I Established a Territory at the Edge of the Land
I was craving the ocean so badly I felt like a crisp strand of fresh seaweed, so I pointed my feet toward Namhae, the southernmost tip of the peninsula. The air tasted of salt and freedom the moment I arrived, and that was when it happened.
I awakened my ability.
Before I could even process what that meant, I found myself in possession of a territory. Naturally, I did the only logical thing and summoned residents to populate it. Simple, right?
Except the people who answered the call were anything but ordinary. Not a single one of them. Elves with mischievous eyes, beastkin who looked ready to wrestle bears for fun, and more than a few beings whose origins I couldn’t even begin to guess. The longer I stared at them, the more I realized I might have opened a door I couldn’t close.
Still… since things had already reached this point, I figured there was only one reasonable response. I’d build the happiest, coziest life possible right here at the edge of the land. No more overthinking. No more past regrets. Just me, my strange new family, and the gentle waves of the southern sea.
