The Elven Encirclement
A dense, massive forest. Enormous trees soared toward the sky. The subtropical vegetation packed tightly throughout the woods felt alien and hostile. Until now, forests had simply been familiar spaces offering pleasant scenery and walking trails—a source of healing for humans. But that was only because they were in Korea, where humans had cultivated and arranged them for their own convenience. The vast, untamed wilderness where true nature thrived was never meant to be friendly or welcoming to people.
Chirp-chirp-chirp!
The cries of unknown birds made me shrink back. The other students in the class looked just as intimidated by the hostile atmosphere of the forest, even if not quite to my extent.
“Where are we?”
“Where do you think? It’s virtual reality.”
“Oh, shut up. That’s not what I’m asking, you bitch.”
Amid the girls bickering now that they’d grown closer, a few offered more plausible guesses.
“Judging by the climate, it looks like a subtropical jungle or forest… but there’s one strange thing. The vegetation has grown at an abnormal rate. It’s unlikely for plants this large to exist in a subtropical zone between temperate and tropical climates. Even if no human hands have touched it, this forest feels like something’s off.”
“Something like what?”
“I don’t know that far either. But it feels alien somehow.”
“What kind of random environment did the teacher set up? Even if it’s random, couldn’t she have dialed it back a bit?”
“Our homeroom teacher probably just hit random without any conditions or restrictions… I’m just grateful we didn’t end up in a volcanic zone or the Arctic Siberian wilderness.”
I wholeheartedly agreed with that girl’s words in my heart. Given Park Hyeji’s personality, she’d definitely just slammed random without setting any limits. She probably grumbled about it being a hassle, scratched her ear or her belly and ass, slapped together some half-assed settings, and went to sleep.
“Still, she wouldn’t have set the monsters to complete random, right? We’ll probably get goblins or orcs scaled to our difficulty. No way we’d run into super high-level monsters or hostile species…”
“No way~”
“Whatever. No matter what shows up, I’ll wipe them all out anyway.”
I wanted to shut the girls’ mouths. They were planting flags left and right. Fortunately, it seemed at least one girl thought the same as me.
“Oh, shut up, you bitches. Stop planting flags.”
“Bullshit. Saying that is a flag too, you know.”
“Flag lore: characters who tell others not to plant flags like I just did tend to survive longer.”
“Flag lore: because you just acted like an exposition dump, you’ve turned into an extra gag character and are scheduled to die soon.”
The girls were busy teasing and laughing at each other with jokes and banter. They’d been tense for a moment, but the fact that this was virtual reality rather than the real world seemed to have a big effect. And somehow… it felt like they were trying to show off now that they knew I was watching.
“Normally, if we were stranded in an environment like this, we’d prioritize securing drinking water and food first… but since we only need to last twenty-four hours, we don’t really have to go that far, right…?”
“Still, even if food’s whatever, shouldn’t we at least secure water?”
“That makes sense. Let’s split up and look for water.”
“Hey, hey, our top priority is everyone in the class surviving. If we split up, we’ll just get picked off one by one. Haven’t you ever seen those mystery survival movies where monsters show up?”
“Is that so? Then let’s all go look together. Does anyone here use spirit magic?”
“Oh, right. Spirit magic. If we summon a water spirit, wouldn’t that just solve our water supply?”
“You idiot. We need to save our mana for when monsters appear. Why would we waste it summoning spirits just for water? Unless we’re literally dying of thirst, that’s not happening.”
“Ah, true. Tsk. Then we can’t rely on spirits or magic for water.”
The girls discussed among themselves and came to a decision. I’d been worried they might rely on me as the class president and start asking questions, but thankfully they consulted with Vice President Choi Seoa instead and left me out of it. Whether that was good or bad, I was just relieved not to have that burdensome role.
‘But why are they all holding their meeting right in front of me…? It feels like they’re deliberately hanging around to show off in front of me.’
I was convinced my suspicion wasn’t just my imagination. They kept coming right up to me in this wide-open space to seriously discuss things, or climbing trees to show off some flashy moves. All of it felt exactly like the kind of behavior people used to pull when they wanted to look good in front of someone they liked back in the original world.
‘…I used to be like that once too, so I can pretty much guess what they’re thinking.’
One girl even came right up to me, complained about the heat, and took her top off. I blushed as I stared at her breasts and her cute, dainty pink nipples. It was a bold move, and honestly, a pretty girl’s chest was enough to make any guy’s heart race. When she noticed me sneaking glances while blushing, she gave me a victorious smile.
That seemed to spur the others on. One after another, they casually stripped off their tops right in front of me.
‘Whoa. I’m living the good life.’
A feast of pink nipples.
After that little incident, we decided to secure drinking water first, following the majority opinion. Fortunately, there were plenty of capable students in the class, so we quickly obtained fresh water. The real problem was the boys who started whining next to me.
At first, they’d just grumbled while watching the girls hanging around me from behind. They’d muttered things like how unlucky I was or how I was sucking up to the girls.
‘Are they badmouthing me right now…?’
While I was thinking that, the boys whispered among themselves before approaching me with obviously fake smiles.
“Class president~ My feet hurt~”
‘…What the hell am I supposed to do about that?’
These dick-bearing brats were acting weak and making pathetic noises, and it made me want to punch them. No, they were clearly much stronger than me, yet they were already complaining about dying. Even I, with my front stats completely fucked except for agility, was still walking just fine.
“Me too~ Walking too much makes my legs cramp~”
“Hnnng~ You want us to drink water we don’t even know the quality of? I only drink high-end stuff like Evian~”
I just stared blankly at them, genuinely unsure what these bastards wanted from me. Then Park Ji-hoon, who at least knew me a little from dealing with me before, came running over and whispered their demands.
“Class president~ Couldn’t you ask the girls to show us guys some ‘consideration’~?”
“…What kind of consideration?”
“You know~ The usual stuff guys get~”
What the hell was that? I had no idea.
‘Do they want me to carry them in a palanquin or something? What kind of consideration are they even asking for?’
We were just walking like we were on a stroll, and thanks to the many capable girls among us, we’d secured water without any trouble. What consideration could possibly be needed here? Since I couldn’t figure it out, I decided to just ignore them outright. I wasn’t about to let myself be swayed by these idiot trolls.
When I brushed off the dick-brats’ words, they grumbled for a while before approaching the girls directly.
“What the fuck are you saying?”
“Consideration my ass, did you lose your damn mind?”
“Oh come on, we found the water and everything, while you guys just followed behind with your hands behind your backs.”
Of course, it didn’t work on the girls at all. The dick-brats just got yelled at and shrank back. But then one of them tried using some bullshit evasion skill.
“No, it’s not us~ The class president said he wanted it~”
“…Really? The class president said that?”
The girls stopped glaring and suddenly changed their attitude as they looked at me. The same girls who’d been calling it bullshit just moments ago were now seriously considering it because I supposedly wanted it. At that sudden shift, the boys gritted their teeth and glared at me. I had no idea what the hell I’d done to earn their resentment.
Fuck these bastards. How dare they glare at me? Go ahead and ruin your image even more.
“No. I didn’t want that. I told the girls not to do it since they’ve already been working hard leading the way and finding water.”
The girls’ eyes toward me turned extremely favorable. It was like they’d been looking at a piece of trash called “male” and suddenly found a pearl instead.
“Haah… Shit. This is why they say looks and personality are proportional.”
“See? I told you. These days, the cute and handsome ones are actually nicer.”
“…Class president, my type exactly…”
Thanks to my good-guy act, even more girls crowded around me. The boys shot me dirty looks, eyes blazing with jealousy. Whatever. What are you gonna do about it?
While we were having our pointless staring contest, several girls who’d been keeping watch on the surroundings suddenly shouted a warning.
“Something’s… coming!”
Shashashashak—
Normally, you’d expect to hear the sound of something moving through the underbrush. But instead, there was only silence as our enemies approached at high speed. In an instant, we found ourselves surrounded.
I looked at them. Pointed ears, smooth white skin, beautiful women. Their waists were slim and their figures slender, yet their large breasts only made them stand out more, with pink nipples. Their hips were wide, and their asses were just as large and beautiful as their chests—perfect for easy childbirth. But they wore nothing to cover their lower halves, leaving their smooth, hairless pussies completely exposed.
Instead of clothes suited for the hot weather, they had subtropical-style body paint and tattoos. These pointed-eared women—beautiful elves with long hair—approached us with bows and spears aimed and ready.
