A New Encounter (1)
After a sudden downpour that afternoon, I woke from a late sleep and headed for Professor Dufresne's office.
There were two reasons I was going back after everything that had happened the day before.
The first was the professor's threat that if I failed to return the next day, he would make me regret it deeply.
The second was the prophecy from the Black Book I had checked while swallowing the contraceptive from the safe.
The entry for today's date instructed me that if anyone threatened me, I was to obey without a second word.
I could not ignore that book.
"Hoo... tsk... it stings."
The places he had violated yesterday still burned and ached.
Passersby shot glances at my chest as I scowled and clutched my collar shut, but none of them could know that this pale freshman had been raped—by a respected academy professor, no less.
I dragged my aching body from the main gate and walked for ten minutes up to the swordplay building.
My stamina was already poor, and then I got lost on top of it, so I was late.
He had told me to come by three. I needed to get inside before I was any later.
Knock, knock. I rapped on the door and slowly pushed it open.
The moment it swung wide, the reek hit me—sweat mixed with the foul stench of cigarettes, and some unidentifiable potion smell underneath.
The cozy professor's office, finished in dark wood, was filled with a warm heat.
As I stepped inside, Professor Dufresne wore a sticky smile and beckoned me closer with a wave of his hand.
"Why did you call me here?"
"You're cute today too, Miss Blair."
He caught my hand with a leering grin.
"..."
"It's nothing major. If you don't have a boyfriend, how about officially dating me? What do you think?"
"What?"
Crazy bastard, is he out of his mind? Dating a rapist...
And I'm a man, you asshole...
"I'm sorry, Professor. I actually already have someone."
It was the answer I settled on after a brief moment of thought.
"Hmm... An opportunity to date an academy professor doesn't come around easily, you know. On top of that, I'm the strongest among the swordplay professors and one of the few who are still unmarried. If I put my mind to it, I can have any woman I want. Don't you think a freshman is getting a little too high and mighty?"
My answer had clearly soured his mood. His gaze drifted to a silver glass orb resting on the desk.
He reached out, lifted it, and inside the sphere an image began to play like a video.
Ah...
I could scarcely believe my eyes even as I watched.
The naked girl in the recording was being choked and pinned beneath a muscular man.
I could not bear to look any longer and turned my face away.
"If you don't do as you're told, I'll scatter this magic crystal to everyone in the academy. They're expensive, but with my wealth I can make enough to hand one out to every single person."
"There's even a part where you beg me to pump you full of my seed. Look properly!"
Dufresne's voice, thick with rage, filled the room.
Terrified, I squeezed my eyes shut.
So magical tools like that exist in this world... What do I do?
It was not a problem that would yield an answer no matter how hard I fretted right then.
"Um... Professor, just a moment—"
I felt I had to say something, yet I only stammered and could not force the words out.
—Bang!
"Kyaa!"
Enraged, Dufresne seized me by the collar and shoved me into the corner against the wall.
I trembled in fear and stared up at the professor with tear-filled eyes.
"Please spare me, Professor..."
"Then from today on, we're dating. Right?"
He turned on me the same base, sticky gaze he had shown yesterday.
Unable to answer, I simply nodded.
Honestly, I did not want to date this man.
I was afraid he might turn on me at any moment and abuse me, torment me.
But the violence terrified me more.
The overwhelming strength he had displayed.
Crazy gym-rat rapist bastard. I bit my lip and muttered the curse under my breath.
Of course I lacked the courage to say it aloud, so it remained only inside my head.
The professor beamed as he began undoing the buttons of my uniform blouse.
"Haa..."
He poured so much into me yesterday and he's starting again?
A rapist like this is no boyfriend of mine.
I only lied to get through the crisis for now.
Disgusting piece of shit.
Through the parted front of my blouse, my white breasts and dainty nipples came into view.
They rose in firm, missile-like peaks without the slightest sag.
They were the finest pair he had ever seen. With this opportunity, Dufresne seemed to have opened a whole new aesthetic eye.
At the tip of each springy breast a soft pink half-circle spread, crowned by a cute little fruit.
Pink against white skin.
It was a thoroughly provocative color.
The professor snickered and brought his mouth to them.
He had already sucked them raw, yet still he delighted in them like this.
No matter how I looked at it, the only explanation was a deranged lust.
—Slurp... slurp...
He greedily sucked at the beautiful exposed breasts, making lewd wet sounds.
I shook my head with an openly disgusted expression.
My slender arms pushed against his chest, but it was useless.
The difference in strength between us was simply too great.
"What? You don't like it?"
A puzzled look turned toward my face.
"I-I'm just embarrassed, Professor."
I made the excuse, afraid he might hit me for nothing.
"Nothing to be embarrassed about. We're lovers who love each other now."
"And call me Oppa from now on. There's only a twenty-year age gap."
What? When did I ever become your lover? And twenty years is a father-and-daughter gap.
"Yes... Oppa."
I answered reluctantly.
"Heh heh... And you'll get a perfect score in swordplay class no matter what. Keep that in mind."
Just stop already...
Helplessness washed over me at the realization that I could offer no resistance at all, and I wiped away tears that spilled without my noticing.
It was right then.
Without any warning the door suddenly opened, and a tall young man in blue clothes stepped into the professor's office.
What met his eyes was a young freshman being forcibly molested by Dufresne while tears streamed down her face.
And on the desk, the magic crystal was still looping the recording of Professor Dufresne raping me, complete with sound.
"Professor Dufresne, what in the world is this..."
He stared, dumbfounded, at the impossible scene before him.
"It's nothing of the sort, Professor Anton. This student and I are in a loving relationship. We are officially dating."
Badly flustered, Dufresne shoved me aside and hurried toward the desk.
The tall, handsome man was apparently a professor as well.
His name was Anton.
"This is outrageous. No excuses are necessary. I will use this magic crystal as evidence and press charges against you."
With swift hands Anton snatched up the magic crystal and tucked it into his coat.
His body already heated, Dufresne drew his sword.
"Since you drew first, may I take that to mean you are prepared to lose your life?"
Anton's cold gaze locked onto Dufresne's face.
"Come on and try it if you can!"
A murderous attack lashed out.
—Clang!
It was a sight hard to believe even while watching it.
Anton was charging.
Dufresne spread a flurry of sword strokes to block his path.
Each time, without fail, a sword strike erupted and traced a silver arc.
Downward cuts, upward cuts, thrusts in between.
He advanced while swinging countless attacks, yet his speed never slowed.
At this academy, professors were called Masters.
By that measure their skill should have been equal.
But Anton's speed was something else. He dodged the blows raining from every direction and counterattacked.
In the end, blood welled from the scrapes and gashes on Dufresne's body.
"This crazy..."
It was a single muttered word mixed with a groan of pain.
If he lost this fight, his future would clearly be bleak.
Raping a female student inside the sacred academy.
Even as a professor he would be dismissed and then pay the full price for his crime.
At last, ready to die if he must, Dufresne focused his mind and began wrapping his entire body in mana.
I had seen that attack once before, and worry surged ahead of everything else.
It was a strike too fast for the eye to follow, and its destructive power was terrifying as well.
Taking that attack head-on was no different from attempting suicide.
If it had been anyone else standing there, I would have laughed at their recklessness. Yet the man named Anton before my eyes did not flinch; he simply waited for Dufresne's attack.
"Dodge!"
It was a desperate cry.
I stamped my feet with my eyes wide open.
I looked ready to rush out at any second.
If Dufresne won, I was as good as dead myself.
To erase the evidence of his crime, he would certainly kill me too.
Anton drew a deep breath, focused his spirit, and leveled his sword. A soft blue light began to radiate from the blade.
A fierce emotion of terror flashed through Dufresne's pupils.
"Tch... So you finished it after all."
He swallowed dryly and continued.
"Hey, Anton! How about we stop this and share the girl instead? She's an absolute knockout. You could search the whole academy and never find another woman like her."
"There's no need for us to fight. I'll let you have her as much as you want."
At that, Anton's eyes changed.
A chilling light even flickered through his brown irises.
"How about it? If you want, I can even step aside for you. I've already had my fill, after all."
Dufresne kept speaking as if pleading.
"..."
"A man about to die sure talks a lot."
It was a single line Anton tossed out as if it were nothing.
He spun the blue-glowing sword once, then stomped the floor with a sharp thud and took a light step forward.
