The Elf Fell into the 'Backrooms'. (1)
A creepy space with not a hint of life anywhere you looked. Faded yellow wallpaper, the buzzing fluorescent lights humming in your ears. A damp carpet covering the entire floor. Silvia had ended up trapped in this monotonous space devoid of windows or structures.
Yudong Goe-i Erosion Has Begun.
In spaces eroded by Yudong Goe-i, the powers of the affected gallery user are restricted.
No weapons of any kind can be used in this space.
"What the...?"
She couldn't hide her bewilderment. Of course not. She'd been slurping down some ramen when the floor suddenly gave way, teleporting her to this bizarre space. And now, on top of that, she'd been weakened to the level of a mere human.
Pewng-
No magic worked at all. Not even a simple fireball. The mana that had filled her body vanished the moment she arrived here. She was essentially an empty shell right now.
Swipe.
"...Anyway, what the hell is this place? It feels kinda different from the spaces those Yudong Goe-i eroded before..."
This place filled her vision completely. It had a totally different vibe from the 500-Million-Year Button space she'd seen up until now. No, she was certain of it. It was way too different.
If the 500-Million-Year Button space was just an empty void with nothing at all, this place seemed designed to deliberately wear down the mind with everything you saw and felt.
Especially...
Wooong- Wooong-
That fluorescent hum that resonated right into her brain, driving a person insane. Before she knew it, she was staring blankly at one spot, fixating on the noise more and more.
She shuddered, shaking her head vigorously.
"...Hoo, get it together, mind. This isn't the time. My body's weakened, and now my mind is too."
For now, she decided to start walking. Staying put like this might really drive her mad. If that happened, she'd turn into a Yudong Goe-i herself. She couldn't let that happen. Not after surviving this long.
Either way, right now, her only option was to find an exit.

The good thing is, being trapped in a space isn't that scaryeyoung. After all the time I've endured, you think this would faze me?eyoung. So don't worry about me, guys.
The problem is this noise echoing in the room—it's so annoyingeyoung. Kinda dizzy already...
-But drhwang was legit insane, tanking corruption not just blocking it but absorbing it lol top-tier tank
-Wish she'd get dragged again smh
— Nanjangi Suljujeong: What do you mean dragged again, you jokgan bastards!!!
— Mind fucked tsk tsk
— Byeong-yak Misoo Nyeo Ma-wang Jjang: Even just seeing the pic makes my stomach churn a bit...
— 9 Sseokeul Dae-mabeopsa: What if Jokpr turns into a Yudong Goe-i too???
— Nanjangi Suljujeong: Who's gonna stop that shit we're all fucked
— Eokgal crumbles that day yeah
— Might actually become Jokgan Hak-salja whoa
— But then jokgans are really screwed;;
— Gotta save her somehow... not cuz I'm a jokgan or anything yeah
If weapons don't work either can't use kenjutsu whoa
Just think of her as a regular jokgan now
Not just her, but the other gallery users were starting to question the space too. No trace of humans anywhere. Not even basic furniture in this place, so no clue how to get out.
No helpful comments, just speculation flying around. Then the Juttak replied below.
"Back... rooms?"
A word she'd never heard before. But whatever it was, the fact that someone knew this place spread hope through her like wildfire. He was the only one who could truly understand her right now.
Color returned to Silvia's face for the first time since arriving. Yeah, maybe the Juttak could get her out of here. If he kept acting like he had been.
A moment later, the Juttak posted a new thread.
To escape the Backrooms, noclipping is the only way.
So what is noclipping? Simply put, it's an exit created by a glitch.
Problem is, it appears at random times and places, super hard to find;;
Wait for it or search yourself.
Key is how to spot it. Like, something that doesn't fit the surroundings suddenly appears.
Or the space glitches out with static.
These are the signs—only two cases, don't forget.
She tore her eyes from the post and scanned around immediately.
"Something that doesn't fit, or a glitching spot like an error..."
No matter how she looked, nothing like what the Juttak described. Still just the creepy space. Probably no noclipping nearby. Maybe it hadn't spawned yet. Or she just hadn't found it. Looked like she'd have to walk more.
Bro.
That instant.
"...What."
Nothing behind her when she turned. It'd been like that for a while. The creepy feeling like someone was following her, sending chills down her spine.
Thump. Thump.
Her heart raced. Breathing grew ragged, sweat beading on her palms. She'd confirmed nothing was there, but the unease wouldn't shake.
"Hoo... Better hurry just in case..."
Step. Step. Step. Step. Step. Step.
The more she walked, the weirder it got. Endless space, kept moving, but what should be a new area ahead just looped familiar ones. Stopped thinking it was a path she'd passed—no, other routes led to the same scenery.
Frustrating. No, growing anxious. Same repeating space, vibe, that ear-ringing hum.
Woooong-
The buzzing felt worse now. Was her mind crumbling in this endless space? Still, she couldn't stop. All she could do was press forward.
Halt-
Blindly walking, she reached a narrow gap where walls met. Barely wide enough for one person.
She recalled what the Juttak said about noclipping.
"No way, is that it?!"
Thinking she'd escape soon, she slipped inside. Emerged into another long corridor. At its end, a room that looked new.
Clatter-
Shudder.
"......What the hell."
Empty room save for one bookshelf. Unlike the faded yellow outside, this seemed decent. But that wasn't the shock.
Cryptic messages and drawings on the walls. Even text in unknown script. Looked like escape hints, but off.
The Juttak said escape via noclipping. Yet the drawings showed something else.
"Meet a human in black clothes and they'll let you out, something like that?"
Maybe to give false relief. Or lure prey deeper. No one knew. She had to judge.
"...No. Juttak wouldn't lie."
Thinking it over, this wasn't a noclipping spot. He said only two cases.
"Come to think... the buzzing's quieter again."
Since entering, her foggy mind cleared. Breathing steadied, sweat stopped.
Her eyes caught the bookshelf. One worn book inside.
Swipe.
Slowly pulled it out, checked the cover. Not thin, not thick. What was inside?
"Hoo..."
Deep breath, about to open it slowly.
"......!!"
Snapped the book shut at the sudden voice. Thought she'd misheard. First other voice in forever—not hers.
"H-Hey, is anyone... there?"
Polite speech slipped out unconsciously. Brief silence.
"Me... no, I'm here!! Who are you!!"
Yelled mixing polite and casual. Reply was...
Just repeating. No answer to her question.
Entered some room and now a jokgan voice from outsideeyoung. Keep asking who it is but just begs for help—is that how all jokgans areeyoung?
Then Juttak's messages popped up in a row.
"KIIEEEEEEEEEEK──!!!!!!"
"......!!"
> Kim Eok-bung: It's a Yudong Goe-i.
