MT Games (2): Blushes, Confessions, and Sexy Dances
"Kyaa~ Seeing you all blush like that is so adorably freshman-like and fresh. This senior is delighted. Heh heh heh."
The MC let out a lecherous chuckle as she tossed out her line. Her words alone made her sound like a full-blown middle-aged guy, but surprisingly, the host was a pretty second-year girl. Whether it was just her MC script or her real personality, the gap between her cute face and those sleazy remarks was huge.
The host pointed at the male student at the far end of the participants lined up in front.
"Heh heh heh. We gave a point to the first one out, so we should give something to the last one too, right? Oh, were you expecting something? Sorry! Instead, you'll get the chance to reveal your note first! Come on, say it!"
The guy hesitated, looking a bit embarrassed, before mumbling,
"Th-the prettiest person..."
After the timid guy's words landed...
"Kyaaaaah!"
"She's pretty! Mi-jeong's pretty!"
"Kyaa, what do I do!"
The auditorium exploded with excitement. The host chuckled lecherously again and said,
"What's your name over there, underclassmen?"
"...Kang Ji-chan."
"Kang Mi-jeong."
The host pointed at Kang Mi-jeong.
"What do you think of Ji-chan, Mi-jeong? He says you're the prettiest."
Seo Joo-hwan couldn't hold back his snickering as he watched the two.
Ah, youth. Too bad there's no popcorn.
The guy sneaking glances at his partner, hoping for the best, and the girl shooting him a quick look while thinking it over. It might be nerve-wracking for him, but from a third-party view, it was hilarious. Especially watching it live from right next to them.
As he grinned like an idiot, Jeong Ha-yeon whispered with a disgusted look.
"Hey, your grin is creepy."
"Kuh. So innocent."
"Ew. You sound like a forty-year-old uncle."
"Make it thirty if you're gonna go there."
"What the hell?"
While the two bantered, the host prodded the girl, Kang Mi-jeong.
"And now, Mi-jeong's response?!"
Kang Mi-jeong glanced at Kang Ji-chan and replied,
"He's pretty handsome."
"Kyaaaaah!"
"You two look great together!"
"Date! Date!"
The students went wild again, and Kang Ji-chan's face lit up with a beaming smile. The host grinned along before calming the crowd.
"Everyone, quiet down! It feels like she has more to say! Go on, Mi-jeong."
"Hm. He is handsome, but he's not my type."
"Ah..."
Kang Ji-chan let out a sigh of disappointment, his face turning beet red. For a split second, silence hung in the auditorium. Jeong Ha-yeon shook her head.
"Public execution. Poor guy."
"Yeah, that's rough..."
But that was part of the charm of freshman MTs. And hey, it was someone else's problem anyway!
The host, momentarily thrown by Kang Mi-jeong's response, quickly comforted Kang Ji-chan.
"Uh, um. J-Ji-chan? Don't be too bummed. I guarantee it—you're handsome! Right, everyone?!"
"Woooah! Kang Ji-chan, you're handsome!"
"Ji-chan's cool!"
The students' cheers rang out in support. But would that really help? In Seo Joo-hwan's eyes, it felt like killing him twice over.
The MC kept going. You couldn't just tease one person. The student council had probably planned for every scenario when setting up the game. The next notes were things like "someone I want to get close to," "cute," "want to exchange numbers with," and one guy who picked "want to get close to" ended up dragging out the same dude, turning it into a laugh riot.
"Next up... the one and only second-year guy. Sigh. I thought it'd just be freshmen, but a second-year had to butt in cluelessly! Boo him, everyone!"
"Boooo!"
Her voice stayed cheerful, but there was a hint of snark. The target of the boos, Baek Jeong-gi—a second-year—froze for a second before laughing it off.
"Haha. I'm the second-year who barged in cluelessly. My group's freshman seemed like she didn't want to go, so I stepped in instead..."
"So what did your note say?"
The host cut him off abruptly. As the mood started getting awkward, she flashed a grin.
"Our second-year class prez! Reveal it!"
"Haha... 'Someone I want to eat with.'"
"Ooooh~."
The students hooted like with the others. Then she asked the girl. The girl glanced around nervously before nodding shyly. Jeong Ha-yeon, watching him, muttered under her breath,
"Fucking psycho."
"Agreed."
Seo Joo-hwan clicked his tongue in agreement. In this atmosphere, it wasn't easy for an underclassman to turn down a senior's casual dinner invite. Knowing Baek Jeong-gi's personality, he'd probably orchestrated this on purpose.
Next was Lee Seok-chan's turn. Grinning confidently at the host's question, he revealed his note boldly.
"Mine was... a sexy person!"
"Kyaaaaah!"
"Woooah! Seok-chan oppa's awesome!"
Unlike the others, his shameless delivery got the crowd hyped. And the girl he'd brought out, Im Su-jeong, had long limbs and a mature look beyond her years that totally fit "sexy." The host laughed, clearly amused.
"What makes her so sexy?"
"Hmm. Can I even say? You'll take responsibility, right, sunbae?"
"Eek! No! Don't say it! My bad! Instead, how about a sexy dance for us?"
"I'm fine with it... Su-jeong?"
Lee Seok-chan glanced at her like what can ya do? She, no slouch herself, let out a light chuckle and nodded. The student council cranked up the music, and the two started bouncing casually. Then, as the main beat dropped, Lee Seok-chan suddenly pulled Im Su-jeong close, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"Kyaaaaah!!"
Wild cheers erupted again, but Im Su-jeong upped the ante, using his shoulder for support as she spun, hit a wave, and ran her hand down her leg.
"Kyaa, insane! You two should date!"
"Perfect match!"
Seo Joo-hwan whistled in admiration as he watched.
Crazy bastard. Is this what an innie is like?
As far as he remembered, even pre-regression Lee Seok-chan hadn't gone this far. Was it the different group? Or a different note?
As Seo Joo-hwan chuckled in awe, Jeong Ha-yeon nudged him.
"Hey, what'd you get?"
"Huh?"
"Don't tell me it's something like Seok-chan's."
Her eyes rolled suspiciously, looking a bit anxious. Was she worried about keeping her prim image, or just lacked dance confidence? Seo Joo-hwan snickered.
"Why? Nervous? It's not a sexy dance, at least."
"Oh, what is it then."
"Wanna dance for Ha-yeon?"
"We seriously have to dance?"
"Lacking confidence?"
Teasing her, Jeong Ha-yeon made a dumbfounded face before scoffing.
"Hmph. Me? I'm confident in most physical stuff."
Her cocky expression seemed genuine. She just didn't want the spotlight.
Soon, Lee Seok-chan and Im Su-jeong's dance time wrapped up. Now it was Seo Joo-hwan and Jeong Ha-yeon's turn.
"Last team, reveal! Oh? You two are both twenty-three? And one's a first-year senior older than me?"
Seo Joo-hwan scratched his eyebrow awkwardly.
"I enrolled and took a leave right away. Then army delayed my return."
"Ooh, army vet! Loyalty! Thanks for protecting the country!"
"Thank you."
"But even army vet seniors have to reveal! Why'd you bring out this pretty lady? Show the note!"
Seo Joo-hwan unfolded the paper as instructed. She blinked, tilted her head, and read it.
"Someone who looks like they can fight well?"
The wildly different content brought a brief hush. But only briefly.
"Puhahaha!"
"Ahaha! Oppa! Why would Ha-yeon unnie fight well?!"
"Seo Joo-hwan! Just say you wanted to come out with Jeong Ha-yeon!"
Laughter exploded in the auditorium. Especially their group 7 members booed him mercilessly. The host shrugged dramatically, feigning confusion.
"Someone who looks like they can fight? But she seems so gentle—doesn't fit. The height maybe?"
"Gasp. You guys just don't know," Seo Joo-hwan waved it off, pretending to be scared as he stepped back from Jeong Ha-yeon. "This one's wild. I'd lose in a fight."
He said it with utter sincerity. But the students just booed in unison.
"Boooo!"
"Pfft. Lame joke. Better to just say she's pretty and you wanted to pair up."
"Ha-yeon unnie's pretty!"
"Boo! Joo-hwan oppa, reflect!"
They'd all worn their masks so well that everyone thought it was a gag and laughed. Pure 100% truth, though.
You think this is a joke? One glimpse of her death glare from an unseen angle would change minds fast. They could laugh because they didn't see it. Only Lee Seok-chan, who knew the deal, shot him a sympathetic look... nah, he was laughing hardest.
Gonna die laughing, you punk.
Anyway, with the last note revealed, the game kicked off.
"Now, pairs up on the newspapers! You know the newspaper game, right? Newspapers on the floor, stand on them. Fold one section each round. Bodies get closer over time."
By the third fold, four teams dropped out in a heap, leaving Seo Joo-hwan, Baek Jeong-gi, and Lee Seok-chan's teams.
"Fourth fold! Use your heads now. Or hug tight, or piggyback. Heh heh heh."
The host chuckled sleazily again. After the fourth fold, the space shrank drastically. Tip-toeing together wouldn't cut it anymore. Jeong Ha-yeon, competitive fire lit, said,
"Joo-hwan, stand first. I'll step on your feet."
"What's your weight? Over sixty and my feet'll crush... Ow! Words, use words!"
"Stand straight. You dragged me out—lose and you're dead. Show me that fighting skill."
"You been holding that against me?"
"Watch it. I did judo back in the day."
Judo? No arguing that. Seo Joo-hwan nodded quick. Mess up here, and he'd be flipped.
"Sorry. Whatever you say."
"Heh. Then stand already. I'm under sixty."
He chuckled at that. He knew she wasn't heavy—her status window showed 173cm, 57kg. For her height, even 60+ would be well-managed. He stood on the paper, and she stepped onto his feet carefully. Glancing around nervously, she asked,
"Heavy?"
"Yeah. Feels like my feet are flattening. Need diet tips? I'll train you."
"I'm gonna kill you..."
"Kidding. Posture okay? You look wobbly."
"Ugh. Balance is hard."
The tiny space made it tough. His size 280 feet helped, but hers weren't small for a girl. Looking down, he slid his hands over.
"Grab my neck."
"What? Hey! Hands off!"
"For balance."
"Tch. Got history, so I don't trust you. One pass—this time. Remembering it."
He looped his hands behind her back to her waist. Pulling gently stabilized her.
Her waist is slimmer than I thought. Not scrawny—lean muscle under her thin shirt. Judo checked out. Instead of his neck, she gripped his shoulders. The host's count ended, and cheers erupted.
"Kyaaaaah!"
"What the—everyone!"
Not just for them. Cramped space forced similar poses, bodies pressed close. Lee Seok-chan's duo looked ready to kiss. Then Jeong Ha-yeon, glued tight, called in a chilly voice,
"...Seo Joo-hwan."
"Yeah?"
"Something's poking my stomach."
"......"
Speechless, Seo Joo-hwan mentally recited the national anthem. His precious friend had sprung up, pressing against her lower belly. Jeong Ha-yeon hissed, glaring daggers.
"Pervert."
"...Sorry. Physiological reaction."
"Sorry? Then stop poking."
"Really sorry..."
"We'll settle this later."
She whispered murderously in his ear. No defense, he focused on calming down.
Gonna lose it. Three days without... should've jerked off.
Built-up tension plus close contact did it.
She's bustier than the slender vibe. Pressed tight, he felt her chest. He willed it down successfully. Any later, and total humiliation in front of the department.
"Three, two, one! Done!"
Count over, he stepped back fast. Not fully erect, so manageable.
"Group 3 out! 6 and 7 pass!"
Baek Jeong-gi's team dropped. Just Seo Joo-hwan and Lee Seok-chan left. The host pushed on.
"Fold the paper! Can't even lift a foot now. Doubt both survive? Endurance wins this round. Dinner time anyway. Hungry! Up quick!"
"Hungry! Hurry up!"
"Boo. Let's eat!"
Students jeered on cue. Dinner time already. Seo Joo-hwan and Jeong Ha-yeon puzzled over it. No way— even solo needed tip-toes; duo impossible.
"Three seconds! Three, two..."
"Ha-yeon, hold still—lifting you."
"What? Eek?!"
A rare squeak from Jeong Ha-yeon. Seo Joo-hwan scooped her up princess-style. Lee Seok-chan did the same beside them. Both guys cradling girls, cheers exploded again. Twenty-year-olds full of vigor, voices untiring. Cradled, she looked up.
"Stronger than you look? Not heavy?"
"Train with heavier."
"Hey, at least say I'm not."
"Heavy—don't talk or I'll drop you."
"Ass."
About ten seconds of banter later, a crash nearby. Lee Seok-chan wobbled and toppled, twisting to cushion Im Su-jeong underneath. Weird he'd last only that with his reflexes.
Intentional. Sneaking a butt grope confirms it.
"Newspaper game winners: Group 7! 300 points to them! Now, dinner! Line up by score!"
As the host announced, Jeong Ha-yeon pinched his arm.
"Put me down now?"
He set her down reluctantly, smacking his lips. Felt nice holding her.
*
After dinner, Seo Joo-hwan returned from smoking with Jo Kyung-jun and Lee Seok-chan. He felt Jeong Ha-yeon's jealous stare from behind—what could he do? Her choice. Time till recreation. Lee Seok-chan headed to group 6's room; Seo Joo-hwan and Jo Kyung-jun to group 7's.
"You okay?"
"Tell student council first."
"Ha-yeon unnie's handling it."
"Hye-young unnie?"
"Oppa couldn't find them either."
The room was chaotic. Groupmates crowded Jang Deok-hoon in a tense huddle. Seo Joo-hwan stepped in.
"What's going on?"
