Spoils (3)
A week had passed since I merged the theme park into the Nest.
Not only had I recovered every number lost in the battle against Medeia—I had swollen far beyond that. The city I had previously overrun was once again under my grip, and I had successfully claimed five more cities besides.
The Penislimes and jellyfish had multiplied beyond counting. The Anemones numbered around ten thousand, and the Slaveyrynths were estimated in the thousands.
"The Management Bureau is starting to catch on! You really need to come up with a plan!"
It's the Slaveyrynths, isn't it?
"Yes. Even if only for a moment, the victims realize they're being violated."
Se-a had finally come home. Lately the Bureau had kept her so busy she barely ever clocked out. She brought word that they had finally picked up my trail.
Time I paid her another visit.
"Her? The Red Woman?"
That's right.
A full week. I was curious how much she had changed.
I approached the woman being ravaged by slimes in a corner of the Nest.
"F-finally you're here? Please, I'm begging you… I'll do anything, just give me my body back…"
I like that attitude. Can you really do anything?
"I've always done whatever I wanted. I'll truly do anything."
Truthfully I could have branded her with the Subjugation Brand a week ago, but my anger still hadn't cooled, so I had left her like this. Now the anger was gone, and with the Bureau closing in I needed a countermeasure. It was time to let her free.
I carved the Subjugation Brand into her flesh, then took the anal-plug form of Medeia and shoved it back into the body's anus so she could move again.
"M-my body! This sensation! This feeling! This pleasure!"
"W-wait, it's spraying everywhere!"
The moment Medeia could feel her own flesh again she started frantically finger-fucking her pussy. Whether she was making up for a week of dopamine starvation or simply couldn't help herself, the masturbation was utterly frenzied. Pussy juice sprayed in every direction; Se-a and Yu-mi shrieked and scrambled aside, while I simply stood there and took the shower.
That's enough.
"Ah—Aaaah?!"
I reined her in through the brand. Getting hosed down by her juices would have been fine, but dealing with the Bureau came first.
"Nngh. Hoo! Fine, what do you want to know?"
Tell me everything about the Management Bureau. Leave nothing out.
"Got it. Once I'm done, can I go back to masturbating?"
I'll think about it.
At that, Medeia rattled off Bureau intel like she was freestyling a rap. Se-a, as a Bureau employee, had already given me the basics, but Medeia's knowledge ran far deeper.
"First, the Bureau's upper echelon is six people total—the section chiefs of each division plus three directors…"
"They're currently managing 8,759 anomalies. Of those, 159 are S-rank, A-rank numbers are…"
"Right now the Association has infiltrators inside the Bureau: the A-rank anomaly [Doppelganger], the C-rank anomaly [Mirror Man]…"
Information only the Bureau's top brass should have known. Given her combat power, the Association had clearly fed her all sorts of classified material.
"That's everything I know about the Bureau. Need anything else?"
My subordinate units are currently spreading and breeding across multiple cities. The Bureau is going to notice soon. Give me a countermeasure.
"Ah… those slimes and jellyfish? How have they not been found out until now?"
Medeia rested her chin on her hand and thought hard.
"No idea."
What?
"I said I don't know. I never bothered worrying about getting caught while I was running around."
Troublesome. I had expected someone of her caliber to have at least one plan ready.
"D-don't say something so irresponsible! We only released you so we could get a solution!"
"Heh heh, little cutie? Even I can't dodge the Bureau when they get serious. When that happens you either run or fight—those are the only two options."
"But still!"
Se-a kept shouting from the side. I understood her position, though. The Bureau was moving in earnest to catch me and had already grabbed my tail. At this stage there was no clever trick left.
Nothing except a frontal assault.
You're right. We can't keep dodging the Bureau forever. But that doesn't mean I have to fight them alone.
"You're going to borrow the Association's hand?"
No. I'm going to make the Association borrow mine. Follow me.
I took Se-a, Yu-mi, and Medeia to Se-a's house. In the living room an onahole sat on the desk—the one Medeia had left behind earlier so the Association could contact her.
I poured yin energy into it. An old, oily voice answered.
"It's been a while."
Good to hear from you.
"You've learned to speak."
Grew a bit after the last fight.
During the previous battle I had bought a vocal organ just so I could insult Medeia with my own voice. Now I could talk to the Association Leader the same way.
"I hear quite a lot has happened."
You mean the part where someone from your Association tried to kill me?
"If you're referring to the Red Woman, she left the Association the moment her messenger duties ended."
Hahaha!
What a delightful joke. If he actually believed that, the Association Leader was an idiot and it was funny; if he was trying to lie, it was so transparent it was still funny.
"Why are you laughing?"
I just heard a funny joke, so I'm laughing. Did you really think that excuse would fly?
"I was under the impression the matter of the Red Woman was already settled. I told you before—her actions had nothing to do with the Association."
He had said that, yes. That the Association couldn't control her and would actually prefer if someone killed her.
You were the ones who used her as a messenger. You gave her the reason to come after me.
"…So what do you want?"
The Management Bureau is starting to get on my nerves. Let's shake them up together.
"We're certainly willing. However…"
The Association Leader hesitated. Their entire purpose was opposing the Bureau, wasn't it? Why refuse my invitation?
"The Management Bureau is a vast and towering fortress. Not an organization two groups like ours can simply topple."
You're scared.
"Correct. After centuries of facing them, we know exactly how terrifying they are."
The Bureau's combat power was indeed monstrous. They had cleaned up a city-swallowing swarm of Penislimes in a matter of hours, and even Medeia—who had fought me to a standstill—admitted she ran the moment the Bureau gave chase.
According to her intel, Calamity-class anomalies had appeared at least three times in history. Look at human society now: that peace could never have lasted unless those Calamity-class threats had been destroyed.
"Your strength was made clear by recent events. Still, the Bureau is fully capable of handling a Calamity-class anomaly."
They'll take heavy losses doing it, of course.
"Heavy losses aren't enough. They need catastrophic… annihilation-level losses before we can swallow them."
That severe? No wonder the Association feared the Bureau.
"You need to grow stronger as well. Do you require more humans for that growth?"
No. I'd rather you point me toward the locations of other anomalies.
"Anomalies…? May I ask why?"
Humans I could harvest endlessly through my subordinate units. Anomalies were different. Hunting them down took time; getting the locations outright was faster.
Devouring anomalies makes me grow much faster.
"Ah… understood. I'll give you the information."
The Association Leader recited location after location. It was almost impressive how readily the data came.
"…That is everything I know regarding location-type anomalies."
Appreciated. I'll contact you again soon.
"If you need anything further, feel free to reach out."
The connection cut.
I scanned the list of anomalies Se-a and Yu-mi had written down.
"Most of these are either under Bureau management or belong to the Demon King's army. Looks like they're planning to wring every last drop of use out of you."
This kind of little prank is just cute.
"So where are we going first? My recommendation is… here."
I examined the anomaly she pointed out. It looked suitable even to my eyes.
We leave tomorrow.
"Th-then… can I go inside and masturbate now?"
…My subordinate units will help you.
"Heh heh heh heh heh…"
Medeia dashed off toward the Nest in high spirits. A full week of pent-up lust, apparently. Watching her own body get violated nonstop for seven days must have been pure torture for a woman already addicted to dopamine and pleasure.
All right. Let's head back too.
I took Se-a and Yu-mi and returned to the Nest.
"Are you truly intending to strike both a Calamity-class anomaly and the Management Bureau?"
In a shabby study, two men were speaking.
"Heh heh. If that fellow hits the Bureau, we only stand to gain."
"He even took down the Red Woman. He should be able to inflict serious damage on the Bureau."
It was the Association Leader of the Corrupt Exorcist Association—the same old man who had just been speaking through the onahole—and his secretary.
"But the creature is dangerous. The Bureau may have experience purging Calamity-class anomalies, yet those were times when organizations like the Association or the Demon King's army didn't exist."
"Meaning he has plenty of rivals."
"Exactly. There's even a chance he could collapse the Bureau entirely."
"S-surely not."
The Association Leader's aged eyes flashed. A fact he had just learned while speaking with the creature: Calamity-class anomalies could still grow.
Even now it was strong enough to kill the Red Woman. How much stronger would it become after further growth? He couldn't even imagine.
Calamity-class anomalies had always been unimaginably powerful. Yet because they were solitary entities, the Bureau could eventually bring them down if it staked everything. This one, however…
"Remember the final records of the Womb Bomber and the Energy-Absorbing Succubus. That creature is not alone."
A Calamity-class anomaly commanding tens of thousands of lesser horrors.
"Leak the information to the Bureau. Tell them a Calamity-class anomaly is hunting other anomalies."
"How should we deliver it? They won't trust anything that comes from us."
"Feed the intel to some disposable Association member and hand him over to the Bureau. They'll dig the brain out and analyze it themselves."
The secretary left the study to carry out the order.
The old man stroked the onahole and murmured,
"If things go south… we may even have to join hands with the Bureau."
He hoped such a day would never come.
