Nameless Prison
NoName's stream, dubbed the Nameless Prison, was the kind of place that constantly pulled in aggro. All happy families resemble one another, but each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way—or so they say. The banned viewers who ended up in this camp came for all sorts of colorful reasons.
Manager 2, operating under the handle 'hellsmonster' and known as 'Helmon,' mercilessly cracked his whip at the prisoners.
"So, what's your crime?"
"Aaaagh! I'm sorry! I just spammed words starting with 'nong'—that's all...!"
"Joke, farming, countryside, trickery, nectar, concentrate? How the hell did this guy dodge a perma-ban?! Hey, machine gun! You gonna filter properly or what?!"
[Nameless Prison]
[Current Inmates: 474]
The true nature of the Nameless Prison was a forced unban request room. In other words, perma-banned viewers—like the prisoner whose head just flew off from that whip—were executed and no longer counted in the current numbers.
[Permanent Bans: 1,194]
"This is why we need more managers, right? Don't you see foreigners keep making alts to sneak in?"
With a mechanical whir, Manager 3—a cyberpunk-style woman whose entire body was made of machinery—detached her hand, firing a laser from her wrist that pierced a prisoner's heart.
She hadn't managed the camp in a while, and these guys who should've been executed long ago were running wild. Behind the scenes, tireless efforts were being made to shield a 14-year-old girl from the world's malice.
Finally, Manager 4, the No-Face, swallowed the corpses into its stomach, wrapping up the first round of purges.
[NoName has entered]
"I hope we only catch model prisoners."
Manager 1, 'GradStudentSaveMe,' muttered with deep worry. This world was full of crazies, after all.
"No no no no no! Just perma-ban that creep!"
Kirari covered my eyes and hit the kick button.
lmao, bye~
This wasn't even the abyss lololol
What the hell are the perma-banned ones
Middle schooler says anything
Let's all be gentlemen, folks
Through the iron bars of each cell, their crimes floated up. Their sins were the reckless chats they'd spammed.
I read the apologies aloud for those who bowed deeply in genuine remorse as I passed the corridor—out of the kindness of my heart.
"Be good next time."
"Yes! I'll turn over a new leaf and live righteously! Thank you, NoName!"
"Sorry, but back in you go."
"Huh?"
lololol
Didn't watch the stream? lolololol
It's Nami, not Name lolololololo
Sucked back into the black hole like a vortex, the man was dragged to his cell. His screams echoed, then faded away.
After pardoning those who'd briefly sided with malicious viewers in a moment of bad judgment, more and more cells emptied. Not perma-bans, but people who never returned to the stream. The bans were from quite a while back now.
Judging by the timestamp, it was around when I cleared World of Arceria Part 1. This guy probably never saw my clear.
First 10/10/10
Troll advice seems kinda cute now tbh
Just as I figured no one else was left and turned to go, I sensed a presence and led Kariri forward.
The ones in the last cell...
"Managers? What're you doing back there?"
"Ahh!"
"Mmph! Mmph! Mmph!"
"I told you to guard properly!"
"Didn't think she'd come all the way here...!"
The managers were tormenting a prisoner with tape wrapped tight around his mouth.
"Let me go already, damn it! NoName, isn't it time to come clean?"
The man shook off the managers gripping his arms and stepped forward.
"Look, I admit you're smart. I suck at math so I don't get it, but everyone says you're clever, so sure, whatever. But pretending your past never happened? That's a bit much, no?"
"Seems like plain aggro. Perma-ban?"
I decided to hear the man out a bit more quietly.
"You got reported in LoL. Saw it on the news recently and thought, 'Hey, I know that name'—from Delete's Docu Day 4, right? My memory's sharp like that."
The man grinned meaningfully, like he thought he'd rattled me.
"Wasn't digging on purpose at first, but once I did... so many sketchy bits. Tell me, NoName. Did you cheat?"
The deflating question united me and the viewers in disappointment.
That boomer tone checks out—old-school PC gamer?
No hacks possible in VR, boomer
Waste of time, just ban
Or maybe faked your age.
Hic! Kariri beside me startled at his added line, starting to hiccup.
Emboldened, the man snorted.
"You said you were an orphan, right? But under-15s need guardian consent for shutdown law bypass. Didn't think that far? And what, seven or eight years old ignoring shutdown for 16-hour days, 14 but a 'bug' let Nightmare run? Bullshit. Only idiots buy it."
Something's off;; Even with guardian, letting a 7yo game all day? Nah
Waresoft glossed over the bug too
"Be honest. You're not 14, NoName. What, selling drugs or something? Even if you are 14, you're a hacker who cracked the game company. Haha, damned if you do, damned if you don't?"
Rather than me bypassing shutdown or World of Arceria's firewall, he had my age dead wrong—in the opposite direction. At the press conference, I'd verified it, but he spun similar-ID account swaps to debunk viewer theories point by point.
Playing LoL at dawn? At 7? └ NoName was once plate rank #1
└ Fr?
Trolling's just kid stuff, let it slide
└ Yeah, adults raging at noobs in normals are the problem
Adult for real? Not 14?
└ No way!!!!!!
└ But looks 20+ tbh, hard to buy middle schooler
└ Not just me huh
NoName censors chat hard, but lotsa questions
└ Kariri's at her house rn wtf
└ Kariri's track record? Zero trust lol
"So why come back to my stream after months offline on a banned account?"
He'd been banned around September last year—before managers, one of the rare early 1-month bans from me.
Waiting till I showed? Pure intent to screw me over.
"Gotta live honest, yeah? Some slave away in the heat for cash—why not earn quiet? I don't want much. Just confess the truth, see if viewers stick by you like this."
His smug attitude reeked of envy.
"And if they do?"
"Huh?"
"I'll watch tomorrow if you repeat it. No ban—figure out your place and leave on your own."
What meaning lies in naming the nameless? A name is surely mine, yet strangely, others use it far more. Still, I can claim it firmly because a subtle fulfillment blooms when someone calls my name from their lips.
People begin relationships with names, end them with names.
You're not nameless. You have such a pretty name: Nami.
Locked in a nameless prison, I gained the name NoNami. From then, I bore the duty to live as NoNami forever. Bound to the world. Gained the foundation for bonds with others.
Our proud daughter, Nami.
Standing tall and making one's name known may be the greatest filial piety—repaying the grace of being named by spreading it.
My small heart thumped needlessly. Even I, who'd seen it all, felt the finals' novel thrill subtly.
Staring at the name on the electric panel, I must've been thinking of Seola the whole time.
I think it's a pretty name too.
A murmuring northwest wind blew in.
