Seika × Rion: First Experience (1)
A handful of illustrators under Team Lilac worked their tablet pens without pause, as if they were etching magic circles into the air.
The promo staff chanted despairing little spells under their breath—"I hate overtime…," "I want to go home…"—and hammered their keyboards just as fast.
Leaving on time was already a lost cause. All that remained was the collective prayer of a dozen people: at least get us out of here today. And before a few hours had passed, as if by real magic, a high-quality promo graphic went live on Team Lilac's official account.
"Hey! I Can Do Excel Too!"
The moment the collab promo hit Y, it sprouted wings and started flying across the internet.
Rumors that had already been drifting through the communities caught fire the second Team Lilac's official account posted the notice.
For smoother production, Rion and Seika will each go live on their own streams, with a relay feed also broadcasting on Team Lilac's official channel.
Theories started swirling that the long-stable four-member lineup might finally be shifting. And the number of people who found a Seika collab after years of silence nothing short of bizarre only kept growing.
Questions about Rion and Seika's relationship never stopped. Neither did the ones asking whether Team Lilac was about to sign Rion.
Legal and Mio had been crystal clear, so the promo team answered none of them.
— Collab tonight at 11
— Seika's firing up Excel and getting taught by Rion
— Notice went up ten minutes ago
— Rion. You've made it, kid!
— The one who got modded in Rion's stream yesterday and started cooking chat lore
— Day-two stream and she's already single-handedly directing traffic
— Says they're logging W/L and champs per game
— Seika drives, Rion watches the Excel screen and coaches
— Lilac café main page
— Jijijik partner banner
— Official account pinned post
— Even Seika's personal account, all at once
— Outside Lilac members she almost never does solo collabs
— Outside collabs only happen for tournaments or company schedule
— She's turned down most Arc pro collabs too;
— The teacher is a day-two no-name streamer lmao
— No idea what the angle even is
For a while the galleries were nothing but Rion bait, chain-reacting off itself.
A first stream that hammered "save your work" dozens of times. The deranged math that claimed you profit every time you eat jeyuk by subtracting labor cost. A second stream that blocked some office worker's overtime and earned fifty thousand won for it. A broadcast incident that flashed part of a real name on the payment screen.
No matter what story you heard, it was impossible to figure out what this person actually was—so the galleries just kept feeding on themselves, the bait swelling larger by the hour.
— First stream titled "Excel Broadcast," actually taught Excel
— No-name who briefly ruled the gallery off last time's jeyuk rice bowl bait
— Argued jeyuk rice costs 4,466 won, then subtracted her own labor to make it negative
— Excel sub currently expired → main content is dead
— Partial name leak
— So much bait flying around even calling every mod wouldn't fix it
— If Rion freezes, everyone take your hands off the keyboard and wait, she says
— She can't freeze her own chat so she's just telling us to shut up??
— Seika solo collab
— Collab partner is a deep-sea VTuber who teaches Excel
— They're making a match history sheet, so this bitch's "I won every master-disciple match" lies are about to go public
People browsing the galleries while parked in Seika's pre-stream room thought for a second the broadcast had gone dark.
On the black screen sat a single line of text.
— This insane woman Seika went live then full-sent a host into the waiting room??
— Rion still not connected
"…Huh?"
