Prologue - Prism Arts, My Life
There was a game called Prism Arts.
It was a 100% domestically produced Korean game developed by Irisia Studio after a decade of development. Rumor had it that it was modeled after some popular overseas title.
The game's greatest strength was its unparalleled freedom.
There was a nominal story, sure.
But no one who played the game actually enjoyed the story.
At launch, the game felt shockingly thin and bland compared to its long development time.
The file size was massive, yet the main storyline was ridiculously short, and there weren't even any worthwhile subplots.
The high freedom was the only selling point, but beyond wandering around a virtual Korea, there wasn't much else to do.
Unsurprisingly, reviews tanked, and it seemed doomed with no chance of recovery.
Then came a single patch and a single DLC that completely turned things around.
Mod support and a new DLC pack.
The first DLC was anything but ordinary.
Everyone thought it was just a high-freedom open-world game, but nope—the debut DLC unlocked full 19+ adult content.
Unlocking adult features, plus official mod support.
Suddenly, every puzzle piece of Prism Arts clicked into place.
Everyone realized what Irisia Studio had been aiming for all along.
This game... was a god-tier masterpiece.
After that, a flood of mods poured in.
Mods that added more romanceable heroines,
mods that uniformly upgraded character designs,
mods adding new positions,
mods boosting affection gain rates,
mods introducing a magic system tailored for that specific purpose,
and mods packing in all sorts of toys and tools.
As if pouring fuel on the fire, Irisia Studio dropped another DLC adding full isekai elements.
Before long, no trace remained of the original open-world adventure game.
Prism Arts had truly become Korea's undisputed king of eroge.
And for me...
Prism Arts was my life.
