Anemone (2)
I decided to conduct the communication with the Association President from Se-a's place.
I had no idea how this onahole actually worked, but if it had any kind of location tracking or coordinate-pinpointing function built in, that would be a serious problem.
He said injecting yin energy would let me communicate, right?
I pressed a tentacle against the onahole and poured yin energy into it. Handling an onahole that some other guy might have used was thoroughly disgusting, but there was no helping it.
The onahole was shaped unnervingly like a human. The moment yin energy flowed in, the mouth at the head end parted open, and an old man's voice came through.
"Ah, ah. Can you hear me?"
"Ah, yes! Loud and clear."
"Good. Might the one speaking be the Calamity-class anomaly?"
"My Master is unable to produce a voice of his own, so I, his proxy, am relaying his words."
"Ohh, is that so. Allow me to introduce myself first. I am the President of the Corrupt Exorcist Association. The Management Bureau refers to me as the Doll Maker."
So the Association President was also an entity the Management Bureau had designated as an anomaly. That aside — Doll Maker, huh.
Looking at the onahole sitting on the table in front of me, I had to admit the name was pretty on the nose.
"First, allow me to apologize for the discourtesy of the Red Woman I sent as a messenger."
"She's affiliated with the Association, yet she was rather openly hostile. Master asks why."
"Haha. She may belong to the Association, but she's a free-spirited little bitch who runs wild as she pleases."
"And why should we believe that?"
"Hmm… If you wish, you may kill her. For a Calamity-class anomaly, that should be a trivial matter."
Was Medeia really not that closely tied to the Association? Or was this a bluff? I was terrible at these kinds of mind games…
"Understood. We will handle Medeia on our end."
"Haha. As expected of a Calamity-class anomaly."
"Then Master asks what the Association wants."
"What we want… First of all — does Lord Tentacle desire the collapse of human society?"
The collapse of human society. Honestly, whether it collapsed or not made absolutely no difference to me.
Extinction, though — that would be a problem. I needed women's bodies to sustain my life.
"Master says the collapse of human society is none of his concern, but he does not desire extinction."
"Excellent. Our Association does not desire extinction either. In other words, we shall take it that you have no voluntary intention of bringing human society to ruin."
Well. If I kept scattering lower organisms around, things would probably get a bit wrecked anyway. Better not mention that.
"Frankly, for us, it is more than enough that a Calamity-class anomaly such as yourself simply refrains from moving actively."
"Master asks whether there is any form of compensation."
"Oh! What is it you desire? We shall accommodate you to the fullest extent."
I didn't particularly want anything, honestly. Hmm… Should I have them offer up some women? Ever since the Management Bureau started breathing down my neck, proper human hunting had become difficult.
"H-He says he wants human women."
"Haha. A simple enough matter. Would about three a day suffice?"
"He says that is sufficient."
"I shall give you the location."
The Association President began reciting coordinates. Yu-mi wrote them down on paper exactly as he dictated.
"That location is an entry point into a certain anomaly."
"Ah, so we won't be receiving the goods at that place itself?"
"Haha. The Management Bureau is thorough to a fault. Human trafficking of that sort is nearly impossible to conduct in the real world."
"So inside the anomaly…"
"Correct. It is an anomaly, so there are points of caution I should inform you of. Of course, whether a Calamity-class anomaly would need such advice, I cannot say."
"I-I might be the one going, so please tell us."
"Very well. First of all…"
Yu-mi started jotting down the precautions again. Listening to them, it sounded like a rather interesting anomaly. I figured I should tag along for the trade at least once.
"We will need time to prepare as well, so we would be grateful if you could come in three days. Is there anything else you wish to ask?"
"Master says nothing for now. He says he will ask if something comes up."
"Very good. Going forward, the Association wishes to maintain amicable relations with you, so please do not hesitate to speak of anything you desire."
After exchanging a few pleasantries with the Association President, we wrapped up the call.
"He seemed rather kind, didn't he?"
Hard to say. Who knows how twisted that mind of his really is.
Just looking at this onahole alone was enough to tell you the man was not normal.
I decided to leave the onahole at Se-a's place for the time being, and Yu-mi and I returned to the Nest.
Back in the Nest, a massive sea anemone was in the middle of ravishing a group of women.
The Anemone stood about as tall as a woman's lower body, and through its translucent trunk you could see the female host curled up in a tight ball inside.
"Kyaah♥!"
"Hyaang♥!"
Dozens of tentacles sprouting from its head were freely violating the women's erogenous zones. The peculiar part was that it was channeling the yin energy it absorbed from them straight into its host.
Hmm. I'm sure there's a reason for that.
"U-Uwaah…"
What, jealous? I could plant one in you too, you know.
"Th-That's…"
I'm kidding.
I tossed the joke at Yu-mi, who had been staring at the Anemone in pure revulsion. Her reactions were always so entertaining that I couldn't help teasing her.
At any rate, I still needed to put the Anemone's performance to the test… Did that mean I had to go find another anomaly?
Hunting humans was always an option, of course, but the Management Bureau was a concern.
If I hunted too frequently, they might figure out how I moved — or worse, develop a technique to open my passages in reverse.
"Th-Then how about testing it on the women you've already hunted?"
They're just empty bodies with the personalities stripped out. Hard to get a detailed read on the reactions.
"There are people you hunted successfully who still have their personalities intact, though."
You and Se-a?
"Ah, n-no! D-Do you remember my roommate?"
Ah. The moment Yu-mi said it, it came back to me. There had been one woman I'd used to verify the Cognitive Impairment Jellyfish's performance.
I checked the field of vision of the jellyfish still attached to the roommate. It seemed the Management Bureau still hadn't caught on.
The jellyfish only moved actively while inside the dormitory, so the people around her probably never noticed anything strange.
Looks like they covered for your disappearance pretty well, too.
"Aaah…"
This time, let's go grab some of your things while we're at it.
"Y-Yes, sir!"
Yu-mi seemed thrilled at the prospect of going outside for the first time in a while. The excitement was written all over her face.
I ordered the Anemone to follow us.
Its size was far too large to come out through a toilet, though, so this time I connected the passage a bit wider.
I linked the passage to a washing machine in the dormitory laundry room.
The first thing I saw upon emerging was a college girl I'd never met before.
"Is the laundry done yet?"
But her eyes weren't looking at me.
Has it already swallowed the entire dorm?
"Eek! Th-There's a slime just wandering around!"
A Cognitive Impairment Jellyfish with a tentacle jammed into each of the girl's ears had rewritten her perception.
I looked around. Slimes were rolling across the floor, and the ceiling was thick with floating jellyfish.
The entire dormitory had become a kind of breeding ground.
They're about to burst at the seams. Is it because I told them last time not to go outside the dorm?
I issued an order for them to spread out without getting caught by the Management Bureau.
Use the sewers, infect family members — whatever. Just don't trash the whole city the way they had last time.
At my command, several slimes began to move. Apparently they'd already mapped out routes in advance.
Jellyfish, assemble. Yu-mi, go pack your things.
"Yes, sir!"
At my order, every college girl in the dormitory began gathering in the laundry room. Every last one of them wore the same vacant expression.
Ready?
The Anemone answered by bouncing its plump body with a springy wobble. The overflowing confidence was a pleasant sight.
Good. Then drop the impairment on all of them.
At my command, the jellyfish released their cognitive interference. Reason returned to the women's eyes, and they began questioning everything they'd been doing.
"W-Why am I in the laundry room…?"
"I don't have any memories of the past few days…?"
"W-Wait, look over there!"
A few of them started to register our presence. Perfect timing. I gave the Anemone its order.
Fire.
The Anemone's tentacles bunched together, transforming into a single gun barrel. The yin energy it had been storing in its host surged upward and began condensing deep inside the barrel.
"K-Kyaaak?!"
"Run!"
Sensing the ominous energy, the college girls spun around to flee — and in that instant, the laser fired.
—Ziiing!
A single flash of light carved a line from one end of the laundry room to the other. An invisible horizontal streak was drawn clean across every woman's abdomen.
"Huh…?"
"Th-This is…?"
A brief silence.
And then.
"Kyaheung♥?!"
"Hyat♥?!"
"Hkiiit♥?!"
—Pshuuush!!
The college girls convulsed, hips snapping as they collapsed one after another, every last one of them gushing in a violent squirt.
Whoa.
Dozens of women knocked out cold by a single laser — a scene of pure, overwhelming force. I stroked the Anemone with something like pride.
I had finally acquired an area-of-effect technique I'd never had before.
Jellyfish, get back to work.
I watched the jellyfish drive their tentacles back into the college girls' ears and waited for Yu-mi.
About a minute later, she came running with a stuffed bag slung over her shoulder. The thoroughly excited look on her face was almost cute.
"Hgyak?!"
There was a minor incident where Yu-mi slipped on a puddle of love juices midway through, but we made it back to the Nest without further trouble.
On top of that, through the fields of vision of the jellyfish and slimes I'd ordered to disperse, I'd spotted plenty of hunting targets unlikely to draw the Management Bureau's attention — so I planned to resume human hunting before long.
There were women living like shut-ins, isolated in their rooms, and others who barely ever went outside.
That's enough for today.
I'd hunted an anomaly, met the Red Woman and the Corrupt Exorcist Association, and finished by confirming the Anemone's performance. A productive day all around.
One last time, I'd have Se-a double-check the Management Bureau's sources of information — and once it felt safe enough, I'd restart the hunts.
Until then… I suppose I'll play with Yu-mi.
"Eh? A-Aaah♥!"
Until Se-a arrived, I thoroughly indulged in Yu-mi's delectable body.
