Mun Su-rin
Welcome to the world of Sex Academy.
Player [Kim Jinho] has been personally invited by the God of Bets.
The host of this wager is the god of Sex Academy.
Having detected a degree of coercion and unfairness in the process, the System will assist the participant in order to restore balance.
I didn't even have time to think What the hell is this? before more lines of text began flooding my vision, stacking so fast they seemed determined not to give me a single second to breathe.
Forced transmigration confirmed — coercion level 80%.
Origin worldline confirmed: no mana, no monsters.
Main Quest coercion confirmed.
I wanted to actually read the messages. They had no intention of letting me. The next wave was already slamming across my vision.
Privilege for forced transmigration: Memory Supplement
Privilege for originating from a worldline without mana or monsters: Clear Mind
Privilege for Main Quest coercion: Mana Affinity
"Wait, what the hell is—"
Difficulty: HIGHEST
Clear Probability: 6%
Remember: this probability will rise or fall depending entirely on your actions.
Good luck.
The sentences filled my eyes in a single rush. I'd read them once, but my brain hadn't come close to catching up. The instant I tried to focus and go through them again, the letters began to vibrate. They glowed, shook, and steadily lost their shape until they collapsed into a single mass of light — and slammed straight into my body.
Aaaaaaagh— wait. Ah? That didn't hurt at all?
Wasn't this the part where I was supposed to writhe in agony? That was the cliché, wasn't it? Instead of pain, my head went crystal clear. My mind had never felt sharper.
According to the System, I was a being this world's god had personally invited. Meaning the god6974 I'd argued with that day was the god of this world, and he'd gotten so pissed watching me trash his creation in a review that he'd dragged me into it.
Invited? Was that what the gods were calling this?
I'd ripped the story to shreds, so now I was supposed to become the protagonist myself and fix it. Unbelievable.
Right. The Main Quest. There had been a line about the coercion of the Main Quest.
"Main Quest."
A chime rang in my ears. I'd said it half in disbelief, half as a joke — and the letters bloomed in front of my eyes all over again.
Conquer every heroine and survive until the game's ending.
If you can.
Anyone would get pissed if some stranger tore into their work. But was a god allowed to be this petty?
There were six heroines in this game. You couldn't even romance all six of them at once inside the game. And now I was supposed to pull that off in real life?
I'll just have to try. For now.
Sitting around wondering whether I could do it was a waste of energy. What I needed to figure out was how. I'd been dropped into a situation with no way out. That meant I had to give it everything I had.
The fact that I could stay this calm in the middle of something this insane was probably thanks to Clear Mind.
So what now?
First, copying the original Lee Ho-yeon as closely as possible was off the table. Sex Academy didn't have a harem route. One playthrough, one heroine. I remembered every capture method by heart, but this wasn't a game anymore. A handful of events wasn't going to send anyone's affection shooting through the roof, and parroting Lee Ho-yeon's choices at every flagged scene would be meaningless anyway. I'd have to live like him too — every ordinary day, every tiny judgment call — and that was a ridiculous assumption to build a plan on. I needed my own method.
Time to get organized. I'd always had a habit of lining up my tasks in order before I started anything. I pulled a notebook and pen from my bag and sat down at the desk.
— Figure out these perks.
— Identify divergences from the original.
— Learn the local geography.
— Assess combat capability.
That was everything I could come up with on the spot. Honestly, I'd run out of ideas after "learn the local geography" and forced "assess combat capability" onto the list just to fill the space. I'd have to check it eventually anyway.
The most important item was figuring out whether this world diverged from the original. I glanced at the clock. Six-thirty. Not late — but it wasn't early, either.
Maybe I should take a walk through the shops around campus.
The perks I'd just been handed needed looking into, but mapping the area was just as important. It might even help me spot differences from the original, and I could sort through information tonight. For now, I needed to get a look at the streets around the academy.
I set my list aside and stood up.
The commercial district outside Victoria Academy was something else. A short walk from the main gate dumped you into a dense cluster of shopping complexes, nightlife, and every convenience you could want. This was an academy that drew in capable young people who also wanted to have a good time, and the infrastructure around it needed no further explanation. Entertainment and amenities lined every block. There was even a power plant nearby.
Walking the area had been the right call. I'd start with the event locations I remembered from the game. If I got lucky, I might even cross paths with a heroine. If I didn't, learning the streets around those spots would pay off eventually — guaranteed.
There was something surreal about walking roads I'd only ever seen on a screen. And because this was a world where mana was everyday technology, half the goods in the windows looked stranger and more fascinating than anything from my old life.
Day one. Just take it slow. Get a feel for what's around.
I wandered without any real destination, letting the streets teach me. A street stall was selling monster-meat skewers, so I bought one — and nearly stopped in my tracks. It was ridiculously good. I'd been worrying about living expenses at the academy, but apparently every student received a monthly stipend of three million won just to maintain appearances. No wonder people fought to get in.
I was still walking, still eating the skewer, when a speech bubble burst into existence right in front of my face.
Do you even deserve to have a heroine?
Hold a conversation of five lines or more with the heroine you are about to meet!
Reward: +1 to a random stat
"Shit. You scared me."
What was this, a Sub Quest? So this was the Heroine Conquest System they'd mentioned.
Unique Authority: Combat Sense
Skills: None
???: ???
My stats were all sitting somewhere between thirty and forty. Mid-to-low among the cadets at Victoria Academy.
Plus one to a random stat. Not bad.
In the game, you could mash the Train button and watch the numbers climb. Reality didn't work that way — and I didn't see myself grinding physical conditioning for hours on end, either.
But who am I about to run into?
The heroines' capture difficulties were all over the place. Which one I met would decide whether this quest was even possible. I was hoping for an easy one. If I drew someone like Nam Da-eun — the type who'd ignore me outright rather than give me the time of day — I was finished.
That was when I heard a cluster of girls murmuring up ahead.
"Hey, look over there. The girl sitting in that café — isn't that the student council president?"
"Holy crap, no way. So those rumors about her working here sometimes were actually true? I'm coming here every day from now on."
Even the sliver of her profile visible through the café's full-wall window was enough to steal every eye on the street. Somehow, on day one, a heavyweight had wandered straight onto my radar.
Mun Su-rin.
The granddaughter of Victoria Academy's chairman sat inside with her brow furrowed, hunched over a laptop as if it had personally offended her. That platinum-blonde hair caught the light even from a distance, falling straight and clean. Her features were so neatly composed they seemed to announce I am a model student, and her skin was so pale it looked like it was putting off pheromones designed to wreck men. Not even those unfashionable horn-rimmed glasses could hide how beautiful she was.
She was in uniform, and even that couldn't stop her chest and hips from announcing themselves. This was a body that had never been destined for the honor-student route.
Mun Su-rin was the only heroine in Sex Academy who wore glasses, and the glasses crowd had loved her for it. Then you played her route and found out she ditched them for contacts just to look better for the protagonist — a treacherous little reveal that left an entire faction of fans in tears.
She was also the heroine I'd wanted to meet first. Maybe this was going to be easier than I thought.
