Possessiveness (6)
It was a KakaoTalk message thick with genuine fury.
'Shit, I forgot. Seok-chan lives next door.'
Jeong Ha-yeon and Lee Seok-chan were longtime friends who'd ended up at the same university and rented rooms in the same building. That meant the guy was right behind the thin wall in front of him.
'Studio apartment soundproofing...'
Seo Joo-hwan clicked his tongue. Studio apartments—especially the cheap ones near campus—were never great to begin with. Some were even illegally renovated without meeting code.
"At least this building's decent enough."
No illegal mods here. For the rent, the location and facilities were pretty solid. But the shitty soundproofing typical of campus studios was unavoidable, it seemed.
Realizing Lee Seok-chan had probably heard everything from last night's chaos to this morning's antics made a wave of embarrassment crash over him.
Seo Joo-hwan fired off a KakaoTalk to Lee Seok-chan.
He seemed seriously pissed.
Seo Joo-hwan chuckled as he turned off his smartphone.
'Asshole. Thanks for the consideration at night, though.'
Better this way, he thought. Not that he was grateful for broadcasting their fuck session, of course. Even he wouldn't want that—it was embarrassing and shitty. Who'd want some other guy hearing their girlfriend moan?
But seeing Lee Seok-chan's genuine disgust put him at ease.
'At first, I wondered if this guy had a thing for Ha-yeon.'
Makes sense—eight years as friends, man and woman. Had they never felt sparks? Before dating her, it never crossed his mind. But after? Yeah, the doubts crept in sometimes.
Did Lee Seok-chan have feelings for Jeong Ha-yeon? That's why he'd announced their relationship right after it started.
'No need to worry.'
Total misunderstanding. Lee Seok-chan's reaction back then—and now—showed zero jealousy or annoyance. Hell, they seemed more like siblings.
The realization lifted his mood, drawing out a grin. Jeong Ha-yeon was his girl, completely.
"Joo-hwan-ah, food's ready!"
"Yeah, coming."
After eating, Seo Joo-hwan suggested moving spots to Jeong Ha-yeon.
"Ha-yeon-ah, you done with homework?"
"Oh, right. I did a bit then totally forgot. Someone kept groping me till I ran away."
"Haha..."
She'd come over to work on assignments, but he'd gone full caveman, so she'd fled home. Then dates ate up any study time.
"Let's do homework today."
"At your place?"
"We both need computers, right?"
"Hmm. No ulterior motives?"
She narrowed her eyes suspiciously, and Seo Joo-hwan smirked. As if homework was all he had in mind.
"You hate it?"
"...Not hating it. But guys get tired if they keep going, right? Since yesterday... that's five times already."
"Hmm. Your boyfriend's got some insane stamina."
"Eww."
He bragged hard, and she grimaced in disgust. Her gaze naturally drifted downward, and he felt his cock grow heavy under her stare.
Seeing it swell in real time, Jeong Ha-yeon's face fell in horror. What the hell kind of libido wouldn't quit?
Her boyfriend clearly had abnormally high sex drive.
'We went so hard.'
She could still feel it leaking out inside her.
'...Whatever.'
Like she'd said, she didn't hate it. Far from it—the new sex felt way better than expected, addictive even.
"Coffee?"
"Yeah."
"Hot or cold?"
"Got ice? Ice if you do."
"Ice it is."
Seo Joo-hwan always kept coffee and ice stocked. Not all writers needed it, but he did—coffee and smokes to get the words flowing.
"Here."
"Thanks."
They sipped coffee while firing up Photoshop and InDesign. The assignment was basic shapes.
Jeong Ha-yeon, who'd handled Photoshop since before college, breezed through, even finishing variations for extra credit. She glanced at Seo Joo-hwan's screen.
He was just saving his variations too—and more skillfully than her.
"Joo-hwan, you learned Photoshop too?"
"What? Pfft. Puhahaha."
"...What's so funny all of a sudden?"
His sudden laughter furrowed her brows, but she soon realized why, her scowl turning flustered.
"Kukuku. They said you sucked at Photoshop in class, so you asked me for help. And now 'you too'?"
"Ah..."
Jeong Ha-yeon flushed, remembering how she'd pretended incompetence during Friday's class to get his help.
Seo Joo-hwan kept laughing, ruffling her hair.
"Puhuhu. So cute, what to do."
"...Just let it slide!"
"Puhahaha!"
"Ugh, stop laughing!"
"Oof! I was complimenting you!"
"You were teasing!"
She thumped his chest lightly. He faked dying from the soft punches.
That pissed her off more, so she scowled and chugged her coffee.
"Haha, mad?"
"Laugh more and I'll really get mad."
"Got it, no more laughing. Puh... Homework done?"
"Yeah. Finished faster than expected. Should've brought a book."
Jeong Ha-yeon said that, sneaking a peek at him. It wasn't even evening yet—time hanging loose.
Naturally, her mind wandered to what still felt leftover inside her.
Sure enough, he grinned and leaned in close.
Post-last night, their skinship felt natural. Lips met smoothly, tongues slipped in, saliva swapped.
Feeling his tongue entwine hers, she cracked her eyes open slightly.
He was smirking smugly.
So damn annoying!
'Too fucking skilled, you idiot!'
Something that never bugged her before grated now.
'He said two others...'
First girlfriend was her. The "two" meant sex partners, obviously.
Even that was hard to believe. No long-term flings without dating, yet this skilled from just two? Kissing wasn't even his only talent.
Smack... kiss... slurp...
'At least pretend to suck.'
Too good to even get mad. She'd barely masturbated, yet sex felt this good first time? Just kissing had her body hypersensitive.
When breathing through her nose got tough, he pulled back.
"Tastes like coffee. Puhu."
"Yeah. Sticky from the coffee."
"Oho. That sounded kinda dirty."
"What?!"
"Haha. Wanna smoke?"
"...Huh?"
Jeong Ha-yeon's eyelids twitched at the random pivot. Cigarette now?
Seo Joo-hwan continued casually.
"Can smoke inside or on the balcony. Dudes upstairs smoke anyway."
"Hmm. Sure. Was craving one anyway."
She hesitated, then nodded. Bit of a letdown, but now she wanted it bad.
"Sorry, Ha-yeon-ah. Mind if I write for a bit?"
"Write?"
"Yeah. Stockpiling chapters before I run out. Hour or two."
Jeong Ha-yeon's eyes sparkled. She'd heard about his writing on their date, planned to read someday. Last night delayed it, but now curiosity surged.
"Can I watch?"
"Uh... sure, but when I'm locked in, I tune everything out. Cool?"
"Yeah. Focus is good."
"Bored? Books in that room, help yourself. Or wanna read mine? Use my phone—no paywall."
"Got it."
She nodded, watching him write from the side.
He dove in like a switch flipped—scary focus.
Tap tap tap—clack—tap tap!
Keyboard echoed softly in the quiet room. Creative writing, yet his typing speed was insane.
Staring, she noticed the keyboard—unusual shape.
"Joo-hwan, that keyboard... Oh, sorry."
She blurted, then remembered he was working—apologized quick.
But as promised, he was too deep in zone to hear.
Jeong Ha-yeon admired him inwardly.
'Kinda hot.'
They said focused guys were sexy—now she got it.
His serious face felt fresh, unfamiliar charm. Frowning slightly when stuck, then pounding keys on a breakthrough, repeat.
Great view, but staring forever got boring.
'Read a novel?'
She grabbed his phone. His novel was here.
Opened the app, found the title he'd mentioned.
'Here it is.'
Started from chapter 1. Fast reader from her bookworm days.
'...This is crazy good?'
First wuxia, tons of new terms, still hooked. Lighter than books she'd read—easy, fun. Like her fave webtoons.
Deep in, she blinked. Next chapter marked red: 19+.
'19+ means... that, right?'
Gulp.
Swallowed for no reason—like a kid doing something naughty.
Tap. The 19+ chapter opened.
