True Completion Afterword

December 31, 2025.
That was the day I first began serializing I Picked Up an F-Rank and Raised It to S-Rank, Now It’s Obsessed.
And today.
July 26, 2026.
I have been serializing for roughly eight months.
For me, this is the first novel on Novelpia that actually produced results.
It was the first work where I felt I had grown a little as a writer.
And it was a work full of twists and turns.
What I regret most of all is…
I should have kept the original tone and direction from the beginning.
Why on earth… did I insist on forcing a story and twisting the direction?
That still bothers me deeply.
Even so, I tried my best to give it a proper ending that felt complete.
Since things had already gone this way—if I was going to build a story, I would write it all the way to the end!
But the closer I got to the finale, the more my schedule began to waver.
Those of you who have followed along the whole time will know.
Across more than 170 chapters, I never missed a single day.
Yet as the ending approached, writing grew harder and harder.
This is not an excuse. It is the truth.
Is ending it like this the right choice?
Will the readers be satisfied with this kind of conclusion?
Is this really the best I can do?
And another non-excuse that is still an excuse… the truth is, I had an accident that injured one of my eyes.
Because of that, I could no longer write with the same intensity as before.
I actually lost the vision in one eye…
And when I reached the final romance arc, an even greater regret set in.
If only I had woven those romance scenes into the combat arcs here and there instead.
Would it have felt more dramatic?
That lingering regret remains.
From now on, when I begin a new serialization, I will take these shortcomings and the lessons I learned and apply them.
I will do my best to become a better writer.
I will strive to become an author who writes more entertaining stories and writes them well.
