Receiving a Recommendation
A fixed party, huh.
Once the Dual Class problem was resolved, a hunter of my caliber would have no shortage of places eager to take me on. Working on the Support Team had only made my value clearer still. Compared to even seasoned veterans, my aggro-holding ability was overwhelming — that alone made me worth scouting.
The instructor had been the one who planted me as an intern in the first place, and my assignment to the Support Team had almost certainly been his influence as well. For him to bring up a fixed party now, of all times, probably meant he wanted me to stay with the Association — or that he was telling me to raise my own market value that way. After all, an experienced newcomer was worth far more than a raw recruit. Teaching rookies until they were actually useful was hard work in any industry, not just among the awakened.
I headed into my private room and examined the new skill I’d acquired first.
The skill I’d gotten from her last night was a B-rank ability called New Moon Dance.
As befitting a dancer, it was a dance — but it was also a twin-blade style that used curved swords. Depending on the dance performed, it applied buffs or debuffs to allies or enemies at a certain probability.
"So it’s an evasion-type vanguard that doubles as a buffer, huh."
Not bad at all. Being B-rank meant the swordsmanship level wasn’t shabby either, and it even granted secondary effects to allies and enemies mid-attack. Used properly, it would be an extremely useful skill.
Of course, it wasn’t without drawbacks. As an evasion type, its defensive power was low for a frontliner. Constant movement also meant stamina management was essential. And because the motions were so vigorous, equipment that hindered movement was hard to wear.
My classes had gotten tangled up and made basic techniques awkward to use, so having a solid sword skill come along was perfect timing. The ultimate techniques of my existing classes barely cared what weapon I held, so if I used New Moon Dance as my foundation and only brought out the ultimates when needed, I could handle gate exploration just fine in my current state.
"So she was looking out for me, in her own way. I should thank her later."
It was a growth-type skill, of course, so I’d have to put in serious work at night — but that was basically just daily life for me now.
I spent so long researching how to combine New Moon Dance with my ultimate techniques that time slipped right by. I scrambled to wash up, changed clothes, and headed out — only to find Im Hana waiting for me.
"Sorry. I got so focused I completely lost track of time."
"It’s fine. Happens."
After greeting the instructor, we left the center together, and I carefully asked,
"Did something happen with Miss Mia? The atmosphere felt weird this morning."
"Huh? Oh, no. Nothing at all."
"As long as it’s nothing, then okay."
If I were to form a fixed party, the members were already as good as decided. Tank: me. Healer: Im Hana. Dealer: Lamia. That covered the basic party composition.
Im Hana and Lamia both had the Dark Elf skill now, so their survivability as backliners had improved considerably. Even without learning separate close-combat techniques, the Dark Elf skill boosted their agility.
Besides, the two of them already knew what happened to each other in the dreams. Teaching them New Moon Dance together would be ideal. Three beautiful women performing New Moon Dance while filling the tank-DPS-healer roles… that would make for quite a sight.
There was still a problem to solve first, but… hmm. It might not be so bad.
I parted ways with Im Hana, went home, ate dinner, and went straight to bed. Going to sleep before digesting wasn’t a great habit, but with the powerful self-regeneration of my TS body, it was no issue.
I fell asleep almost instantly, entered the dream, immediately dove into passion, and while enjoying the afterglow, carefully posed a question.
"I’m thinking of giving those two an order today."
"What kind?"
"I’ll tell them to recommend any suitable talent around them who can accept my power."
She snorted.
"Did I not say the compatibility must match?"
"Still, you never know. Searching with three people is faster than searching alone, right?"
"True enough."
"If it’s someone they’ve already been in contact with, would searching that way still work?"
"I can’t dig through their memories to find them, but if they mention someone directly, I can check whether it’s possible."
"Then that’s fine. Nothing to lose."
"Wasn’t the whole point of getting a new skill so they wouldn’t notice each other?"
"Haha. Is that how it ends up?"
"Your whims truly boil over like porridge."
"Seems the body changing into a woman’s has had some influence."
"My ass."
She pointed into empty air, and space split open, forming a passage to another dream.
"I’ve summoned both of them to one place, so be off with you."
"Thank you."
"I’ll grant you a few privileges so you can orchestrate their dreams. Nothing major — you’ll simply be able to freely bring in whatever items you need inside."
"Wow. That’s actually huge. I’m even more grateful."
I offered her a polite kiss of thanks and stepped into the other dream.
Just as she’d said, the two of them stood side by side. They looked distinctly awkward about standing there naked next to each other, but I ignored that, used my newly granted privilege to conjure a large sofa, and sat down on it.
Lounging back in an arrogant posture, I pointed at my thoroughly aroused cock and said,
"Suck."
They flinched at the sound of my voice — one they’d never heard before — but recalling the final scene from last night, they flushed and approached to obey the command.
Watching the two of them kneel before me and diligently service me stirred something beyond simple pleasure: a pure sense of conquest.
The moment Lamia took the head into her mouth, I pulled Im Hana up, sat her beside me, and began a deep kiss.
Apparently the sight of sitting side by side and sharing a man’s cock had been too much for her; Im Hana quickly rose, settled next to me, and answered the kiss with passionate fervor.
I enjoyed their service for a while longer before breaking the kiss and speaking to both of them.
"If there’s anyone around you who can accept my power, recommend them."
"..."
Both of them looked startled. They had just realized that the constraint which had kept them silent in the dream until now had been lifted in this very moment.
"Recommendation doesn’t guarantee acceptance. If the compatibility doesn’t match, it’s impossible — keep that in mind."
"Yes."
I fixed my gaze on Im Hana, half-expecting her to recommend the real-world me. It would be an awkward situation, but not a bad one either. It would give me a natural pretext to pull them into a party. There would be no need to show them ravishing my real self; a few carefully chosen words would be enough.
But the Im Hana I’d been counting on kept her lips pressed tightly shut and said nothing at all. Instead, Lamia carefully offered a name.
"There’s someone I know who hasn’t awakened yet… I wonder if it would be possible."
"What sort of person?"
"Her name is Han Seol-ye. She’s a trainee at the agency I’m with, but her dancing isn’t good enough to debut, so she’s scheduled to be released soon."
An idol trainee who’d aged out without ever debuting, then. Lamia’s agency wasn’t a major corporation either — if a mid-tier company was cutting her, she was basically finished as an idol.
"Her looks are excellent enough that the agency wants her to try acting or modeling, but she herself seems sick of the entertainment industry. She’s planning to enroll in an awakener academy. If Master would bestow power upon her, I believe it would be a great help."
Attending an awakener academy didn’t guarantee awakening, of course. She’d already wasted her teens chasing idol dreams; rather than repeat the same mistake chasing awakening, she must have decided it was better to gain power from me.
"If she wants my power, she understands there is a price to pay, yes?"
"Of course. But I believe it’s a price well worth paying."
"Oh-ho."
At the very least, that meant Lamia didn’t find the present situation unpleasant or distasteful. Growing up amid complicated human relationships must have taught her how to navigate the world.
"Admirable. Stop what you’re doing and come up here."
"Yes, Master."
Hearing a working idol call me Master as if it were the most natural thing in the world only made my already hard cock throb harder.
"This is a reward."
"Thank… you."
Face flushed, Lamia carefully turned her back to me, settled into my lap, and took my raging cock into her body.
"Hngh!"
Feeling her springy inner flesh, I sat Im Hana back down on the floor and ordered,
"You recommended no one, so this is punishment. Lick."
"Yes..."
Im Hana stared at the place where Lamia and I were joined, fully exposed right in front of her, and looked completely at a loss.
I changed the sofa into a sunbed, conjured a bungalow around us to block the sunlight, and spoke again.
"Why are you just sitting there?"
"I-I’m sorry."
Im Hana squeezed her eyes shut and stuck out her tongue to lick.
"Ahhn!"
Having an unexpected person lick her most sensitive place made Lamia shudder and moan. She must have thought yesterday’s experiences had inured her to almost anything — she still had a long way to go.
"What are you doing? Move."
"I’m… sorry."
Lamia also squeezed her eyes shut and slowly began to rock her hips. Having someone else lick her already hypersensitive flesh only made the stimulation fiercer.
At first they looked helpless, grudgingly doing exactly as I told them. But after a little time passed, the situation changed.
As if pleasure had blown their reason clean away, they started biting and sucking at each other without any further orders from me — a complete free-for-all.
Is this okay? I wondered. Don’t tell me the two of them are going to fall for each other in reality too? Then again, if that happened, it would be a delicious situation in its own right.
Either way, I spent a long, leisurely, thoroughly messy stretch of time enjoying myself with the two of them before finally returning to my original dream.
"So? Did you check?"
"The moment I said ‘new woman,’ your eyes lit up like a hungry dog. Men, honestly."
"Haha."
"Don’t laugh. What did you even do right?"
"Yes, ma’am."
She snorted at me as I quickly moved in to massage her shoulders, then answered as if she had no choice.
"The compatibility itself is not bad. Her vessel is ordinary, but that can be cultivated."
"Is that so. Glad to hear it."
"Glad my ass. Now get the hell out of here."
"Yes, ma’am."
I once again stepped toward the rift she had opened.
