My Little Sister Is Fucked
'My little sister is fucked.' Those were the first three words that came to mind after I woke up from fainting. A heavy body that seemed to ooze broth, a plump and greasy face. It was exactly the same no matter how many times I looked. This was the body of Cian Brace, the infamous villain from the game Ariel.
'Fuck, why did it have to be this bastard of all people...!'
Usually, isn't it the other way around? I'd left comments saying I was going to give Cian a proper education, so shouldn't I have possessed the protagonist Cain's body? That was the standard pattern.
'How the hell am I supposed to live now...'
I looked around with a dazed expression. A wide, luxurious room. The bed I was currently lying on was big enough for at least three people, and the room itself was spacious enough to hold it without feeling cramped. There was a brazier for temperature control, decorative vases, and curtains around the bed. At a glance, it screamed the room of a wealthy noble.
'Heh heh heh. At least the house is nice.'
I was snickering like an idiot, denying reality, when the door to the room suddenly burst open.
“...Oh my!”
The person who entered was a maid in uniform. She was holding a basin and a wet towel in both hands. Had she been ordered to nurse me?
“Your Grace! The young master has woken up!”
She looked startled for a moment upon seeing me awake, then immediately called out and hurried down the hallway. The duke she mentioned must be Pablo, the father of the Cian I'd possessed.
'Heh heh heh. Whatever. I don't care anymore.'
Let things happen as they would. I stayed half-propped up in bed, just staring blankly and letting out a hollow laugh.
“So you’re awake.”
A short while later, the man who appeared to be my father, Pablo, entered the room accompanied by three maids. Even though he only spoke one sentence, a serious and solemn atmosphere instantly filled the space. His expression was utterly grave, as if announcing he was a cold-blooded man, and he had the face of a rigid, middle-aged handsome man who looked like he’d never cracked a joke in his life.
“So, what happened this time? Why did you faint?” he asked coldly.
His tone was far from pleased. Did he dislike the original owner of this body, Cian? His voice carried a chill that didn’t sound like it came from a father at all.
'Even I would feel my heart shatter if I had a son like this good-for-nothing.'
“...Why aren’t you answering? What was the reason for your fainting?”
Pablo frowned and pressed me. Even if he asked why I fainted... I couldn’t exactly say, I possessed your son’s body and fainted from the shock.
But I couldn’t drag this out any longer. If I didn’t answer now, I’d definitely get dragged into something annoying. I didn’t fully understand the current situation yet, but I’d put that aside for now and give a vague reply.
“Well... I was in pain.”
“In pain?”
“Yes. I had unexplained stomach pain since last night, and it suddenly got so bad that I lost consciousness for a moment.”
“......”
Even I knew it was a ridiculous answer, but there was no other excuse for suddenly fainting. There were no external injuries on my body, so the only possible excuse was an internal one. Still, if I said I fainted from that much pain, what could he do about it?
“...Pathetic. After you ate that much last night.”
Pablo looked down at me with eyes full of contempt.
“I’ll try to eat less from now on.”
“Eating less won’t solve anything about that body of yours.”
“Yes. That’s why I plan to start exercising as well.”
“...What did you say?”
Pablo flinched slightly, looking surprised as he asked again. What? Did I say something wrong? He suddenly stared straight into my eyes. A brief silence fell over the room.
I kept quiet, unsure what to say in this incomprehensible situation. Then Pablo spoke to me in a strange tone.
“...Odd.”
Pablo tilted his head.
“Did you hit your head when you fainted and fall?”
“Pardon?”
What was this? Some new kind of provocation? When I stared at him blankly, not understanding, Pablo gestured and spoke again.
“Never mind. Go rest. But keep your word about exercising from now on.”
“Understood.”
Pablo turned his back and walked out of the room first. The three maids who had followed him also trailed after. As they left, they whispered among themselves.
“That good-for-nothing young master... doesn’t he seem different after fainting?”
“Right? His speech is clearer, and his eyes look sharper...”
“Did he really hit his head when he fainted?”
They were clearly talking about me, but they had already moved too far away for me to catch everything.
I sat on the edge of the bed and looked out the window. The duke’s garden was filled with blue flowerbeds. Beyond it, the village unfolded with a familiar sight. Beautiful scenery and buildings straight out of medieval Western Europe, along with a peaceful-looking village. These were definitely the landscapes I’d seen while playing Ariel.
Only then did it truly hit me. I had really possessed a body inside the game world of Ariel.
Suddenly, curiosity struck me. Unable to hold back, I reached out into the empty air and shouted.
Status Window
“......”
Nothing happened. 'Why isn’t it working?'
Was it because the game had become reality? Did that mean a game that turned real was no longer a game? It was a bit annoying that the status window wouldn’t open. In the game, I used to open it constantly like an OCD patient to check my condition...
I needed to know my strength, agility, vitality, and most importantly, my mana stats to decide what kind of class to grow into. But if I couldn’t see them, what was I supposed to do?
Until I found a way back to the real world, I had to adapt to this one. That meant the first thing to do was to train and grow stronger.
'Even if this is the body of a worthless scoundrel, there must be some talent hidden somewhere.'
Ariel was a game with excellent character balance. Every character had their own given talents, and their starting stats were well-balanced, so no matter who you raised, the difference wasn’t huge.
...Whether that applied to a villain NPC like this scoundrel of a young master, I wasn’t sure. But since it was such a meticulously crafted game, there was a high chance even a villain character whose only role was to interfere with the protagonist had properly distributed stats.
'Should I try meditating?'
Meditation was originally used to recover stamina or purge toxins from the body... But since the status window wouldn’t open, I had no way of knowing how high this body’s Danjeon level was. So I needed to use meditation to at least gauge my mana sensitivity.
“Huu...”
I copied exactly how characters meditated in the game. Sitting in the lotus position with my eyes closed, I breathed slowly in and out, trying to feel the mana inside my body.
Then it happened.
-Shuuuu.
'Oh...!'
I felt something. A formless sensation, like something flowing from my Danjeon. 'Is this what mana feels like?!'
The sensation grew clearer until it began to swirl at one point. It was the feeling of mana gathering from the Danjeon. But that only lasted a moment.
'Huh...? What’s going on?'
The swirling flow of mana that had been gathering suddenly drained out completely, like air escaping a balloon. The problem was coming from the Danjeon itself. It felt like there was a small hole in the Danjeon that was supposed to contain the mana, letting all the circulating energy leak out. It was like pouring water into a bottomless jar.
Before long, my meditation completely broke, and I opened my eyes.
'...There’s definitely something wrong with this body I possessed.'
Being unable to circulate mana in the Danjeon was fatal. Without mana circulation, you couldn’t convert mana energy into magical power. That meant you couldn’t use magic.
'The body’s already a complete mess, and now the Danjeon is broken too!'
It was utterly hopeless. So the reason the original Cian, the scoundrel who tormented the protagonist, had joined the swordsmanship department was because he couldn’t use magic? Even if he joined the sword department, without the ability to use mana, he could never become a proper swordsman...
What would happen if a lightsaber clashed with a wooden practice sword? The wooden sword would snap cleanly in two without a sound. The difference between someone who could enhance their physical abilities with mana operation and wrap their blade in it, versus someone who just swung a plain sword, was like heaven and earth.
That was why even the greatest sword masters, even if they weren’t mages, had incredible proficiency with their Danjeon...
'No wonder he felt inferior to the protagonist... The son of a duke couldn’t even use mana, while the protagonist from a fallen baron family had a natural talent for mana operation...'
It all made sense now. The original owner of this body, that bastard Cian... He really must have lived a completely hopeless life. A body that could never dream of becoming a high-level swordsman, nor even a mage. The only thing he had going for him was being the son of a duke. That was probably why he just ate, played, and didn’t care about anything. Since he couldn’t grow anyway, he must have given up completely. That’s how his body ended up in this state.
Heh heh.
A laugh mixed with mockery slipped out before I could stop it.
'Yeah. You really lived a hopeless life.'
But I was different. I knew the answer. I was Jian, the top-ranked degenerate player in Ariel. A hole in the Danjeon? That wasn’t a big problem for me.
I already had an idea of what my first task should be. The possession had gone a bit wrong, but since it had come to this, I might as well enjoy the game in real life.
I lifted my heavy body and walked out of the duke’s residence.
“Huk, hook, huk.”
I ran like a madman. It had already been two hours since I started running. This was my twentieth lap around the spacious mansion grounds. Every muscle in my body was screaming.
With each step, the heavy fat clinging to my sluggish body jiggled back and forth.
'Fuck... Just how much did this guy eat his whole life...!'
But I wasn’t the type to surrender to a body like this. I’d keep running until the fat burned off. Because I was Jian. If I said I’d do it, I did it.
As I was vigorously running around the Brace ducal estate, the maids who saw me widened their eyes in shock and whispered among themselves.
“What’s going on...? The young master is exercising...?”
“Did his brain get fat too and drive him crazy...?”
...I can hear you, you idiots.
Just how bad must Cian’s reputation have been for them to react like this over him simply running? He must have been an unimaginable piece of trash. Well, seeing how he used to chase after every girl in the academy and harass the protagonist, I could roughly imagine how he acted at home too.
“Huk, huk, huk...”
I shook off the stray thoughts and focused solely on running. Muscles that hadn’t been used in ages were suddenly being worked, screaming in protest. But my mind felt clear. The more my body suffered, the clearer my head became. The chafing between folds of fat stung with every step, but there was nothing I could do about that.
“Shiiit... huk huk...”
As I ran with desperate determination, gasping for breath, I saw a girl with the same hair color as mine, styled in twin tails, walking toward me.
