“Then, shall I play a game for your content?”
“Eh? What game?”
“Well, I have every game you want—racing, rhythm games, VR games. For racing, you can use the steering wheel, accelerator, and clutch to make it feel like actual driving.”
“Wow. I’ve seen similar arcade machines before, but this one is fully set up?”
“Of course, it’s in a separate game room.”

I followed Shinye noona with Mina. Since the game is the main focus, it would be fun if Mina came along too.

I had seen similar games in arcades before but never actually played one.
It was expensive too, and with that money I could buy chocolate.

“To start the game, press this green button.”

I pressed the green button as Shinye noona instructed.
Pressing the accelerator made the car go forward, and braking stopped it. What was that arrow?
“What’s this arrow for?”
“Oh, you don’t need it in the beginner version. From intermediate level you have to use turn signals, and advanced level requires manual gear too.”
“Oh, turn signals. You don’t need them in beginner level?”
As Shinye noona said, I decided not to worry about the turn signals.
I stepped on the accelerator and sped down the road. My car eventually crashed into the car ahead at high speed.
Because the machine was realistic, I felt a big vibration.
Suddenly an accident happened, and a horn blared from the front car along with the sound of the driver, who seemed to be a man, getting out.

The reason I crashed was because I had stepped too hard on the accelerator.
So if I drove slowly it would be fine.
I decided to challenge the game again.
I pressed start and this time stepped on the accelerator very gently.
Because I was stepping slowly, I heard beeping from behind.
It slightly annoyed me, but I decided not to care.
Fortunately I met a passenger waiting to board at the spot ahead.
I stopped at the passenger’s location, picked them up, and set off again.
Once the passenger was in, an arrow appeared in the direction I needed to go, and as I drove that way it felt like I was taking the passenger to their destination.

When the red light appeared I hurriedly stepped on the brake and stopped a full two meters away from the stop line.
Still, no accident, so it was fortunate. When the blue light turned on I slowly drove forward.
Forward… slowly, leisurely forward.
But I could only go straight and right turns and couldn’t do left turns, so time ran out and the passenger’s anger gauge kept rising.
After many twists and turns I somehow circled only straight and right turns and finally reached the passenger’s destination.
I boldly demanded taxi fare from the passenger.
Then the passenger started cursing at me, and that was when the fight began.
Police eventually arrived and it was concluded that I was at fault.
Normally it would take only 10 minutes, but it took over an hour, I was late for the appointment time, and I even made the passenger waste their time, so I had to pay compensation.
In the end I was fired from the taxi company and the game ended with an unemployed ending.
