Chapter 17: Time for a Scolding
The pre-dawn road was deserted. I floored the accelerator before the light even turned green. The car was quiet inside. Glancing at the passenger seat, Ayoung sat with her head bowed low. She'd changed back into the black clothes she'd thrown on from home when we left the hotel. She'd begged me desperately—what if Woochan wakes up?—so I'd let her. Instead, she cradled the shopping bag with the outfit I'd bought her, folded away like a treasure in her arms.
It was past 2 a.m., and Ayoung's eyes had finally glazed over completely; she couldn't move anymore. Any longer, and she'd pass out, so I pulled over. Now reality was crashing back down on her, cold and hard. The lies she'd told her son to sleep with his friend. The expensive clothes hugged to her lap. She knew it had all been her choice. That's why she kept avoiding my gaze, mortified and ashamed. But unlike before, there was no fear or disgust on her face. She was just lost in the lingering afterglow of happiness as a woman. It was kinda cute, watching her struggle to snap back into mom mode.
I parked on the road in front of the rental apartment complex.
"Alright, head on in."
Ayoung slowly lifted her face. She peeked at me cautiously, gauging my eyes, then opened her mouth hesitantly.
"Thank you. You must be... tired. Drive safe."
She grabbed the shopping bag and reached for the door handle. I yanked her arm, pulling her back.
"Hold up."
Her body tilted toward the driver's seat. Her startled face came close. I wrapped her in and went for her lips.
"Mmph...!"
Ayoung's mouth stiffened, then parted carefully. Her tongue slipped out on its own, tracing my lips. Smack, smack. It was a short kiss. When I pulled away, she was breathing hard. Her half-open mouth trembled, her upturned eyes shaking. Her pulled-close body quivered faintly. The look on her face screamed she wanted more, no hiding it.
I grinned lazily.
"Get inside before Woochan wakes up."
She flinched at that. She jerked back, slipping from my grasp.
"O-okay..."
Clutching the gifted clothes to her chest, she opened the car door. She stepped out, paused, and turned back to me.
"I'll... text you."
Her earlobes flushed at my casual farewell. She nodded curtly and hurried into the apartment complex with quick steps. Her black-clad back shrank into the pre-dawn darkness. I checked the dashboard clock. 5:30 a.m. No point heading home now—I'd crash and miss school for sure. With Grandpa already on my case about attendance, skipping entirely would be a hassle. So I drove straight to school, parked, headed to the classroom, and face-planted on my desk. The moment my eyes closed, echoes of Ayoung's tearful moans from all night lingered in my ears, but exhaustion hit faster.
Tap, tap. The desk rattling woke me.
"Jinho. You've been passed out since earlier. Sit up."
Unfamiliar voice. Low, clear, firm tone. I rubbed my sleepy eyes and looked up. A woman stared down at me. Straight forehead under thick brows, eyes piercing lightly. Lips pressed thin. Sharp impression, no softness anywhere.
"Haa... yeah."
My voice was still thick with sleep. Stretching, I glanced around—the classroom was full of students. The blackboard was crammed with equations; class had been going for a while. Her brows twitched slightly at my reaction, a mix of annoyance and disbelief flashing across her face before she turned back to the board.
My eyes followed her retreating figure. Under the crisp blouse, a slim waist tapered in, and the suit skirt hugged an ass that swayed subtly with each step. Big for her frame. The suit only accentuated its curves. Guys' stares from around the room weren't on the board—they were glued to that ass. She picked up the chalk and continued the equations. As her writing arm rose, the blouse pulled tight, revealing her sleek side profile. Intellectual face with that body? Even after pounding Ayoung all night, my gut stirred.
I propped my chin, staring at the board. Equations? Not registering. A teacher with a body like that? She shouldn't be allowed. Ruining the class focus and all. Time for a scolding.

Class ended, break time. I poked the back of the girl in the front seat with my finger.
"Eek...!"
She spun around with a weird squeak, face paling in fear when she saw me. Freckles dusted her nose, eyes huge like a rabbit's behind thick glasses. Like I'd eat her alive? Nah, wouldn't touch you with a ten-foot pole.
"Hey. Who was that teacher just now?"
"Wh-who?"
"The one who taught."
"Math teacher?"
"Math, huh?"
"Y-yeah... that was math."
I hadn't noticed. Wasn't paying attention.
"She's the math teacher, Kim Jinhee."
"Kim Jinhee?"
"Yeah."
I rolled the name around in my mouth. Kim Jinhee. It rang a faint bell. The girl started inching back around.
"Hey!"
"Eep...!"
Her panicked spin back was hilarious. Totally cowed.
"Sit up straight. Can't see past you."
"O-okay."
Her face screamed wrong guy to mess with. Hesitant, but she straightened her back obediently. Kinda matches Woochan. Maybe hook 'em up. Time to play sweet stepdad, looking out for the kid. Bonus: more time alone with mom.
"Do better next time."
"Y-yeah..."
I left the teary front-seater and face-planted again. After all classes, I called Ayoung.
"When do you get off?"
Her whisper came faint through the receiver, laced with fear of being overheard.
"Uh... afternoon shift today, so 10 p.m."
"Cool. I'll pick you up."
"N-no... if I keep leaving the house..."
"Quick date."
"...Okay."
She'd cave anyway, playing coy. 9 p.m., at Ayoung's place during Woochan's tutoring.
"Tired. Heading out."
"Okay, drive safe."
"Your mom's late today."
"Afternoon shift."
"Yeah? Tell her I had fun."
Woochan nodded, then remembered something.
"Oh, right."
"Yeah?"
"Starting next week, afternoons I'll be at gosi prep, so tutoring might be tough."
"Gosi class?"
"Yeah."
"Civil service? I'll get you a job."
"B-but if I pass on my own, wouldn't it be easier for you to place me?"
"What, that's it?"
"Yeah."
He scratched his head sheepishly. Not just relying on me—he wanted to hustle too. Makes sense; with mom grinding for him, he should step up.
"Fine, go for it."
I slipped on my shoes and left. Still an hour left. Drove to the mart lot. At 10, employees flooded out the back entrance. Uncles with vests slung over arms, aunties dragging bags. Amid them, one stood out—young, a total babe. Ayoung. She scanned around, confirmed no stares, and hurried to my car. Seeing the coast clear, she yanked open the passenger door and hopped in.
"You finished early."
Her face flushed at my words.
"C-can we go quick? What if someone sees?"
"You embarrassed?"
"N-not that, but..."
I grabbed her chin and pulled her in. Lips met; no resistance, mouth opened. Tongue in, hers wrapped around it welcomingly. She was getting good at this, natural now. Slurp. Pulled back; she panted.
"Haa..."
Her upturned eyes filled with slow-building anticipation.
"Said you had to get home early, right?"
"Yeah."
"Then we'll do it in the car."
"B-but here?"
"No time."
Her mouth shut. No comeback. I wasn't planning to anyway—started the engine and peeled out. Vroom. Exhaust roared; a few employees turned. Ayoung shrank, head down. I chuckled and hit the gas.
Pulled into a dim alley near the apartments. No streetlights. Crumbling walls on both sides, deserted. Killed the engine; darkness swallowed the car. Heavy tint—nobody outside could see in. Her tense breaths came close, worried but excited.
"In the car... what if someone sees?"
"Let 'em watch."
"No...!"
Before she finished, I hit the passenger recline. Seat dropped back; her body tilted. I straddled her over her wide-open mouth. Knees wedged between her thighs on the narrow seat. Pressed my lips down on hers.
"Haht... mmph...!"
First kiss, she'd clenched her teeth. Now her tongue met mine eagerly. Smooch, slurp. Saliva mixed, wet sounds filling the tight space. Breath fogged the windows milky white. Her hands rose, gripping my shirt front, pulling me closer. Smack, slurp. Undid her shirt buttons while kissing. Each one popped, her breaths hitched short. Faded shirt revealed not plain white—pale lace bra. Fancier than before.
Pulled lips away, looked down.
"Pretty underwear today."
Her face burned red at the praise. Picking it out for me, huh. Spread the shirt wide, shoved it off her shoulders. Pushed the bra up; tits spilled out. Pale glow even in the dark. Palms down—soft flesh overflowed between fingers.
"Ngh...!"
She swallowed, eyes shut, laid back on the reclined seat. Nipples hardened under my palm. Pinched between thumb and finger, rolled slow. Her head arched; thin breaths leaked.
"Haa... nghh...!"
Kissed again. Shoved tongue deep, tugged the nipple—her back bowed off the seat. Bare skin pressed hot against my chest. Sweat or heat, sticky everywhere we touched. Muffled moans vibrated in my mouth. Smack, smack. Her hands left my shirt, gripped the side handle knuckles-white. Elbow bumped the door panel; she didn't notice. Breaths grew ragged between kisses.
I slid my hand down without breaking. Yanked panties aside, slipped fingers in. Slid right into the slit—already soaked from kissing alone.
"Heut...!"
Short tremor from her mouth. Thighs clenched reflexively, then stopped. Spread wider on her own, welcoming. Two fingers along the folds, stroked up slow. Juices slicked my fingers. Index hit her clit—hips bucked.
"Haah...!"
Sealed car amplified the moan. She raised her hand to stifle, then stopped. Realizing it was just us, her trembling hand returned to the handle. I ramped it up at her reaction. Circled and rubbed the clit; thighs clenched and released inside. Juices overflowed palm, trailed inner thighs to the leather seat.
"Heut... haht... there... haht...!"
Her hand left the handle, covered my wrist. Wrapped around my hand, pressing down harder.
