Soye's Jealousy: Minji Came First
"What's not to your liking?"
Soye continued, looking at me. "I held back because I couldn't do it for a while, but it was for our activities and because we were busy. I endured it, thinking, 'Once it's over, we'll have some fun time,' looking forward to treating you to something nice and even signaling on the way back that we should do it. But after all that, you went ahead and did it with Minji first instead of me. Isn't that too much?"
"Uh, yeah, you're right. Sorry."
What was this? Something felt off about her angle. Flustered, I spat out an unconditional apology anyway.
"That day, I waited so eagerly for you to come back after it ended. I thought you'd at least call once it was done, so I didn't even change out of my clothes and just stayed on standby! But then you come back after pouring everything into Minji..."
At a loss for words, I rolled my eyes and accidentally met Minji's gaze. She averted her eyes like she had nothing to say either.
"To the point where Minji passed out..."
"P-Passed out? No, it wasn't... quite that bad..."
"It was basically the same thing."
Soye cut off Minji's tacky defense like a knife.
"Not taking care of me first... not pouring it into me... doing Minji first... dumping all your energy into Minji... Sejin, you're really too much."
"I'm really sorry."
I never imagined she'd be mad for a reason completely different from what I'd thought.
"......."
With that, Soye fell silent, as if she had said everything she needed to. Whether that was really the issue or if there was something else, I needed to check first.
"...S-Sis."
"What."
"So... you're mad because I did it with Minji first... right?"
"Yeah."
Touching Minji was safe? I wanted to confirm that, but I couldn't bring myself to ask.
"Is there... anything else I did to disappoint you...?"
"What, did you do something else wrong?"
"No, no, nothing like that. Of course not."
I was convinced. To Soye, me touching Minji wasn't a big deal. The problem was only that I'd promised to do it with her but went to Minji first—and dumped all my pent-up lust on her, no less.
So the best thing was to gloss over that part without mentioning it now...
"You two doing it is, like, okay."
...or so I thought.
Soye brought it up herself.
"I already said I'd follow whatever you do, even talked about us as family and gave permission! And it's not just anyone—it's Minji, so..."
"H-Hoe..."
Minji's face flushed a bit at Soye's words.
"If it's Haeun or Minji, I'm fine sharing a little of my precious thing. And..."
Soye scanned Minji's body up and down.
"...you're exactly Sejin's type anyway."
"Ho, hoeep..."
Minji let out a weird exclamation, not sure if from shock or emotion. She looked at Soye, then me, then back to Soye, shaking her head side to side. She seemed pretty happy to hear she was my type.
I wonder what Soye thought my type was, anyway. Now I'm curious.
"Even so, I can't forgive you for doing Minji first."

Hmph. Soye snorted and crossed her arms. Still, seeing her words and attitude now, I started to relax a bit. It didn't seem like as big a deal as I'd feared, and more importantly, if that was the issue, I had a gift ready to soothe her heart.
"Sis, I'm sorry once more. I should've taken care of you first back then... But as an excuse, I was so worked up thinking about doing it with you that I couldn't hold back and ended up with Minji first."
"I heard from Minji. She said she appealed to you, saying she wanted to do it."
"No, that's... not it. Regardless, it was still my fault."
Let's just say it was all my fault alone.
"As compensation—might not be enough—but I prepared a gift. Something you'll like, and it'll show that I'm taking care of you first and foremost."
At my words, Soye gave me a curious look. I leaned forward and whispered the gift I'd been thinking of into her ear.
Her expression lit up with a hint of curiosity as she listened.
"Hmm..."
"What do you think?"
Soye fell quiet for a moment, as if pondering, then finally spoke.
Screeech.
"We're back."
"Oh, welcome back."
Late evening. Shin Soye returned to the dorm with Park Minji in tow, and Im Haeun greeted her.
"Nothing happen?"
"Nope, all good."
Nod. Soye answered coolly, and Minji nodded along.
"I'm beat. Gonna crash."
"S-Sis... good night..."
"Yeah. You too, Minji. Sleep well."
With that, Soye headed to her room, and Haeun turned to Minji.
"Did you two apologize with that jerk?"
"Y-Yeah... f-for now..."
Haeun grumbled at the response.
"Already done? Aww~"
With that, she flopped onto the sofa.
"Boooring~"
Haeun had wanted to watch Lee Sejin get screwed over. She'd expected Soye to sulk for a few weeks and torment him properly. So it felt oddly disappointing that she'd forgiven him so quickly.
'Well, it's weird for her to get mad about him doing Minji when I trained her together with him.'
She'd figured they'd make up eventually. But it being this short? A bit of a letdown.
Haeun's lips twitched with that thought.
"Sis..."
"Yeah?"
"Are you... mad or something...?"
"Mad? Why would I be?"
"I dunno why, but... your face looks a bit..."
"Nah, it's not that. Just bummed the fun show ended too soon."
"Sh-Show...?"
"Whatever, I'm heading to bed. You should too. You're exhausted from all the crying."
"Y-Yeah. G-Good night, sis..."
"Night."
With that, Haeun and Minji each retreated to their rooms.
As she entered her room, Minji absentmindedly glanced at the mirror. In the mirror on the dresser, Im Haeun stared back at her with a blunt, sullen expression—like she was disappointed about something.
"What's not to your liking?"
She smirked at her own reflection and flopped onto the bed.
'Tch, still, this is better. Sure, it's fun, but a wrecked vibe means constant tiptoeing around, and that's tiring.'
If time passed and it caused even a tiny rift in her relationship with Sejin, it could've hurt their idol activities. Haeun wouldn't just laugh it off then. Disappointing or not, it was a relief it ended quick...
'Hm.'
This lingering disappointment felt strangely off. Not just from the show ending early—something else. A sense of missing an opportunity stuck oddly in her chest.
'Ugh, am I like this 'cause he rejected me once before?'
He's apologized, so soon enough, like it or not, Sejin would ravage her again. If it was just sexual frustration, she could endure a bit. With that, Haeun shoved the weird feeling aside.
"Thanks to this new concept, we're hearing that our fanbase has expanded. Did you aim for that on purpose?"
"Ahaha, of course we hoped lots of people would check it out. But we've always felt that way—it's not like we picked the cute concept just for that."
In a Gangnam studio for a shoot, The Queens' interview was in full swing. I watched silently from the corner.
It was going by the prepared script, and the channel running it was reliable. No real need for me to hover and monitor live, but I was sticking around anyway—for Soye.
"......."
"......."
During the interview, Soye and I made eye contact. She met my gaze without a hint of reaction and turned right back to the interviewer.
Still not fully over it, huh.
Normally, she'd flash a smile in moments like this. But now she just brushed it off like she didn't care. Better than the silent treatment, but remnants of her grudge lingered.
Of course, I didn't expect one word to fix it all...
Last night, what I'd whispered to Soye was a sex proposal. Not just any sex, but a special one I thought would soothe her.
"Polynesian Sex—I can focus only on you for days. Feels amazing. You'll love it."
Polynesian Sex. A five-day ritual: tease without direct action for the first four days to build tension, then fully savor each other on the fifth. Basically, gather energy for four days and explode on the fifth. Perfect for my current sis, especially since it meant tending only to her for five days.
"Hmm..."
When she heard it, she showed curiosity but wasn't super enthusiastic. I desperately persuaded her.
"They say it's super satisfying. And guaranteed, these five days will be all about taking care of just you."
That was the key point. Five days dedicated solely to Soye—a special setup just for her. It matched perfectly why she'd felt slighted.
"Hng~"
"O-Of course, if you don't like it, just say no. But I suggested it hoping it'd help you feel better. I really think you'd enjoy it now."
"......."
"Or if not this, is there something else you want? I'll do anything to make you feel better."
Soye stared at me sullenly the whole time.
"I'm really sorry for disappointing you, sis. From now on, always you first."
I kept pleading earnestly. Finally, she smirked and softened.
"Jeez, you really do feel bad about it."
"Of course!"
"S-Sis... I'm sorry too... really..."
Minji chimed in from the side. Nice assist.
"Wh-What should I do, sis...?"
"You're fine."
"B-But..."
Soye extended a finger to cut Minji off and patted her head—a signal no more needed.
Wait, wasn't that too lenient on Minji? Sure, she kinda seduced me—maybe 10% my fault—but still, I felt a bit wronged.
"Alright, Sejin. I'll give your thing a shot."
She'd give me the chance to make her feel better properly. With that, Soye half-forgave me. And she'd been chilly ever since...
Now it's all on how well I do it.
When I realized she was sulking, I'd brainstormed countless ways to appease her—even maxed my brain in hypnosis mode to check. Then proposed something tailored to her exact grievance. It had to work.
<Our Ka Q Q Cute~>
As I moved to grab water for the girls, my phone rang—Boss.
"Yeah, Boss."
<Hey, Sejin. Didn't you guys do that MaxX pictorial in June? After the shoot, did you get anything from Producer Jun there?>
"That was... when Kim Su-hyeok handled everything, so I don't really know."
Happened during auto-mode on the hypnosis app, so no memory.
<Oh? Alright. Hanging up.>
"Yes."
Beep.
Casual hang-up.
Of course, that time's memory is wiped clean...
I tried reviving it with the app, but no dice.
Tch, oh well.
Forgotten is forgotten—focus on now. I grabbed the water and headed to Soye.
