As you know, I Unknowingly Rejected My Favorite is a story about a handsome man who falls in love with a VTuber.
The cute heroine, Doah, and the otaku protagonist, Taemin, who is clumsy at everything except for his looks.
I wanted to write a story about the two of them growing as they fall in love.
A story where they sometimes whisper thrillingly sweet words of love, sometimes fail and make a complete mess of things, but always rely on each other to eventually find their own paths.
I've always felt that being a great source of support for each other is a truly wonderful and beautiful thing.
I would be overjoyed if their chaotic, year-long story was enjoyable for all of you.
Some of you might feel the ending was a bit rushed, but from the very beginning, I planned for this novel to cover only a single year of their story.
My thought was: Let's not drag it out. Let's show exactly the story I wanted to tell, and then end it.
Still, I wanted to show that the two of them did find their happy ending, which is why the epilogue was written from a point of view far in the future.
As for my next work, I plan to start it after I finish my previous novel, The Divorced Man Regressed.
I'm aiming for a start date around May, but I can't give you a definite confirmation on when that will be.
The genre is a campus rom-com!
And the setting is a bishoujo band club!
