Chae Jiyeong (1)
A few days later, Han Chae-a came to visit Seonwoo at the penthouse. She was fully back in work mode, standing politely in front of the desk in the study where Seonwoo sat, and began her report.
“Master, here is the report on the first-phase asset reallocation plan for the 5 billion won you instructed.”
“Already?”
“Yes. First, 3 billion won of the funds has been transferred to a paper company we established in the Cayman Islands. On paper, it's structured as investments in promising domestic startups, allowing us to claim tax reductions even on future profits.”
“And the remaining 2 billion?”
“The remaining 2 billion won will be laundered through an art purchase at a private auction opening this week, arranged via a gallery curator I know. I've secured an unpublished work by Master Kim Whanki that hasn't hit the market yet. It's guaranteed to yield at least 30% profit above market value right after purchase.”
“Anything else?”
“For your comfortable lifestyle, Master, I've hired a driver and a housekeeper. They're all long-time industry veterans with verified backgrounds and sealed lips. Their resumes are on the desk.”
She had handled even aspects Seonwoo hadn't considered, proving her competence perfectly. Seonwoo skimmed the documents with a satisfied look.
“I like how you handle things. Keep it up.”
Seonwoo nodded in satisfaction at her report. Han Chae-a simply bowed her head quietly.
On weekend morning, Seonwoo said to Yoo Sori,
“Sori, wanna go shopping today?”
“Shopping? Yay! There's this outfit I've been wanting!”
Yoo Sori beamed like a kid. Seonwoo took the car Han Chae-a had prepared and headed to a massive department store in Gangnam with her. It was Seonwoo's first time in a place like this, and he felt a bit awkward glancing sideways, but Yoo Sori's eyes were wide as saucers at the flashy luxury hall too.
“Whoa... Oppa, why is everything here so expensive? It looks like they added an extra zero!”
She clung to Seonwoo's arm, gasping at every price tag. Seonwoo couldn't help but chuckle at how cute she was.
“Nothing you like?”
“No way! It's all so pretty... but way too pricey... I'll just window-shop.”
Seonwoo led her into one store, right to the bag that looked prettiest to him.
“What about this one?”
“Wooow! It's so gorgeous! Whoa...”
Seonwoo thought, How can a woman over twenty be this pure? as he checked the price tag. The bag was marked at 8 million won. He paused in surprise for a second, then casually pulled out his card.
“I'll take this one.”
“Huh? Oppa, it's too expensive! It's fine!”
“My girl deserves to carry something like this. Pick out everything you like. I'll buy all the pretty stuff.”
Yoo Sori's face lit up with emotion. She really picked out a few more outfits, shoes, and bags she loved. As they left the department store, shopping bags filling both hands, she asked,
“Oppa didn't buy anything for himself?”
“I'm good. Seeing you happy makes me happy too.”
He showed a side utterly different from how he treated others—endlessly tender. Yoo Sori felt bliss in his love, falling for him even deeper.
After shopping, the two headed to a top-tier Hanwoo omakase restaurant, another spot Han Chae-a had reserved in advance. Prime cuts of Hanwoo were grilled right before their eyes, with the chef explaining each cut.
“Whoa... It melts in your mouth, melts!”
Yoo Sori ate the meat with a blissful expression. Seonwoo watched her warmly. Having grown up an orphan, sharing a meal like this at a place this nice was a first for him. In his stable relationship with Yoo Sori, he felt true happiness and peace. She was his one sanctuary.
“Oppa, eat lots too! Ahh~”
Yoo Sori fed him a perfectly grilled tenderloin piece. Seonwoo ate it awkwardly but gratefully, the rich juices filling his mouth and warming his heart.
Back at the penthouse after their date, Seonwoo sat on the sofa watching TV when Chae Jiyeong suddenly crossed his mind. He hadn't contacted her once since that day.
That woman... wonder how she's doing now. Did she delete her alt account? Or is she still posting her slutty pics? Is she waiting for me, or did she write me off as a one-night nightmare?
Unable to hold back his curiosity, he logged into her SNS alt account. Surprisingly, it wasn't deleted. In fact, a new photo had been uploaded a few days ago—with the caption [Feeling extra lonely today...] and a shot of her thighs.
She's been waiting for me.
He smirked in satisfaction and stood up. He said to Yoo Sori,
“Sori, I'm heading out for a bit.”
“Where to, Oppa?”
“Uh... grabbing a coffee.”
Seonwoo headed straight to Jiyeong's cafe.
The quiet cafe near closing time. Chae Jiyeong stared blankly out the window, lost in thought. Then, the bell on the door tinkled clearly. She glanced up casually—and froze. It was Seonwoo.
“Uh...! How... here...?”
“Thought I'd grab a coffee. Closing time?”
Seonwoo smiled casually as he approached the counter. He stared at her for 3 seconds, activating Harem Scan.
As expected.
He stood at the counter, staring straight at her.
“How about dinner tonight? I'd love to eat with you, Jiyeong.”
His sudden visit and polite invitation left her speechless for a moment. But since she'd been waiting for his contact, she couldn't refuse.
“...Sure, that's fine.”
“Great. Finish closing up and come out. I'll wait outside.”
He left the cafe and leaned against his car. Moments later, Chae Jiyeong emerged in casual clothes and gaped at the multi-million-won supercar parked in front. Seonwoo naturally opened the passenger door for her.
While she closed up the cafe, Seonwoo called Han Chae-a to reserve a nearby fine-dining restaurant.
“Impressive. Places like this are hard to book.”
“Haha. Gotta put in the effort for a date with a lady.”
After dinner, Seonwoo took her to the sky lounge bar on the top floor of a hotel. The stunning night view, pricey cocktails, and Seonwoo's languid gaze slowly melted her defenses.
He no longer prodded her weaknesses. Instead, he praised her strengths, approaching her as a woman.
“You look even prettier smiling today, Jiyeong. It's a waste keeping you cooped up in that cafe.”
“You're too kind.”
“No, I mean it. I've thought that since I first saw you. Why's someone like you in such a tiny cafe?”
“I just... wanted somewhere quiet.”
“I see. But jewels shine even when hidden.”
His gentle demeanor confused her. The man who blackmailed her, and the man who saw her as a woman. Caught between the two, she began falling for him without realizing it.
“Um... Seonwoo, what kind of person are you, really?”
“Guess you'll find out as you get to know me.”
He set down his glass and gently took her hand.
“I booked a suite here. Wanna head up?”
He phrased it as a question, but his eyes allowed no refusal.

Hotel suite. Chae Jiyeong followed Seonwoo in without resistance. She stood by the window, lost in thought for a moment, then gazed at his back.
“Seonwoo.”
“Yeah.”
“Why me?”
She mustered her courage to ask.
“Just... liked you. From the first moment I saw you.”
Seonwoo turned to face her.
“You saw the photo I posted recently... right?”
“Yeah.”
“And you still liked me? Didn't think I was dirty or trashy?”
“Not at all. It turned me on even more.”
His honest answer brought an unwitting smile to her face. She approached him and kissed his lips first. This wasn't submission to blackmail—it was her own choice.
Yeah, this is more fun. Forcing her to submit is hot, but making her kneel on her own is even hotter.
Seonwoo accepted her kiss, wrapping his arms around her waist. He scooped her up and set her down in front of the floor-to-ceiling window with its city view. Then, he slowly unzipped her dress.
