Ep.7 - Promises, and Lies (2)
Ep.7 - Promises, and Lies (2)
Delin knew he wouldn't be able to take back the words he'd just blurted out, but in the end, he still spat them out anyway.
He knew he had to return.
He also knew that the goal of returning mattered more than anything else,
and he knew that to make it back, he mustn't grow attached to the women of this other world.
Of course, he could simply wish for it from God.
To return together with all the women he loved.
Or, to have even these memories completely erased and be sent back to his original world.
He could have wished for anything.
But he had never once entertained the thought of going home with the women.
It was no different from spouting nonsense.
They'd obviously spend the rest of their days fighting until the day they died.
He knew that his relationships with everyone, tangled like a thread so hopelessly knotted it could never be unraveled,
were a towering wall that couldn't be overcome by mere reconciliation and concession.
"Please, pleeease..."
The author who sent me to this world,
and this bastard called God who grants all wishes,
probably never guessed I'd end up in relationships like this.
The women trying to kill each other,
me being utterly unable to stop them properly,
just dragged around this way and that...
They probably never imagined I'd end up in such a fucked-up mess.
They probably wished for a happy ending, where I'd seduce pretty women and live it up,
then roughly when I wanted to return, I'd just be having sex behind the heroines who'd become strong like some munchkin,
and take them all back to the original world like that.
Where the heroines got along splendidly with each other so we'd have orgies now and then,
jealous of each other but secretly looking out for one another,
that's what they probably wished for.
"I'll never leave you. I'll always be by your side, noona... please don't make me hate you. I love you, Riko-noona... I don't know how it came to this, but I love you. I really do..."
But in the end, it turned out like this.
If some other cool guy had come to this other world, he probably would've lived a life suavely handling all the women.
"I won't betray you, noona. Riko-noona, as long as you don't touch the other noonas... I'll never ever betray you. Never. I'll love you always. For the rest of my life. For the rest of my life..."
I knew setting conditions like this would lead to disaster later.
I knew, but...
"I'll always be by your side. Always..."
The side Riko showed me, fierce beyond compare,
looking perpetually angry yet somehow wounded,
I couldn't endure without holding her close.
Even if I have to leave someday.
I just couldn't bring myself to...
"Come here. I'll hold you. Please, so... please, don't be like this. Noona..."
I couldn't not hold her.
The experiences of the past that tormented us constantly,
tormented us as if a hole had been drilled through our hearts,
but sometimes, we meet someone who plugs that hole for us.
"Noona, you're... you're really pretty, and actually, you're kind. You're prickly, but you're gentler than the other noonas sometimes. You're way too rough with me, and you're always just trying to have sex... but still, you're cool, and you're kind."
Riko had treated Delin like a tool and roughly pinned him down countless times,
yet Delin was able to embrace even that fact.
"You had it hard too, didn't you? It's okay. Because it's okay..."
When you see cases of a pathological desire for sexual acts with a specific person,
sometimes it's tied to the anxiety that the other person might leave.
The anxiety toward the other person makes it so you can't endure without holding them.
As if you'd die without them, you keep having sex, obsessing over sex to see them wanting you,
but for the most part, people grow exhausted by that crazed desire and meet a bad end.
"I'll forgive everything. I can forgive everything, so please don't be like this..."
But Delin
let even the first rape that caused tragedy in this other world,
and even the first death he met from excessive pleasure, sink deep down into his heart.
"Huh? Riko-noona... please..."
He buried even the hundreds of times of rough sexual exploitation suffered through dozens of repeated Loads,
buried all of her sins that he didn't even know about,
and held her.
Seeing Delin embrace her with his small body,
feeling his hand stroking her back in that state,
Riko bit her lip.
"..."
Blood seeped from her lip,
but Riko was more tormented by the few drops of tears spilling from his eyes than by any blood.
"Don't talk like you know everything. Who do you think you are? You're just... a stupid man. A stupid man who just has to do whatever I say..."
She couldn't finish her words.
Once the tears started flowing, she couldn't fight them.
Though Riko had become stronger than ever before, she couldn't overcome the childlike heart that had surfaced.
"Just be quiet and follow along, that's all you..."
Riko shed tears for the first time in a long while.
How long had it been since something hot had streamed from her eyes?
"That's all you had to do..."
The two felt they had become one.
More than the definitive words of a soul bond,
it was the tears Riko shed and Delin's few rambling words that connected them.
In a society where most shared men, the harem form was dominant,
but Riko had absolutely no intention of sharing her treasure with other women.
He might, possibly, fall for other women, betray her, and leave. She couldn't permit that.
She didn't want to see those detestable bitches lay their bodies with Delin. She didn't want to yield.
She wanted to monopolize the love that would go to those bastards. It would be nice if he only looked at her, only loved her.
...But, truly ironically,
unlike his stubbornness to push through everything like a man,
it was his girlish nature, the one always mocked, that truly blocked Riko.
Tears had always come before words,
and those emotion-smeared words had always been the subject of her friends' teasing,
but in this moment, what was needed was his tender heart, his sympathy, his small worry, and a little empathy.
"I'll always be by your side..."
Though they were words he couldn't handle,
his momentary heart made him blurt them out anyway.
More than any matters of a later day, he wanted to soothe one wounded animal.
"I'll never betray you. Because I love you, noona. Because I'll always love you... so please, don't be like this..."
Delin loved Riko.
Though he loved other women no less,
the fact that he truly did love Riko
was certain.
...Sometimes, momentary emotions trample reason and leap out of the mouth as they please.
People say they'll kill someone, yet actually killing them is exceedingly rare.
People say they're so sad they want to die, yet it actually leading to suicide is exceedingly rare.
We often say emotion-laced words are sincere.
But surging emotions make it possible to spit out any words at all.
"...Really."
Taking responsibility for that will fall upon the self of that far-off future day.
At moments when rational judgment and reason are necessary,
he will have to endure his emotions.
"Fuuuck..."
Riko looked at Delin for a moment, letting the tears flow.
Riko loved Delin.
She loved him enough to ache with it, so she wanted to monopolize him,
"I said I hate it..."
but equally,
she didn't want to be hated by Delin.
To dominate him with force,
to bind him with sex,
these were struggles to make him look only at her, to stop him, please, from ever leaving her.
"Haa..."
But the truth was, she wanted none of that: being hated.
Though she wanted to have him all to herself even if it meant being hated,
nevertheless, being hated by Delin—
she didn't want to imagine it.
She wanted to see his smiling face;
she wanted him to truly love her.
"Why, why did I..."
Seeing him try to embrace even her rough self,
Riko shed tears endlessly.
Unlike the people of the back alleys filled with lies,
his expression was stupidly guileless.
That guileless face was looking at her and crying,
so Riko couldn't bring herself to walk forward.
"I'm number one. You love me the most... Because if not, I'll never let you off..."
For the first time, Riko knelt before Delin.
Their eye levels met.
Delin's frail body had always been hoisted up near Riko's head level when their gazes overlapped,
but today Riko knelt in front of Delin's face, and their gazes and lips overlapped.
Their surroundings began to brighten.
Day was breaking.
It was the nature of the world that tragedies occurred even under a brilliant sun,
and there was no guarantee that the future would be smooth.
But for a moment, they swept aside the darkness and faced the light.
It was morning.
----------------------------------------------
"..."
There was a woman sitting in a chair,
passing time with no meaning at all, staring at the unusually bright moon.
While smoothing down the hem of a black dress.
She muttered.
"10692, 10693, 10694, 10695."
While one woman's wounds were healing,
this woman's wounds were instead gaping wider.
"10696, 10697, 10698, 10699."
The woman who had counted up to 10699
soon found herself lying on the bed.
"...1, 2, 3, 4."
She slowly raised her body and stepped out of bed, approached her subordinates waiting outside the door, and spoke.
"Send a messenger to L'Myune immediately. Tell them criminals will be arriving soon, and that we'll be sending troops to stop them. Tell them not to forget the help we gave in developing the Falheim mine. And, dispatch the 2nd Knight Order and 3rd Knight Order toward the border adjoining L'Myune. Tell them the criminals will be heading that way, so stake your lives on capturing them and bring them in. And convey that if they fail to capture them, they should be prepared."
Issuing that command took exactly 24 seconds.
While the knights who received the sudden order bowed their heads deeply, the Queen muttered again.
"29, 30, 31, 32."
This made the 17th command issued.
17th.
The Queen had already repeated this act 17 times.
"33, 34, 35, 36."
Since she couldn't know when the Load would end, she kept staying up with open eyes, counting the hours.
"37, 38, 39, 40."
While thinking about what a delightful time Delin must be having with other bitches during those countless Loads.
"41, 42, 43, 44."
The Queen sat blankly, staring at the moon, and counted the time.
"45, 46, 47, 48."
She calculated that since 17 Loads had been carried out at roughly 3-hour intervals,
it was no different from him merrily spending more than nearly 51 hours.
The days of lying with Delin came to mind.
His soft lips, his twitching male member...
"49, 50, 51, 52."
The next time I meet Delin,
first, I'll tear off his arms and legs so he can't run away, then slowly savor the joy of reunion.
"53, 54, 55, 56."
The women who enjoyed all this and that,
I'll have to rip them so they can never enjoy pleasurable copulation again.
"57, 58, 59, 60."
...Helen.
Archbishop Helen, who was supposed to meet her to discuss critical matters,
had reportedly turned sharply and was heading south.
"61, 62, 63, 64."
Riding in her carriage was a little witch.
And that witch, according to reports, had white hair and blue eyes.
The little witch who resembled Neva came to mind.
The small thing she had seen with her own eyes in the underground chamber came to mind vividly and clearly.
"65, 66, 67, 68."
Since it was the knights carrying her personal letter who reported this directly,
it was clear that this was the little witch they said was Neva's little sister, and that the one taking her away was Helen.
"69, 70, 71, 72."
There was no proper reason for Helen to take Neva's little sister.
After all, the only one who looked after her little sister was Neva.
So then, the conclusion to be drawn was that, for whatever reason, Helen was fleeing with Delin's party, including Neva.
And when she contacted the Holy Kingdom, they conveniently said they were not at all involved with the Archbishop's deviant behavior.
"73, 74, 75, 76."
I guess it would be best to catch them and ask directly—
all of them.
...It was a night where the moon was unusually bright.
