Afterword
Afterword
Hello, dear readers.
I am Caprese, the author who serialized [Kidnapped to Another World While FIRE-ing].
Somehow or other, the story has safely reached its conclusion.
Thank you so much for sharing my world with me.
I was really sad that there weren't as many readers as I thought there'd be, but I think it's thanks to you all that I was able to serialize it this far.
I guess it wasn't a very interesting story. I don't plan on quitting writing just because the performance wasn't great, but... I should try harder, right?
I will devote myself to bringing you even better stories.
When I was stuck in the corner of the rankings, oh... that was a shock.
If I get the chance, I hope that next time, I can greet you from the top rankings! so you won't have to go exploring in such humble places. ㅜ.ㅜ
Since this is an afterword, I can't help but explain the circumstances behind creating this story.
I tend to jot down ideas that pop into my head whenever possible.
The moment I first decided to serialize this novel was when I was called by the country.
Before I left, I wanted to unpack something.
You never know what might happen to a person.
I feel a desire to carve my existence somewhere where many people can see it.
Furthermore, I even think I want to leave a mark on the human species.
Though... that seems impossible for now.
Anyway, so I figured a long-form novel would be difficult, but I made a resolution to at least serialize a short story to completion!
And that's how I ended up telling a story based on 'FIRE (achieving financial independence to retire early and be liberated from labor)', which I was interested in at the time.
And, I finally did it.
I felt it throughout the serialization. I think I failed at pacing, and with the sudden shifts and frustrating elements, it feels like I made what's commonly called a hodgepodge....
Even if one doesn't dislike a hodgepodge, there is a certain taste that the royal road pursues.
There's obviously a reason why things are trendy.
I'm reflecting on the fact that I went overboard. ㅜ
There are many things to fix in many ways.
I also feel regretful because I think there were parts where I was rambling.
I don't know if the story was conveyed well and reached you.
Still, to those who occasionally left comments and pressed the like button, thank you for showing interest in my immature work.
Especially [moroogetsoyo]-nim, who supported me, you were a real source of strength.
Starting today, I think I'll be back in at least two years.
I'll thank you again, and I will make sure to return with an even better story.
If anyone has questions because the content was lacking, please feel free to ask!
Additionally, I would be grateful if you could tell me about any parts that were disappointing without holding back.
Then, goodbye!
