[5★ Storm of the North Sea Mirien dreams of defying the heavens. A tower rises.]
[5★ Queen Who Swallowed the Stars Asteria whispers of fate. Emptiness draws near.]
[5★ Mother of Ill Omens Karne sings of ruin. Fear the night.]
[5★ Singed Saint Selene scatters calamity. The Abyss opens.]

“....”
I knew these messages. They were the exact same ones that appeared whenever I summoned characters in the game.
Their names were familiar too. They belonged to the characters I had seen just yesterday.
But there was one crucial difference. Unlike before, when I had only watched them through a screen, the disasters now stood right before my eyes.
Rumble. Rumble.
A tower surged upward between the skyscrapers. The moon vanished from the night sky. A murder of crows blotted out the heavens. The ground split apart as crimson flames erupted from the cracks.
“Well, I’m fucked.”
Indeed. The world had more or less ended—because of the disasters I had carelessly unleashed.
