Hello~ Crocodile Farm 2~. And a Woman's Transformation is Innocent?
With the end of Crocodile Farm 2 slowly drawing near, the server had taken on the bittersweet atmosphere of farewell. Instead of grinding away at projects, everyone had shifted into a mood of simply enjoying the moment. In that atmosphere, the most popular tourist spot by far was Babel Tower.
Babel Tower had barely been visited by anyone until now, and since it felt completely different from the familiar village areas, it made for the perfect sightseeing spot. Of course, after someone leaked that the central passage was blocked off, Rusty received plenty of playful protests demanding he open it.
Everyone spent the remaining time before the server's final tradition—the grand concert—exploring, working on their bases, and enjoying themselves in their own ways. And at last, the concert began.
The opening act was none other than one of the biggest names in the industry: Blackhat.
"Hello~♪ I'm P.I.A.N.O. SaXrus~♪"
A host of skilled singers and streamers known for their cover songs took the stage, delivering an incredible concert that everyone—streamers and viewers alike—enjoyed to the fullest. Singing beautiful songs and sharing that joy with your audience is definitely one of the best parts of being a streamer.
After several performances, the host announced the next act.
The man who's done immeasurable service in curing countless people's low blood pressure! It's Rusty~~~!!!
Rusty stepped onto the stage amid a wave of playful jeers.
"Um… um."
The moment he lightly tested the mic, the other streamers immediately muted themselves. Teasing was one thing, but the song was serious business. After all, Rusty had only ever performed once before in his Thirty-Noona voice, so expectations were sky-high.
Ah… it would be so nice if Thirty-Noona sang something sexy. It would suit her so well…
Those expectations were met when Rusty spoke again.
"Uh… I wasn't planning to do this originally… but one person kept begging me so… well, here we are."
"As many of you probably know… I'll be performing 'Falling Into the Water.'"
Streamers frantically unmuted their mics, each revealing their own hopes. Even those who didn't know the song well caught the excitement from everyone else and grew eager too.
The intro played—doong doong doong~♪ doong doo doong~♪
"I loved you like crazy ♪ We've fought way too much ♪"
As the song properly began, a deep, sexy male voice flowed out. The streamers, forgetting they were supposed to be muted, exploded with unified outrage.
But as the next verse began—
"It rained all day today~ ♪"
—Thirty-Noona's voice poured out.
The enchanting voice that seemed capable of captivating everyone flowed through the song and straight into their ears. Rusty switched freely between the deep male tone and Thirty-Noona's voice, as if two people were truly performing a duet.
When the song finally ended—
Everyone burst into admiration at how effortlessly Rusty handled both male and female voices. After his mesmerizing performance, the concert continued its steady march toward the finale. When every song had been sung—
With this! We conclude the final concert of Crocodile Farm 2~!!
Everyone~ I love you all~~~!!
Once Crocodile Farm 2 shut down, Soyu wrapped up her short after-stream and ended the broadcast. She slumped back in her chair with a heavy sigh.
"Haa……"
It was her first time joining such a massive server event, but it had been incredibly fun. The only problem was—
It was way too immersive…
She had gotten far more absorbed than she expected. Unlike her usual solo streams, she was communicating through voice instead of just chat, and the direct interactions—pranking each other, hitting each other—made it impossible not to lose herself in the experience. Having Rusty, the person she liked, there with her only made it stronger.
Now that the server was truly over, she felt strangely empty, like she couldn't quite accept it.
It feels like I'll wake up tomorrow and still need to log in…
Most streamers who had gotten deeply immersed in large-scale servers had probably felt the same way at least once. Soyu rose from her chair.
This won't do… I need to take a shower and change my mood…
If she stayed still, all sorts of thoughts would flood her head. She headed to the bathroom, took a long shower, and changed into fresh clothes. Her mood improved considerably. While she was at it, she brewed a cup of coffee, sat on the sofa, and took a sip.
She blew on it gently—hoo, hoo—then drank. The smooth coffee aroma brushed past her nose and calmed her heart. Another sip. As she savored the scent with her eyes softly closed, a certain face rose in her mind.
Oppa said he had work today…
They had kept chatting through Discord both during the server event and after the after-stream, but she still missed him. She wanted to see his face, wanted to cling tightly to his arm. She wanted to breathe in his refreshing scent and feel his hand gently stroking her hair.
"Pfft."
A small laugh slipped out. It felt wondrous that she could fall so completely for one person, that she kept discovering new desires she never knew she had. At first he had simply been 'a kind person.' Nothing more, nothing less.
Still, the feeling was good, and from their first meeting and the second that followed, the comfortable atmosphere he created had slowly drawn her in.
I used to firmly reject every man who approached me…
But she hadn't been able to do that with him. She wasn't sure if it was because he was the only one who reached out when she was struggling, or simply because of the uniquely relaxing aura he carried. Either way, back during Babel Town she had only thought of him as seeming like 'a good person.'
Yet when they met again in Wor.G, she had been so happy to see him that even she couldn't understand her own reaction. Her heart would strangely hurt over the smallest words, then melt just as easily over other small words.
Why was I like that back then…
It seemed he had dug far deeper into her heart during Babel Town than she had realized. Her feelings grew every time she saw him until they were almost impossible to understand, yet she had refused to acknowledge them. When she thought she was the only one who felt this way, when she got hurt and smiled bitterly thinking she must be crazy—
Oppa was the first to say he liked me…
He had confessed first. He told her he liked her, and when she got embarrassed and snapped at him, he charged forward without hesitation and stole her soul away. After that, he showed his affection with his entire being, so she no longer needed to hide or suppress her own feelings.
As they poured out their hearts and met each other fully, before they knew it they had gone from simple hand-holding to linking arms, and now—
E-even… kissing… kyaa~~
But how could she possibly resist? The way he expressed 'you're pretty, you're lovely' with his whole body. Those eyes that seemed to drip with honey. The manliness he had shown when the thugs approached. The fact that every bit of it was directed only at her made her incredibly happy.
So when he had kissed her cheek, she had actually been staring at his lips the whole time. Still, kissing on the lips right away felt a little embarrassing, so she had kissed his cheek instead, hoping the next turn would be the lips. Thankfully their hearts were in sync and he had kissed her properly. Whether it was joy that their feelings matched or joy that he understood her heart, she didn't know—but she had unconsciously taken her happy little revenge(?).
Hehehehe.
Every time she recalled that memory, happiness welled up inside her. The softness of those lips, the sweet feeling of the kiss, the joy that had filled her chest. In truth she had wanted to do it longer and deeper, but—
Yeah. No. I'll take it slow… I can't scare Oppa into running away…
Hold back, Soyu. You have to hold back…
Thanks to that previous kiss, the love that had exploded within her was slowly transforming the girl's heart into a woman's.
Next time… hehe~
A woman becomes brave when she falls in love. Of course, sometimes there are those who become just a little too brave.
