Urban Legend
Hello, World of Arceria users. I'm Jang Seong-mun from QBS Game Magazine.
Last weekend, news broke that the NPC Adella had linked up with VR Space, and it's been blowing up ever since. If anyone has photos or videos taken with her, please reach out to 010-XXXX-XXXX or [email protected].
Additionally, if you have any personal info on streamer NoName, I'd greatly appreciate any tips.

The singularity has already arrived! We've been grinding VR Space for years in this gallery, but Adella felt zero out of place—like a real person. Folks who partied with her probably thought she was some foreigner new to VR and had a blast.
+) Adella's so cute and has the best personality lol. A few pushy types crossed lines, but she let it slide generously.

I flicked on the hologram projector and set it down in the middle of the room.
Click. The electronic device split open top and bottom, emitting a soft blue glow as it scanned the entire room.
Scan complete.
Hologram projecting aligned to these coordinates. Please do not move the device.
And finally, the cat-eared girl materialized in a shimmering ripple of light. She blinked a couple times, spotted me, and waved enthusiastically.
"Daebak! So this is what you look like IRL, unni? Kihihi, you're too cute! Can I hug you?"
"It's the same as my main avatar. Why the fuss? And it's a hologram anyway—we can't touch."
"So close yet so far~"
"What was that speech...?"
"Oh, this? Friends taught me last time!"
Without prompting, Adella launched into a rundown of her VR adventures. Especially at the amusement park—she claimed she'd shaken hands hundreds of times.
"Ugh... nearly went blind, though..."
"Blind? Someone shine a light in your eyes?"
"Nah, too early for you to know... But overall, super fun!"
The urban legend of an NPC partying with users in VR Space had hit the news cycles. Of course, they spun it as praise for WareSoft's tech rather than the main story.
The company hadn't said a peep about me bringing Adella along. Makes sense—this one's not the ASI core, just a derivative, so no leak worries. Plus, free promo for their game. They'd emailed late asking me to keep quiet till their announcement. Stock's mostly recovered anyway, so probably best if the higher-ups just play dumb.
"But this world's got one downside," she said, scanning my room.
"What's that?"
"You can drink booze here and not get drunk at all? Not needing the bathroom's nice, but booze without the buzz feels empty."
Adella sprawled on my private room bed—or whatever it looked like to her—pouting her woes. Would telling her she can't drink till 11 years from now comfort her? Doubt it. I ignored her bed-flailing and opened the closet.
"Heading out together today? Where to?"
"To see a guest of Professor Cheon's."
"Professor Cheon—the guy you live with?"
"My adoptive dad."
"Whoa, you were an orphan too?"
"...The vibe's off."
I didn't love bonding over that. Mid-April, but humid like summer. T-shirt and shorts felt off, mornings and nights still chilly. Compromise: yellow tee and denim overalls. I changed quick, stuffing my bag.
"Pfft! In that, you look like a chick!"
"...Wanna get left behind?"
"Aaa sorry sorry sorry! Take it back! Forgive me pleeease!"
She was getting too VR-soaked. I advised studying for real-world life later. VR Space is game extension, not reality—tough for her to grasp norms. Perfect timing: she begged to sightsee, chance today. With hologram lenses, she'd roam 1m radius, 360° view. Transparency on—no collisions. Private room must look ever-shifting to her.
"Let's go?"
"Yeah!"
April 2051. Clear skies, 25°C. Clutching the now blue octahedron projector, I walked Gangnam's bustling streets.
"Whoaaa... so many people..."
Way denser than VR. But cars outnumbered people. Adella glued to the highway speed demons.
"Where's everyone rushing to?"
"Lunch after work, this hour."
"Work? You work too?"
"Too young."
"Young = no work? Why?"
Her WoA values clashed; head tilt. Explained Korea's strict labor laws—kids school, no jobs.
"Then why skip school? Weekday."
"Absence note."
Heading to Korea University anyway—off-campus career experience perfect cover. Solo I'd taxi, but with her, bus back seat for the ride.
Whizzing scenery, crowds boarding/alighting busily. College kids rising signaled approach.
Ding-a-ling. Phone rang—Professor Cheon.
"Hello?"
[Ah, Nami. You there already?]
"Almost. At the main gate."
[Sorry, can you come to Advanced Materials Transmutation Lab instead of Bldg 3? Location changed suddenly—my bad.]
"Sure, got it."
[Bldg 131-1. Get off before uphill—easy find. Don't mix with next door.]
Next stop: New Materials. New Materials Joint Research Lab.
Second time at Korea University. Alighted spot deserted, quiet. Campus corner? Breathing forest-fresh air, hunting the building.
"Adella, hologram off for now. Can't inside."
"Aw, gotcha! Wait here—see ya!"
Powered down, shoved in bag. Heavy—shoulders sagged more. No key, door locked—not open to undergrads like others. About to call Professor when shoulder tapped. Turned casually.
The blue-labcoat woman gawked wide-eyed.
"By any chance... No... NoName?"
