One Night with Master
Ryu Ga-eul, with over a decade of experience as a player, felt this moment was the happiest of her life. Even more than when she'd awakened as a player and climbed to the pinnacle.
"My disciple, my cute little disciple…"
Tricking her innocent, kind disciple into the contract by force did prick her conscience a bit. But she had zero intention of backing out.
"Master… did you sleep well?"
The instant she spotted that small, pale face peeking out from under the blanket, Ryu Ga-eul—who'd shrugged off the Brain King's lightning spear on the 80th floor without a scratch—nearly had her heart stop.
She's driving me insane. Looks like a hamster and acts like one too…
She wrapped her arms around him as he squirmed shyly under the covers, wriggling his little body.
"Eek! M-Master."
"Stay still."
Startled by the sudden embrace, Hyunwoo twisted in surprise, but overpowering Ryu Ga-eul's strength was impossible. In the end, she got exactly what she wanted, hugging her adorable disciple tight in her arms.
"Last night felt really good, didn't it? It was fucking amazing."
"Don't say weird shit. Someone overhears, they'll think we're fuckbuddies or something."
"But we are fuckbuddies, aren't we? You telling me we're not?"
They had, in fact, spent the night together in the same bed. Which explained why they were both naked, red lipstick marks stark on their skin. Ryu Ga-eul grinned slyly, pinching his cheek as she spoke.
"No need to split hairs that much… right?"
"No, Master! Save the creepy talk for later."
His trust in his master was already in the gutter, so Hyunwoo couldn't hold back—he snapped right back at her.
Even seeing her disciple's defiance, she just chuckled like it was nothing. His lingering resistance struck her as utterly cute.
This little cutie. Bet he thrashes just like this in bed.
She'd groped his body all night, slaking a torrent of desires, yet Ryu Ga-eul's lust still burned hot. Part of her wanted to flip him over and go another round right then, but regretfully, she'd have to save it for later.
"Up we go… Let's order some delivery today. Rest a bit, then back to bed for some action."
"That 'action'… Ugh, forget it. Not even gonna dignify that."
Amazed by her trash-tier word choice, Hyunwoo wondered just how bottomless her sex drive really was.
"You loved it too, don't lie."
Ryu Ga-eul threw off the blanket, flaunting her stunning figure. Massive tits, chiseled abs etched sharp, skin smooth as silk. A flawless statue of a body, no scars or blemishes—Hyunwoo plunged straight into inner turmoil.
Almost jumped her right there. But no way in hell am I fucking my master.
Sure, Ryu Ga-eul was drop-dead gorgeous. But Hyunwoo had zero interest in sleeping with her. Hell, even thinking about it made his body twitch. An inexplicable terror washed over him.
It was pure instinct. High-level players had biology fundamentally alien to normal creatures. Mating with one risked not just the individual, but the entire species—so the body suppressed any lust as a safeguard.
Honestly, she's totally my type… Ten-year age gap? Whatever, players don't age anyway. Could be a plus.
Because of that, Hyunwoo normally felt no sexual pull toward his master. What should have been desire warped into something else: the deep respect he'd harbored until recently. Though even that had faded thanks to her outrageous behavior.
"Hmm… Was thinking jjajangmyeon."
As he pondered how to handle this walking ball of horniness, Ryu Ga-eul's goofy grin suddenly turned dead serious. He'd never seen that look before. Hyunwoo just stared blankly.
"Yeah?"
"Four little rat bastards just snuck in."
At level 89, her senses were razor-sharp. Ryu Ga-eul snatched up her scattered clothes from the floor, threw them on in a flash, grabbed her usual wooden sword, and kicked the door open.
"Bursting into someone's house like you own the place. Don't the kids these days know basic manners?"
The Sword Saint's dojang sat deep in the mountains, perfect for incidents with no witnesses. Seizing the ideal setup, the four assassins stepped forward boldly at her call.
"Sword Saint, Ryu Ga-eul?"
"Talking like a prick. Wanna die for real?"
"Guess that's her. Rude as advertised…"
The four players were dressed like ninjas straight out of some Japanese flick. All-black doboks, face-concealing masks. Ryu Ga-eul couldn't wrap her head around why they'd pick such eye-catching outfits for a daytime hit.
Stealth scrolls. Pricey ones if even I didn't spot 'em sooner… Someone's bankrolling these clowns.
She didn't underestimate them, though. Calmly sizing up their power, she drew her sword. Average level 40s. Unique gear equipped, and their moves screamed pros—not rookies.
"I'll give you a chance to explain before I kill you. Who the hell are you?"
"Like you need to know. Ain't like you're bragging to the King of Hell down there."
The assassins drew their weapons…
"What the fuck?"
Ryu Ga-eul couldn't hide her shock. They'd pulled out a harp, a guitar, a saxophone—musical instruments.
"What, busking in the park on the way over?"
"Heh, no clue why everyone says that. You'll be screaming soon enough."
"Four of ya, so what—your assassin squad's the Beatles? Real fucking impressive."
Ryu Ga-eul clocked it: the whole squad was Bards. Player traits stemmed from talent or personality. Bards popped up mostly in singer classes, specializing in weakening monsters and healing allies.
"Da capo!"
But these four had figured out how to make Bards lethal.
"Da capo!"
"Da capo!"
"Da capo!"
"Fuck off with that shit, you morons."
The Sword Saint held back, not rushing in. She fell back a step, gauging their moves. Let them show their hand first.
"Idiots! Curse Melody!"
Unavoidable curse weighs down like iron armor over the whole body.
The guitar string twanged, slamming Ryu Ga-eul with an unavoidable curse. A crushing heaviness like being wrapped in iron gripped her; she clicked her tongue in annoyance as the next hit landed.
"Heh, still haven't clocked your defeat."
Ding—!
The curse didn't end there. The remaining three piled on at once.
Da capo—a musical term meaning "from the top." A level 40 trait that, after activation, repeats the first trait used.
"Still impressive? Tanked a quadruple curse stack without a single bone cracking…"
"Sword Saint title ain't some lucky gamble. Don't stop—keep blasting! Da capo!"
They chanted the trait again. This time, the sax-wielding bard bellowed.
"Attack Enhancement Melody!"
Boosts physical abilities by 30% for 5 minutes.
A trait pumping physical stats 30% for five minutes. And it fired four times. Total boost: 120%.
"Gonna feel the tide turning now. Heh…"
"Not bad skills."
The Sword Saint muttered flatly. Internally, she felt a wave of relief.
"But that all you got? Surely not the end, right."
"Hmph! Bluff all you want… Won't go down easy!"
"Not a bluff."
It really was just that weak.
Four curses stacked, four buffs applied—and still, the Sword Saint was utterly relaxed.
Her wooden sword, already drawn, slashed in a massive horizontal stroke, like a master's first brushstroke.
"Huh? What the—"
A bizarre dissonance rang out. One bard voiced confusion—then clutched his chest in agony.
"Guh? Ack…"
"Wasting my time with this crap. You bitches deserve to die."
One strike.
Perfectly tuned to drop four level 40 players.
Job done, the Sword Saint sheathed her wooden sword and muttered to herself.
Might as well let my disciple get some hands-on experience with these.
They'd make fine training dummies. And she could squeeze even more tuition out of it as a bonus.
Jackpot.
The perfect chance to pile even more debt onto Hyunwoo.
