing, tell me. Let's watch together."
"Yes, yes? Really?"
Hyeji was surprised, eyes wide open as if she hadn't expected it.
"Watching a movie together? If you don't have anything important, I can do that much."
"Ah, really... senior is a saint..."
Hearing my answer, Hyeji's expression was full of joy as if seeing some heavenly being. After finishing the remaining Americano, I checked the time on my phone and asked Hyeji.
"So what should we do next? Ah, it's already 5 o'clock."
"Huh? Isn't the wish already over?"
"Well, it's a wish, but if you want to go home, it's not bad to part ways here."
If Hyeji had to go home because of something, I could part ways here and go home too, so either way was fine.
"Ah, no, but... I don't know what to do..."
Hyeji was panicking, not knowing what to do since she didn't expect me to say that.
"Or shall we eat a simple dinner? I was supposed to treat you to dinner last time. Let's handle that promise today."
"Ah... yes, okay!"
After answering my words, Hyeji contacted me saying she would go home for dinner.
"Do you live with your parents? I'm living alone."
"Living alone?! Senior, is it okay for a man to live alone? Isn't it dangerous?"
Because it's a gender-reversed world, I understand in my head that it's okay for a woman to live alone with a man, but it seems I can't help but feel unfamiliar with it.
"Living alone? What... I just cook and eat appropriately."
"Ah... so you're living alone..."
Hyeji thought hard, then stood up from her seat.
"Senior, there's a delicious place where families eat around here. Let's go there!"
I nodded at Hyeji's words and stood up. We cleared our empty cups and left the café. I hadn't looked for a place to eat because I didn't know we'd be eating dinner with Hyeji, but since Hyeji seemed to know a good place, I followed her.
The place we arrived at was a pasta specialty restaurant.
"The pasta here is really delicious. Since our family runs a food business, my dad is picky, but this place is one where my dad would approve."
"Really? Then let's go in and check it out."
When we entered the store, the bell on the door rang cheerfully, and the staff greeted us.
"Welcome~ Are you two?"
Upon hearing "yes", the staff led us to a table for two.
I sat down, and Hyeji recommended the Bolognese pasta, while she ordered the Carbonara. Since we ordered different things, I suggested we share, and Hyeji's face was full of joy, smiling from ear to ear.
After waiting a bit, the two pastas came quickly, and we each took portions from our plates to share.
Normally I don't eat much pasta, so I was a bit worried if it would be good, but it was really delicious. The price was reasonable, and it was a great place, wasn't it?
Although it was a bit far from home, I couldn't come often, but if I had errands nearby, I could stop by sometimes.
"Ah, senior. I'll be right back, going to the restroom..."
When I nodded, Hyeji walked to the restroom.
@ Hyeji
What's going on today?
I wonder if I'm dreaming. As I was going home, I might die or something. I'm so overwhelmed with happiness right now that it feels like I've used up my entire life fortune.
Honestly, just watching the movie with senior was enough to fulfill my goal for today. No, it was even more fun and happy than I thought. While watching the movie, I held hands with senior, used the same straw, and even shared the same cola with him — it was too good.
Thinking that the time to part ways with senior after the movie was approaching, I tried to keep talking enthusiastically at the café.
But I never imagined we'd end up eating dinner together without parting ways.
Thankfully I remembered the place where we ate with family, or I might have been flustered and unable to lead in front of senior.
Since it's senior's treat, if we went to a too expensive place, it would burden senior, and if we went to a too cheap place, as someone sharing time with senior, it wouldn't be acceptable.
So I chose the most neutral pasta place. Since dad approved, it should be fine, and luckily senior seemed to like it too.
Honestly, just watching senior eat deliciously from across the table made me feel full, and I'm so happy. I want to stay with senior like this forever...
Then, after the movie, drinking cola and then coffee, a storm of after-effects came. I didn't want to waste even one second of being with senior, so I tried to hold it in as much as possible, but soon I reached my limit and had no choice but to tell senior I was going to the restroom and stood up from my seat.
Even though I wanted to be with senior, I couldn't hold it in at that spot.
Quickly resolving my business, I came out to the hallway to return to my seat, but at that moment, I saw senior talking with the staff who had guided us earlier.
Seeing that, I couldn't return to my seat and peeked my head out while hiding my body. Maybe because I thought the staff was getting along well with senior? Or perhaps my instinct that I, like her, shouldn't interfere between the two.
The staff, unlike me, had a very small chest, so she seemed to get along well with senior. It was so flat it was almost perfect, like a cliff.
Since the staff was in charge of the hall, she paid attention to her appearance and was definitely pick-up material.
Compared to her, I was really... haa...
Curious what they were talking about, I hid and listened carefully, and
"You really have a handsome face. What kind of relationship do you have with that woman?"
"She's a junior from school."
From the conversation, it seemed the female staff approached senior first.
"Wow, really? Maybe... your girlfriend?"
"Not exactly a girlfriend... Sorry, but I don't think we'll end up dating. You've been talking a lot, so please quiet down a bit while I eat. I'll move my seat."
But upon closer look, I saw something in senior's expression — it looked annoyed, like he was irritated. I had never seen senior with that expression before.
But the staff continued the conversation without caring about senior's expression.
"I've heard many people say I'm pretty, but don't be so cold and just give me your number. If you have time later, let's meet up. I'll treat you really well. After all, that woman isn't your girlfriend, so it doesn't matter, right?"
"Haa... I really hate it."
"Why are you so pushy. Don't tell me... you don't like that woman? No way, who would like such a pig-like person?"
The female staff laughed as if it was funny.
But it's a fact I know, but if someone else toys with my chest, it hurts like a thorn in my heart. Having figured out the situation, I was about to return to my seat.
"Haa... not a pig."
"Huh?"
"She's not a pig, you cliff! Why are you talking so much when her chest is flat? How many times have I told you I have no interest!"
Senior, who had been silent, could no longer hold back his anger and raised his voice slightly, starting to shoot at the female staff.
"And who do you think you are to judge others? Not me, so stop with the weird talk and get out of here before Hyeji comes!"
Then, senior shouted with anger, and our eyes met.
Senior, upon noticing me, stood up and walked briskly towards me, grabbed my hand, and walked out the door of the store.
"Excuse me, can we get the bill?"
With senior's action, everyone in the store froze like they were stunned and didn't say a word. Of course, I was the same.
"I said get the bill!"
"Ah, yes!"
The store owner from the kitchen came out hurriedly and stated the price of the food we ate. Senior handed over his card for payment. After receiving the card, he immediately pulled my arm and left the store.
Senior walked while pulling my arm without saying a word, then let out a big sigh.
"Haa... sorry. Your pasta is still a bit left, but I just left it."
"Ah, no. I'm full anyway..."
Actually, I don't know if I'm full or not. My mind was in chaos because of what happened earlier.
"Did you hear the conversation from where?"
"That... from when the staff asked me what kind of relationship I have with you..."
"Ah, then you probably heard most of it... tsk, you don't need to worry about what that person said."
I nodded at senior's words, and after parting ways with senior's words to meet at school next week.
What's going on today? Am I dreaming? I pinched my cheek hard with my finger and it hurt a lot.
But the feeling was really good.
No matter how dumb I am, I can tell that senior got angry for me in that situation just now.
It was cool that the female staff, who belittled me who wasn't there, got angry, and it was also very happy that he said I'm not a pig.
Really, today is the best day of my life...
