The Saintly Emperor's Secret
The Emperor was a saintly ruler. Hero Party. Centered around a hero, these were the main force for subjugating the Demon King—a sort of decapitation unit. They didn't fight on the front lines but infiltrated the Maou Castle to behead the enemy leader, the Maou herself. They were small elite squads of 4 to 5 members. Representative hero parties included the Kairan Hero Party, featuring Kairan, Eli, and Karni; the Northern Hero Party, terrorizing the Demon King's army across the northern front; and the Eastern Hero Party from the Arzen Kingdom in the eastern continent.
"So we need to recruit 1 or 2 more, huh."

"Yeah. A mage would be ideal."
Eli responded to Karni's words.
Mages and priests were natural counters. It wasn't just human compatibility, beliefs, or faith—it stemmed from the incompatibility between holy power and mana. Mana and holy power were like water and oil; they could never mix. The reason healing magic existed instead of holy spells and blessings was that holy healing didn't work well on mages. Of course, this mutual antagonism made them hypersensitive to each other's presence.
"A mage, huh... You okay with that, Eli?"
"Sure, no problem. We need one to diversify the party's offense anyway."
Mages also have far superior detection range and accuracy.
"Then we have to head to the Capital City. Mages are rare, so it's tough in the boonies."
"We've come this far, and now we have to go back?"
"Descending's the only hassle. We can hitch a ride up with a Capital mage."
The northern highlands, unworthy of any name but the front lines. Having climbed even further north from there, now they had to head south again. The feeling was akin to an RPG quest where you had to detour massively instead of going straight—similar, if not exactly opposite.
"Can't do it without the Capital?"
"Amore's the same, right? The only places with mages on the continent are the capitals of each nation."
"And with the war, other kingdoms' mages are all on the front lines. Only the Empire has any spare."
Eli and Karni answered Kairan's grumbling in turn.
"Mages were priority targets during the Great Elf Invasion."
As the three chatted while walking, they soon reached the carriage rental spot. This time, luckily, they could pick a fancy, expensive one instead of a rickety old cart.
"How much?"
"22 silver 11 ronze."
"Here's 2 gold 1 silver."
Karni pulled two gold coins and one silver from her pouch and handed them to Eli. As soon as she took the money, Eli trotted inside with a clink-clink-clink.
Kairan sidled up to Karni, watching her go, and spoke.
"2 gold 1 silver... That's 1 gold 8 silver 11 ronze in change, right?"
"Yeah, 6 silver 1 ronze back."
"Sounds so beggar-like no matter how many times I hear it."
I wonder who came up with that system. Obviously the royals, but wait—no, it was continental currency. Maybe not even them.
"Well... His Majesty the Emperor's planning currency reform soon anyway."
"...Saintly ruler."
"Right?"
The mention of currency reform reminded her of Joseon's tangbaekjeon notes—thanks to her complete high school education in South Korea.
At least it's not mixing base-10, 12, 14, and 16.
Thinking of the beggar-ass currency system twisted her guts.
Who the hell—who the bitch—designed this?
...Wasn't this based on a game? Did the game use this crap too?
Her mind grew more tangled.
Should've played it first.
She'd skipped the original and gone straight for mods—punishment for that? She'd only skimmed the wiki for mods and characters, not read deeply. If she'd known transmigration was coming, she'd have ditched her girlfriends for wiki time.
"Hero! Karni!"
As she clutched her head, Eli returned from checkout, heavy coin pouch in hand.
'Heavy?' Why so heavy?
"No change?"
"Huh? Oh, they said no silver, so I got it all in ronze."
"The full 6 silver 1 ronze?"
"Yeah! 73 ronze total."
...Fucking unit system.

A carriage worth about 23 silver rode entirely differently. Similar size to a mid-size camper van from her pre-transmigration days, but the ride comfort far surpassed any luxury sedan.
Should've ridden expensive cars back then.
No interest in cars; for outings, taxi or call a girl from her contacts. She preferred summoning them home over going out—no need for car knowledge. Still, it beat every car she'd ridden, which was enough.
Especially since the interior rivaled a mansion.
"Definitely worth the price."
"Yeah, past 20 silver, carriage rides are all similar. This is peak value."
"Is that so?"
"Yep. They say 99% to 100% is the hardest part."
From Eli and Karni's explanations, pricier carriages weren't bigger—just more and finer enchantments. For value, 10-20 silver was best. Of course, as saintess and noble opinions, not commoner ones.
"To the Capital... at this speed, about 3 days?"
"Autopilot makes it comfy."
"Right?"
Gazing at the scenery outside, she heard slurping from the side.

Turning slightly, she saw Eli sucking Karni's tits.
"Tasty?"
"Mhm."
Kairan stifled a laugh at Eli brazenly nursing on Karni's massive breasts. Too bold to even comment.
"...Anyway, the onahole?"
"Hm...? Me?"
"Not you."
Karni answered with a soft moan. Reacting instantly to "onahole" meant training was going well. Nightly "onahole" calls paying off?
"Oh, the Empress?"
"'Empress' feels blasphemous. Let's call her Onahole No. 3."
"Mm, got it. That No. 3?"
"Yeah. Not using her?"
Eli, mid-suck, silently opened her inventory with a gesture and pulled out No. 3. She thudded to the floor, drenched in fluids, reeking of thick bitch-musk.
"...Tits got bigger?"
"Yeah, holy-modding them. I like 'em big. Hehe."
Eli blushed cutely and stowed her away.
"Anyway, No. 3's out of commission. Aging her more."
"Hm. Fair enough."
At Kairan's reply, Eli resumed sucking Karni's tits—kneading the huge jugs, tugging, suckling nipples like a baby. Her dick perked up, entranced. Watching, Kairan reached out carefully, stroking Eli's thigh before gripping her cock tight.
"Hngh♥"
Eli let out a cute moan. Savoring it, Kairan slowly pumped her hand.
Hands were bored anyway.
Until the mid-village stop, Eli's dick obeyed Kairan's hand like a loyal pet.

Medieval fantasy? Obvious icon: slave market.
"One hero party member's gotta be a slave origin."
"Really?"
"Duh? Tradition from the First Hero."
Kairan wondered if that First Hero was another transmigrator like her.
Transmigration hundreds of years pre-original...
Pity filled her for the presumed transmigrator First Hero.
"Wanna browse?"
"Sure!"
Eli beamed eagerly at Karni's suggestion. How bad did she want this?
After a lap around the market, a strikingly beautiful slave caught their eye. Unlike others—malnourished or sickly—her skin gleamed, hair shone dust-free and silky. Slave tattoo on lower belly, thick iron chain on neck, but she looked oddly blissful.

Approaching the blonde with purple eyes, a futanari overseer patted her shoulder gingerly.
"Your Imperial Majesty..."
"...Huh?"
"...Ahem. Hey, Noe! Customer. G-get up!"
"...Nngh, hnngh."
The overseer looked suicidal; the slave beamed happily. No deaf person misses "Your Imperial Majesty." Simple conclusion:
That's the Empress.
Empress roleplaying slave in a market.
Saintly ruler.
Leading by example as hero party cumdump. How could she not be saintly?
...For real.
