I only cursed at a shitty ending, but
I have a hobby I can’t tell anyone about.
It’s reading romance fantasy novels.
Of course, this genre is aimed at women. Yeah. The main readership isn’t men, it’s women.
Well, it doesn’t matter who reads it, there’s no rule against it, but still, you get it, right? It’s kind of embarrassing to say out loud.
I’ve been like this since I was young. When I heard girls around me saying things like, “Did you watch Dream Light Patissier?” my mouth would start itching to speak. I wanted to join in too.
“This is fucking ridiculous.”
But recently, the novel I was reading ended with an absolutely dogshit conclusion.
Out of nowhere, with no reason at all, it went, “Happily ever after, happily ever after~ all is well, all is well!” and then on the very next page it ended with, “The world has ended.”
What kind of ending is that supposed to be?
“I killed the demon king, so why did the world end?”
There’s a saying, isn’t there? Ruining the process makes you third-rate. Ruining the ending makes you first-rate.
That bastard, unfortunately, was first-rate.
“Fuck this…”
I tried to calm my anger and force myself to sleep.
“Haa…”
It took about three hours before I finally managed to fall asleep.
“Uwaah?”
