Ep.9 - Agreement
Ep.9 - Agreement
Delin, now quite adept at wielding his inner Dragon, soothed the women, instinctively grasping his position and role.
It might have been because he'd adapted to this other world, or perhaps because of a femininity that had always existed deep inside him—either way, he wielded his God-given weapon well.
"Haah—fuck."
For the women who longed to embrace Delin, wasn't it truly maddening? As if giving voice to that feeling, Riko spat the curse and irritably kicked a nearby stone.
Even so, she voiced no outright refusal. Since they'd already reached an agreement before, she didn't stop Delin; she merely let her anger show as naturally as she could.
"..."
Of course, that was only from Riko's perspective; the other women's reactions were markedly different.
Neva had accepted the Soul Bond the moment she grasped it, insisting they use it, so she wasn't a problem, but Kaede and Chichi couldn't accept the proposal so easily.
Especially Chichi.
"Absolutely not! Never! Never never never never! Do you want to see noona go insane?! Take back those words right now!"
She had long since abandoned the dignity of a great witch. Having thrown everything away to follow Delin, she refused to see her share diminished.
"Then what? Are you saying noona should enter a shared marriage with these humans? Huh!? Is that it!? Is that what you're saying!?"
The term "shared marriage" wasn't particularly familiar to Delin, but even he could easily grasp what it implied.
Hadn't Chichi mentioned it once, back when she was teaching in Raftel? That the beings here usually form packs to guard and share a single male.
"I absolutely can't! Never! You might as well stick a knife in noona's neck. Just kill me!"
Chichi briefly imagined a married life with the other women. But no matter how brightly she tried to picture the future, all that awaited her was a marriage so infuriating and annoying it made her shudder.
After all, it wasn't like some ordinary marriage where close female friends or comrades wed each other; this was bundling together people who were practically sworn enemies and calling it a marriage! Even an assembly of the most benevolent saints would be aghast at such a thing, wouldn't they?
"And before that...! How on earth did you get pregnant...! No, and why only me..."
Chichi let out a scream and staggered, leaning on her staff. A horrific reality that even her brilliant mind struggled to accept. A cruel secret. As if traveling together weren't annoying enough, now everyone except her was pregnant? The last time she'd shared her body with Delin was ages ago, and while she'd been left out, all the others had been busily having sex and getting pregnant...?
"Aah... when on earth..."
Chichi didn't show tears, but with her heart deeply wounded, she collapsed—flump—right where she stood.
Her body, full of restrained beauty and elegance, was practically the "ultimate ideal type" in Raftel where love between women flourished,
but Chichi lacked the well-developed mammary glands, breasts, and soft charm that were typically considered feminine attributes.
Ever since meeting Kaede, she'd been secretly fretting, constantly fiddling with her own chest,
but she'd believed without a doubt that she had other charms sufficient to cover for it...
This could truly only be called a tragedy.
Chichi could only collapse, become the protagonist of this tragedy, and curse the crumbling world...
But the woman who approached her side, placed a hand on her shoulder with a soft pat, and comforted her was nothing if not magnanimous.
With an embrace as enveloping as a tender bosom, she consoled the women with her generous ambition.
"Chichi, lift your head. And everyone, I understand you are shocked by these sudden, consecutive events, but still, must we not calm ourselves! We are all comrades!"
Of course, contrary to her confident words, her tail was swaying a bit listlessly and dejectedly, but still...
"Since things have come to this, this humble one has decided to seek a path where we can all live in harmony. This bond we've formed must surely be fate! We've all been chosen as if pointed out by God. Could we not form a good relationship, where each of us fills in what the others lack?"
Kaede helped Delin with such stout and dignified composure. The women of this world sometimes displayed bouts of obsession, yet cases like Kaede, who demonstrated such generous and tolerant embrace, were also common.
"And, having sat and pondered for a moment, I concluded that, in the end, Sir Neva returned to us, bringing Seobang-nim. Stabbing us in the back is an act worthy of criticism, but this humble one believes that admitting a fault and repenting in this way is the very spirit of knighthood, that is, chivalry!"
"Well, it sounds more likely she tried to suck and swallow him all for herself, but then chickened out and came back."
Riko still snapped back sharply, and Chichi, still drooping, just shook her head side to side,
but the well-mannered Kaede, without a rough edge to her personality, comforted them and tried to steer the party's mood.
"Now, now! Please, everyone, don't be like that and sit back down. Seobang-nim, in any case, this humble one will follow Seobang-nim's opinion. If there is a way to become stronger, there is no reason to refuse it!"
"Kaede-ssi... No, Kaede noona..."
Feeling quite moved, Delin scampered over to Kaede and hugged her tightly. As her husband showed his affection, Kaede's tail once again wagged this way and that with joy. It was truly an honest tail.
"Keheng... this much is nothing..."
"That bitch is seriously dumber than a total birdbrain."
Anyway, the women took their seats again and opened the first council!
This was a momentous occasion. With everyone entangled in various fraught relationships, the meeting began with Delin at the center—a democratic, high-level accord of a civilized people.
"In that case, there is no objection to me, who has nothing to gain from this agreement, acting as the moderator, correct?"
"No."
"None!"
"..."
"Whatever."
Helen led the council among the women. Having sworn before everyone that she had no designs on Delin, she was the only woman capable of conducting a fair deal without bias toward anyone. (Eva had been excluded from the meeting, as Riko vehemently insisted she was essentially Neva's henchman.)
"Very well. Then let us begin."
Her fingers habitually twitched, missing her cigar, but Helen suppressed her own desires for the sake of the important proceedings and led the meeting with a reverent heart.
"We've had similar compromises before, but this very moment is the time for all of us to pledge ourselves for the future."
----------------------------------------------------
The council proceeded in a peculiar atmosphere. Gathering the opinions of women who grumbled, snapped, and radiated irritation was never an easy task.
But Kaede and the Neva-Eva sisters already agreed with my opinion. And even Riko, who'd been the biggest obstacle, couldn't put up much resistance thanks to the conversation we'd shared beforehand, and was simply venting her irritation.
Thus, the only one expressing strong refusal was Chichi. She had her arms crossed, legs crossed, and was tapping one foot, rejecting all conversation.
"Chichi, please don't be like that and cheer up. If you stay so sullen, things that could be done won't get done."
"Don't talk to me. You're the same as her, anyway."
"Professor, right now this is the best..."
"You too, Eva!"
Even Kaede and Eva, who had formed connections with her in their own way, couldn't change Chichi's mind, so this was genuinely a troublesome problem.
Even if there were complaints, they needed a unanimous agreement first so the party wouldn't fall apart...
"Fine, just let her be like that. So what if she's sulking."
It was Riko who spoke up amidst it. Riko taunted and teased Chichi, then gathered the other noonas together and began to voice her opinion.
"Let's do this for now. Fine, as you guys said, we'll take turns fucking Delin."
"That kind of language is too..."
"Shut up, you bitch. Anyway, once we cross over to the Demon Continent, it's crawling with bastards like the Dragon we fought, and they say that Demon King bitch is the strongest in history, so let's go while getting as much enhancement as we can through the Soul Bond. In exchange."
In exchange.
Riko paused for a moment before delivering the words that would follow. Everyone's attention focused on Riko's lips. And only after that attention was fully gathered did Riko open her mouth.
"Once we kill the Demon King and reach God's Garden, then after that, we leave it up to Delin. We all hate the idea of living together forever in this shitty situation, right? So you choose."
Riko's finger pointed at me. In that hand full of confidence, there wasn't the slightest tremble.
"Choose who you'll live together with."
On the surface, her words sounded incredibly democratic and rational, and so even Neva and Kaede nodded in agreement...
But in Riko's eyes, as I saw them, a completely different emotion was brimming.
"How about it? Sounds good, right?"
She spoke as if suggesting a fair competition. But,
Within her amber eye, the one not hidden by the eyepatch,
"...Yes. Alright. I'll choose."
there wasn't even a fingernail's worth of the heart to yield.
"Alright, so we're all agreed among ourselves. What are you going to do about that flat-chested miss over there?"
"..."
At the point when everyone else's agreement was nearly finalized.
Riko pulled Chichi in, speaking as if to provoke her.
"Well, if you don't want in, you can just fuck off. It's your loss."
"You..."
Chichi glared at Riko, showing her distaste, but at the point where the other women had already agreed, refusing the outcome on her own held no meaning.
Even if she refused alone, the other women would still embrace Delin, and the only one excluded would be herself.
"...Fine. Let's do it that way."
"Now then, since everyone seems to have reached an agreement... I, Helen, shall act as witness to this accord and guarantee it. We here, having reached a conclusion to which everyone consents through mutual concession and consideration, from this day forward..."
Helen concluded the meeting.
The time taken for the meeting was 1 hour and 12 minutes.
The conclusion they reached in that time:
"...We will set a rotation and embrace Delin-gun. Those included in this agreement are Philmark, Neva, Chichi, and Kaede, a total of four people, taking turns..."
Set a rotation and embrace Delin, and through that embrace, strengthen him via the Soul Bond.
"We will repeatedly and continuously make love, utilizing Delin-gun's ability, and thereby make use of his enhancement ability. Are there any objections?"
"No."
"Nope."
"None!"
"...No."
Thus, the agreement came to an en-
-d before it could finish. It stopped.
Everyone's gaze turned toward the unexpected voice. There, a small witch stood, her face flushed, trembling slightly.
Even uttering a single word must have been a struggle before the presence and fierce energy of the other women, and the small witch tried hard to open her mouth but...
"Th-that... that is..."
"What."
"Ah..."
In the end, she hung her head low and shook it side to side.
"Never mind..."
End of Agreement.
