Heretics (1)
The Abyss. It was a world where humanity’s endless delusions and malice gathered like iron filings to a magnet, endlessly piling up and being discarded. As that malice and darkness accumulated without limit, it filled the deep, dark, isolated realm known as the Abyss. Saturated with sufficient malice and darkness, the Abyss began to erode the human world—the material world—swallowing everything and bringing ruin. At the end of the world the Abyss desired, only emptiness would remain, an absolute darkness where not even a single ray of light could linger.
Humans who lived and settled in the material world had long been at odds with the yoai—monstrous beings born from souls that had wandered the nine heavens and fallen into corruption. Now they faced a new, terrifying enemy called the Abyss, one they had no choice but to survive. Small cracks of the Abyss appeared throughout their cities, and from those fissures spilled forth malice they were forced to endure.
Yet the shamans who had long purified and laid to rest corrupted souls, and the guardian deities who had protected human spirits since ancient times, realized that the Abyss was essentially no different from the yoai. Though difficult, they could still reliably eliminate it. However, there were also those who became fascinated by the Abyss. They hid among ordinary humans, unknown to all.
“The Abyss is the ultimate destination of evolution that imperfect humans must pursue.”
They called themselves the Abyss Cult and began drawing lost souls toward the Abyss.
“For the sake of everyone’s perfection, for the sake of the Abyss—willingly offer up your lives.”
They were heretics.
“Amen.”
“……Amen.”
And in that place, a gloomy girl with dark purple hair like the Abyss itself was hoping for salvation.
“I…… have to bring her back, don’t I……?”
“Of course. I believe you can do it.”
For some reason, even the Divine Dragon—who sealed and purified the Abyss—had failed to notice them as they continued their work within the cult.
“My faithful priest, Priestess Yu Ara.”
“……I’ll be on my way, Cardinal Dawon.”
Soon, they would point their unclean fingers toward…… the very peak of blasphemy.
“Her name is…… Niyu, was it?”
Right now, their target was the shrine in the Great Cavity—the center of both the Abyss rampage incident and the White Night incident.
A few weeks had passed since the incident was safely resolved. The shrine was utterly peaceful. Thanks to the successful reconstruction of the seal after stopping the violent Abyss rampage, there was no sign of the Abyss boiling up and breaking through the seal in the forest. People walked peacefully through the woods and offered greetings at the shrine, maintaining good relations with us.
Perhaps because of that, Shinryong and I had simply fallen into a leisurely daily life, exchanging nothing but idle complaints. It was during one of those days.
“Lately, I cannot seem to shake this ominous feeling.”
During a typical leisurely afternoon, as we drank green tea together, Shinryong spoke. I tilted my head at her voice. Even though she wore a languid expression on the surface, she shifted uncomfortably in her seat.
“What on earth could this be……”
A fresh spring breeze blew as we sat in the hallway with the door wide open, drinking tea. I gazed at the butterflies fluttering in the yard for a moment, lost in thought, then said jokingly:
“……You should probably stop using the dildo.”
“That does not mean I am dissatisfied with your…… manhood.”
Of course, Shinryong insisted that using toys did not mean she was unsatisfied with my length. Still, it was common sense that using them too much would ruin one’s senses and make ordinary sex unsatisfying. I closed my eyes and spoke while sipping my tea with a dignified air.
“For someone who says that, you’ve been putting a collar on me lately and swinging a whip around quite a bit…… Hmm.”
Shinryong’s face flushed deeply. Her emotions showed more transparently than usual as she shyly looked toward the yard.
“I-it’s because you keep…… doing this and that to me first……”
She tried to speak firmly at first, but her voice quickly trailed off as she averted her gaze. I smiled and looked at her with a sidelong glance full of affection. Blushing, Shinryong gazed at the distant sky while her tail swayed gently. She glanced at me several times before wrapping her tail around my arm and pulling me closer.
I let myself be drawn in by her tail and leaned my shoulder against hers.
“……Still, be careful.”
At Shinryong’s quiet voice, I nodded and slipped my hand into hers, which rested on her properly folded knees, intertwining our fingers.
“Just in case, wherever you go, make sure to be cautious.”
I closed my eyes, stretched my body, and answered in a drawn-out voice.
“Yeees~”
I replied with a voice full of love and affection. Shinryong stared down at me for a moment before closing her eyes, raising her hand, and lightly chopping the top of my head.
“Nyeong——”
“Do not answer half-heartedly. I am being serious.”
Of course, I had not meant to answer half-heartedly—I had simply wanted to act coy.
“I-I answered seriously too……”
Perhaps Shinryong had simply wanted to show affection as well. She pulled my sulky face into a tight embrace.
“Hmph, is that so.”
“Yes……”
She pressed her cheek against my head and smiled contentedly. I could only pout and rub the top of my head, but when Shinryong kept rubbing her cheeks against my face while making pleased little sounds, my mood eventually improved as well, and I broke into a smile.
“——What shall we do for dinner tonight?”
After showering me with affection, Shinryong set down her empty teacup and asked. I was considering the many ingredients still left in the fridge and thinking up various dishes when she watched me for a moment, then wrapped her tail around my waist and gently stroked my back with the tip.
“There is no need to make anything too elaborate. I would eat well even if you simply handed me feed.”
She smiled, perhaps wanting to ease my burden since I always handled all the housework. Afraid she might actually eat feed, I resolved to make the most delicious meal possible—one so good that even if she were starving, she would never think of touching feed.
“……Ah.”
Ramen. Yes, it had to be ramen. If I made the most perfectly cooked ramen, then no matter how hungry she got, she would never think of feed! After all, any normal person would naturally crave ramen over feed. So tonight’s dinner would be the finest ramen—cooked with egg, cheese, green onions, and minced garlic stir-fried in oil with chili powder to create a chili oil base. Since Shinryong liked spicy food, she would definitely enjoy it. For a side dish, I would stir-fry some chicken. I had bought chicken but left it too long, so with spicy ramen as the main dish, I planned to make a milder soy sauce-based seasoning. Still, I had to cook it today before it went bad……
“What are you thinking about?”
As I pondered dinner, Shinryong squeezed my hand and asked. I gave her a confident smile and told her my thoughts. Upon hearing “ramen,” Shinryong smiled expectantly and told me to make the best ramen capable of satisfying her. To create that ultimate ramen, I stood up and put on an apron. But then……
“Shinryong-nim, this outfit is really……”
“……No, it is necessary.”
Shinryong quickly approached and snatched the simple cooking apron from my hands. She brought me the maid outfit I had worn before and asked me to put it on. I wondered if I really had to wear something like this just to cook, but when Shinryong looked at me with sparkling ruby eyes, I eventually gave in and changed into the maid outfit……
“You look incredibly arousing, Niyu.”
“That’s vulgar, Shinryong-nim……”
Together with Shinryong, who watched my cooking process intently from the side, we enjoyed a delicious dinner——no, rather……
“Would it not be acceptable…… if you fed me mouth-to-mouth?”
“……”
We enjoyed a tasty dinner playtime.
“Shinryong-nim, that’s vulgar……”
Of course, I had not exactly enjoyed it in a wholesome manner either. Well, if someone wearing such a vulgar outfit said that, it was only natural it would be arousing. I suppose it counted as seduction…… ufufu.
