Crocodile Farm 2 – Is Kuronyang Actually a Munchkin?
Marvel, the idol streamer affiliated with StarLive. At first, her role-play as a flower fairy made her famous for her pure and elegant image. But one day, after receiving a gift of a robot model, she fell head over heels for them and gradually turned into a full-blown robot otaku. In the end, even her fans accepted it. Her ideal type became robots, she treated male streamers as nothing more than friends, and she was known as “the safest girl.” There were even memes about her small chest being compared to a robot and its battery fusing together. Right now, that very girl was extremely irritated.
It had all started with her precious baby kitten, Soyu.
Because of something that happened to her in the past, Marvel had developed a strong tendency to avoid conflict with others. Even in games, whenever she tried to hit someone, she would unconsciously freeze up and end up getting hit instead. That kind, lovable, and adorable Soyu had been like that.
But then she saw Soyu muttering “Die. Die. Die. Die.” while smashing a man with a pickaxe. At the time, she had felt a slight sense of unease. After binge-watching the VODs of Soyu’s streams, she was now certain.
At least in games, she can hit people now….
Some might say that wasn’t a big deal, but from Marvel’s perspective, it meant Soyu was finally showing a normal reaction. Instead of suppressing her bad feelings, she was expressing them to some degree. That alone suggested Soyu was slowly overcoming the trauma she had carried for so long.
It pisses me off that it’s thanks to that bastard and not me, though….
Still, she had been genuinely happy that her precious and beloved family member was getting better.
…Yes. She had been happy.
At first, she had brought it up casually.
“Kuronyang, want to go grab a drink with me for a bit?”
“A drink?”
“Yeah. We’ve leveled up a lot in fishing and farming, so it’s about time we start raising our combat level too, right?”
“Umm… do we have to?”
Kuronyang didn’t seem particularly interested.
“You know you’ve always had a strong aversion to hitting people, right?”
“Huh? I did?”
When Marvel explained in detail what she had noticed while watching her, Kuronyang looked genuinely shocked, as if hearing it for the first time. Even though it was just a game, whenever she had to hit someone she would dodge instead. She aimed well with guns but hesitated right before pulling the trigger. That was why she looked so clumsy to other players.
“I-I-I’m not clumsy~!”
Kuronyang protested, clearly upset. But surprisingly, she soon admitted it.
“You’re right. You’re not clumsy anymore.”
“Eh?”
Kuronyang blinked blankly, caught off guard by the unexpected response.
“I went back and watched every single one of your VODs…”
Marvel said that when she had watched Kuronyang’s gameplay back during the Babel Tower days, she hadn’t noticed anything strange. But after reading community posts about her evasive movements out of curiosity and checking again, she realized the truth.
“It was real. From what I saw, you were dodging attacks from monsters with dirty patterns and all sorts of different ranges like it was nothing.”
“I was just doing it without thinking…”
After digging deeper into her later gameplay, Marvel continued.
“In War. You shot a gun, even if it was a bot. Right?”
“That was unconscious too…”
“And the decisive moment. You got jealous while I was talking to Rusty and smacked him with a pickaxe. Multiple times.”
“Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!! Kyaa!”
Kuronyang screamed as Marvel dug up one of her dark past moments. She charged forward, swinging her fists as if trying to cover Marvel’s mouth.
Thud. Thud.
Marvel, already in a full set of diamond armor, simply dodged the attacks that felt like nothing more than tickles and kept running.
Thud. Thud.
She dodged…
Thud.
She couldn’t dodge?
…Anyway, Marvel continued speaking even as she took every hit Kuronyang threw at her.
“That’s how I became sure. You don’t hesitate to attack anymore!”
Thud. Thud.
“See? You’re hitting me just fine now.”
Thud. Thud.
“So I thought we could go around together, hunt some mobs, and raise our combat levels. That way you can get used to fighting little by little and—”
Thud. Thud.
Kuronyang was now in a trance, relentlessly beating her. Thanks to that, Marvel’s health was dropping dangerously low.
“Ow! Stop hitting me, you crazy girl! Why did your aim suddenly get so good?”
Thud. Crack.
“Huh?”
“What?”
The armor, which had almost no durability left, shattered. Marvel stopped clicking in surprise, but Kuronyang’s fist was already flying toward her with perfect accuracy, carried by sheer momentum.
Thud.
“Gah!”
Marvel died, dropping all her items.
“Ah…”
“…..”
Both Kuronyang and Marvel froze solid.
“Umm… sorry?”
“………You killed me.”
— lmao lmao lmao Kuronyang killed Marvel
— So now pissed-off Marvel is chasing Kuronyang around trying to kill her
— But Kuronyang is actually insane. She hasn’t taken a single hit lol
— Marvel looks like she’s genuinely raging now?

— Hierarchy is officially established. Marvel under Ku.
— Fr lmao
Rusty, who had just finished the lower floors of Babel Tower and was now working on the interior and mid-level construction, let out a deep sigh.
“What the hell are those two doing…?”
From where he was watching, Kuronyang was running around screaming “Kyaa~ Ahaha~” with a bright smile. (Rusty watched her with a fond grin.) Marvel chased after her, teeth clenched, yelling “If I catch you, you’re dead!!” (At that sight, Rusty’s face soured while the Sanyangdan watching the stream burst into laughter.)
Completely unaware they were being watched, the two girls ran laps around the massive Babel Tower grounds.
“Ugh! Just take one hit! One hit! Just oooone~!”
“Bleh~ You can’t hit me~ Nyahaha~”
The two of them frolicked around energetically.
“I. Am. Going. To. Hit. You. Today. No. Matter. What.”
Every time Marvel swung the sword (!!) in her hand, her words came out in choppy bursts. Just how hard was she clicking…?
Kuronyang, on the other hand, was having the time of her life.
“Kyaa~ Try and catch me~ Ahahaha~”
They ran two full laps around the enormous Babel Tower site. Finally, Rusty couldn’t take it anymore and came down to stop Marvel.
“Hey, hey~ Calm down, lady.”
Marvel froze mid-step at the sudden “lady” comment. Her mind went blank.
Lady? Lady? To this beautiful flower of a woman? Laaaady~?
She almost lost it right then and there but barely held herself together. And then Kuronyang delivered the final blow.
“Hng. Oppa, that cliff(!!!) robot otaku(!!!!) keeps bothering me.”
She hid behind Rusty and whined cutely. The thread of sanity Marvel had been barely clinging to finally snapped.
Crack.
“You… you… you… son of a biiiiitch!!!”
Season 3 Yabal has entered the chat.
“Crap. Fuck. Yabal. Jjajangmyeon.”
…Wait, is this Season 4.5.6.7 now? Entering the chat? Whatever.
“Everyone just diiiiiie!!!”
The couple ran away from the furiously charging Marvel. From a distance, the two of them laughing and fleeing together looked incredibly happy.
“Huff… huff… huff…”
“…”
“…..”
Marvel was panting like she had actually been running around, even though she had only been clicking her keyboard and mouse. Kuronyang and Rusty stared at her in disbelief. Marvel was too busy drowning in self-loathing to care about their gazes.
I couldn’t even land a single hit in the end….
The chat was already flooded with “Marvel under Ku.”
Something feels off… Now that I think about it, what was Soyu like back then?
Marvel dug through her memories. She remembered how proud she had been when Soyu won the elementary school piano competition. How she had acted as Soyu’s manager after getting eliminated early from the middle school tennis tournament while Soyu took first place. How Soyu had protected her from the female bullies in high school.
Oh my god. Fuck. This girl was a munchkin? Why am I only realizing this now?
If it hadn’t been for the traumatic memory of the male delinquents those girls had called over, Soyu would have grown into an even more incredible person. Thinking back on that time, Marvel felt strangely at peace.
Yeah. I deserved to lose. There’s no way I could beat that girl.
More than anything, she was happy to see her former idol slowly regaining her old self after overcoming her trauma. She smiled warmly as she recalled memories of Soyu, who had needed her care for so long because of that trauma…
“Oppa. Marvel’s acting weird. She died while standing up.”
“It’s fine. She probably realized how pathetic she is. Just leave her be. She’ll come back eventually, right?”
She smiled…
“What should we do? Just leave her like this?”
“Yeah. Let her sort out her thoughts. Want to go check out the tower? I finished the lower floor interior.”
She smiled……
“Really? I want to see it!”
“Sure. Let’s go.”
………
“Hehe. I’m so excited~”
“It’s going to look really cool once you go inside. I even made a room just for you, Kuronyang.”
Fuck…
“Wow~ Really? Thank you, oppa~”
“Hahaha! Just tell me anything! I’ll make it all for you! Hahahaha!”
Dear Lord. Sending two more souls up to you today.
“Fuck. Everyone diiiie!! Couple hell~~~!!!”
After that day, rumors spread of eerie screams echoing from beneath the massive tower.
