Traveler: Derek Walker 18
“Foolish humans! Feel the wrath of mighty nature!”
The Black Ent, charred black as coal, swung its massive arm at us. The lush green forest had turned into a cradle of death filled with scorched ashes. It looked just like a scene from a horror movie.
The revived Black Ent's attribute was earth. The polar opposite of the fire attribute we'd used before. No matter that we'd cleared this stage with ease on our first run through—this was no time to get complacent.
“Your flames can no longer harm us! Foolish humans who have incurred nature's fury! You shall regret this in hell!”
“Shut the fuck up, you nigger Ent!”
The counter to earth was wood. I needed a wood blunt weapon right now. But my Elemental Mastery didn't include wood. No wood element? What a shame.
The Black Ent's attacks were slow, but each one packed devastating power. Its thick branches lunged at us with enough force to crush boulders. If Sera hadn't stepped up front and pulled all the aggro, we'd have been in deep shit.
I couldn't hit the Black Ent's weakness, but I wasn't worried. True to form for the Fairy Tale Dungeon, there was an easy way to clear this. With the攻略 guide, I was practically invincible in any dungeon.
Pollute the lake that's the source of the Ents' life force.
While Sera held aggro, I scanned the surroundings. Most of the obstructing foliage had burned away, making it easy to search.
Darkness Raider.
←Skill→
[Darkness Raider Lv5] (C-grade)
→Consumes mana to scan a 50m radius. Range doubles in darkness.
←Skill→
I even fired off Darkness Raider to check around. At level 5, the detection range was impressive. Being able to scan 50m in a dense forest was a huge merit.
In this forest of death, I spotted a small lake still vibrant with greenery. Pollute that, and every Ent here was done for.
The Black Ent herd spotted me heading for the lake and bellowed in fury.
“No! Stop that human! He's going to defile our lake with his filthy hands!”
“Human! How far must you cross the line before you come to your senses!?”
I flipped off the geezer Ents barking at me like old men.
“You retarded log bastards! Don't fucking order me around!”
At the lakeside, I pulled an item from my inventory. Normally, any method of polluting the lake would do, but I had just the thing.
A vial of black liquid.
←Item→
• Desolation Potion (B-grade)
→A deadly poison that contaminates the ground. Unless purified by special means, no crops can grow on tainted soil for 50 years. However, certain unique plants can thrive in it.
*Embodies a harsh calamity upon the earth.
←Item→
The tar-like, sticky, disgusting goo splashed into the lake. Just one drop, and the entire surface turned black. You could tell at a glance it was a concentrated essence of death.
I dumped the whole vial in. A clean lake like this didn't suit nigger Ents anyway.
“Nooo!”
“Gaaah! What is that!? My life force! It's draining from my body!”
“Human! You will pay for your karma! Forget not that nature watches you with eyes wide open!”
The Black Ents flailing their arms withered away in real time. Already overcooked to well-done with no life left, their branches shriveled, bark cracked and dried, flesh crumbling to dust.
The once pristine lake now belched toxic fumes like an oil slick.
Sera wrinkled her nose. “Master, it feels really gross.”
The beastkin girl's fur stood on end. The item description said it rendered soil barren for 50 years, and clearly it worked on water too.
Not a single Black Ent survived. The world around us shifted again.
Our final destination: the maze garden. The exact scene from when the princess made her last stand.
We'd broken all her desperate moves and come full circle.
“Eeeeek! My fairy tale...! You've ruined every children's story!”
The princess, floating weakly in the air, stomped her feet in rage. From a dungeon boss's perspective, this was infuriating. How much post-nut clarity hits when your ultimate move gets cheesed without a sweat?
I sneered at her. “Is the cruel fairy tale over now? Grow up on shit stories like this, and you turn into a whore princess like you! This boring game's done!”
The princess—more precisely, Dolce's fairy tale book—had burned through all its power on that final struggle.
I loaded a Holy Arrow at her. Fitting for a fairy tale protagonist, I'd grant her a holy end.
“Die! Holy Arrow.”
“Ugh! No!”
The arrow of light shot toward the princess. She panicked at its speed but barely dodged with her remaining strength. The straight-flying arrow grazed her side.
“Sera!”
“Got it!”
Sera leaped with my arrow, claws extended. I fired a Wind Cannon at her. The cannonball of air launched her body skyward toward the princess.
“Hiiik!”
The true final boss of the dungeon wasn't the princess—it was Dolce's fairy tale book. Sera's claws slashed at the massive tome.
“Rapid Claw!”
Left to right, top to bottom—Sera's barrage shredded the thick paper into rags. Clean pages shattered like snowflakes, and indelible scars marred the luxurious leather cover.
As the book fell apart, the princess began writhing in agony.
“Aaaah! It hurts! It hurts! So painful!”
Sera finished the merciless shredding, flipped in midair, and landed cleanly.
The screaming princess plummeted with the book. The lofty flying girl crashed as a noble princess, and the book seemed to exhaust its power too.
Thud! The world shook.
The final boss's death collapsed Fairy Tale Land.
The fallen book was unrecognizable. The princess was the same—joints twisted unnaturally, bones piercing flesh. A pathetic, tragic end to the fairy tale.
In truth, the princess was just an illusion conjured by the book. The ideal princess from any fairy tale. Her pussy was decent, but sadly, she couldn't leave the dungeon.
“Ah! Master! Look over there!”
Sera pointed to one spot on the ground. Amid the vanishing world, something glowed brightly.
I picked it up: a torn page from the fairy tale book. Unlike the others shredded to confetti, this was about a quarter intact.
On the blank page, a brilliant illustration appeared with a flash of light.
“A horse?”
The image was of a large, magnificent steed. White coat, blue mane—fit for a god. Perfect as our proof of conquest.
The fairy tale world fully crumbled. Sera and I stood blankly at the dungeon entrance.

Quest cleared, reward received. An S-grade item, no less.
About 30 badges in total.
The Glory Insignia was uniquely powerful. Its ultimate effect maximized growth. Like a limited version of my Power of Sex.
Even from the description, its potential was immense.
Different from Power of Sex, but in some ways, even better.
Power of Sex was 1-on-1 via sex (orgies aside), but this worked for groups just by wearing it. Exact growth numbers unknown, but its differentiation was clear.
Three restrictions were a downside, though. The first and third were manageable, but the second stung.
Same gender? Can't use it with me and my girls.
Maybe give it to the women only? I'd figure out details later. Great item—bound to come in handy. Maybe for raising a knight order.
Yeah. High-bond group? Knight order perfect. And I'm scouting for one right now.
Vmmm! The fairy tale page in my hand glowed.
Out of the dungeon, but this fragment remained. It turned into a small light orb, then reshaped.
Into a massive steed.
“Whoa! Master! Look at this!”
The light faded, revealing a pure white steed snorting before me. Its white coat epitomized elegance, accented by blue mane—like straight out of a fairy tale.
Its vibrant blue eyes fixed on me, it reared, neighed, then nuzzled my face.
“Phiiiing!”
Licking my face and snorting vigorously, it acted like a puppy fawning over its owner.
Sera pointed at me and the horse. “This horse recognizes you as its master, I think.”
“Hmm? You think?”
Like chicks imprinting on the first thing they see? I was flustered by the horse's fierce affection.
My body was heavy, but my strength neared 300. For it to overpower me? No ordinary horse. A divine steed worthy of the name.
How'd a dungeon drop something like this? No such hidden piece in the original game. I'd researched Fairy Tale Land thoroughly—it appeared often in guides. No hidden piece like this.
So, there are hidden pieces even I don't know?
I chalked it up to that. This world was based on Solary World, and I had the guide, but not omniscience.
Key point: I'd scored an amazing trophy.
The horse twisted its head, pointing its back with its face. An invitation to ride.
I hauled my heavy body onto its back. Sera hopped on behind me. The horse didn't mind her. Beastkin vibes meshing, maybe.
“Phiiiing!”
With a mighty neigh, it clip-clopped forward. Through the overgrown forest path, it charged without hesitation.
Its power was unreal. Carrying what was basically three people (thanks to my weight), it hit dozens of km/h. Even in obstacle-filled woods.
No reins, so I gripped its mane. No riding experience, but this steed balanced perfectly to keep me secure. Tapping its neck turned it like driving a car.
“Wow! Such a smart boy! Could pass for a beastkin.”
“Indeed. Amazing horse. Needs a name.”
No badass personal ride without a badass name. I pondered seconds, then nailed it.
“Poseidon! From now on, you're Poseidon!”
“Phruuuuuhiiing~!”
Poseidon neighed powerfully, as if understanding. One hell of a spirited divine steed. If it were female, I'd... Ahem! It was a stallion.
We returned to Laus Lake way faster than we'd come. The sun dipped low in the sky.
A tiring day, but the gains made it great.
