The Eve of the Class President Election
The class president election event flew by like a bullet. My daily routine hadn't changed much. I focused on steadily raising my intelligence stat and the proficiency of my soft-sword skill, Sonic Sword, through sparring sessions with Rachel in the training room, while never neglecting my classes either. There was only one real difference.
“Mmm…… I want more.”
The existence of this naked woman lying beside me when I opened my eyes in the morning. I stared blankly at Rachel. Ever since she received the ring, any sense of restraint had completely vanished from her. She came to my bed every single day, and every night we had fiery sex before falling asleep just like this.
Since I was a man too, I couldn't resist when Rachel actively seduced me. No. If someone with a body and face like hers came at you with genuine seduction, resisting would be the weird thing. I thought that was only natural.
“Let's see…… yesterday we did it about six times, huh.”
Cleaning up the condoms scattered across the floor and speaking in a tired voice had slowly become part of my daily routine. Rachel was a girl who simply didn't know the meaning of satisfaction. Fortunately, my mana reserves were greater than her sexual appetite, so satisfying her wasn't much of a problem.
“To live and see the day where I have sex every single day.”
I was experiencing the life of a true alpha male. I let out a small chuckle and straightened my back.
“Status window.”

It had already been three weeks since Rachel became my lover. During that time, I hadn't rested at all—constantly training, attending classes, and having sex. It was finally time to check how much I'd grown.
“My physical stats have gone up quite a bit. Intelligence has passed 250 too. Now let's see…… how much proficiency does the Arcane Neuron trait have?”
New enlightenment until 3%.
Three percent. After going at it like crazy with Rachel for three weeks, this was a meaningful growth figure. I could clearly feel that every 1% increase dramatically sharpened my senses. It was a little embarrassing that the growth method involved se…… but as long as there were clear rewards, I had no choice but to keep going.
“Good. Now let's check Sonic Sword.”
New enlightenment until 98.7%.
I smiled at the 98.7% figure. All that steady effort had paid off. I was almost there on acquiring the basic soft-sword skill, Sonic Sword. And this skill, when combined with Contractor of Divine Artifacts, offered nearly infinite potential uses.
“Alright, that's enough for now…… it's about time.”
I looked at the calendar neatly hanging on the wall. While I'd been repeating the same daily routine for three weeks, one major event had crept right up to my nose.
The class president election event.
Besides the final exams that determined whether you'd advance to the next grade or repeat the year, there were monthly evaluations held once every month. This would be my first time experiencing a monthly evaluation, but new students were exempt from the first two as a way to build up their strength first, so I didn't feel any pressure about the test.
But the existing students were different.
‘Assuming the Evil Dragon Cult doesn't interfere. On hardcore difficulty, several class presidents won't score high enough and will fail. The presidents from years 1, 3, 5, and 7 will drop out, while those from even years will pass.’
And the real problem here was the failure of the 7th-year class president. Known as the “Odd-Year Shock,” this event marked the beginning of the class president election arc.
The 7th-year president, who had planned to earn high marks from the professors by defeating a Lower Dragon last month, couldn't recover from his injuries in time. He performed terribly during the monthly evaluation and was immediately disqualified. While failing the monthly evaluation didn't mean immediate expulsion, it did strip him of his position as class president.
With the 7th-year president seat suddenly vacant, the various factions within the year began fighting over it—and that was exactly how the class president election event unfolded.
‘The three oldest and most traditional factions within the 7th year will clash. The knight-origin Lions' Legion. The mage-family Truth Research Society. And the spirit-user Element Followers.’
These were the major factions within the 7th year, each boasting nearly hundreds of years of history and tradition. Although the entire 7th year was treated as one class, it was internally divided into many large and small factions like this.
‘The main villain was a guy named Darose from the Lions' Legion.’
A guy whose entire being was focused on a single goal: becoming class president to raise his own name. It was decided that the new president would be chosen through a tournament where each faction sent forth their champion to duel. Darose was the type who would do anything for his honor. When he sensed he was about to lose in the arena, he would use a forbidden berserk skill, and the protagonist would stop him—that was how the event normally played out.
For me, having fought this boss battle hundreds of times, dealing with him wasn't difficult in itself……
‘The problem is that this time, the Fragment of Corruption and the Evil Dragon Cult could introduce new variables, right?’
I wondered where the bomb would drop this time. The Academy was one of the institutions the Evil Dragon Cult desperately wanted to destroy. The endless stream of powerful individuals produced here constantly interfered with their plans, slaughtered the dragonkin they worshipped so fervently, and tore them apart. Their grudge ran deep.
They were the kind of bastards who absolutely loved to shit all over big events like this. The problem, as always, was that in my previous playthroughs, the Evil Dragon Cult had never moved at this exact timing. That meant I had no idea who would cause what kind of trouble, or how.
It could be a professor. It could be a student. Someone who had been an ally in the original story might suddenly turn into a villain and go on a rampage.
‘The class president election event officially begins tomorrow, the day of the monthly evaluation.’
In short, I had to prepare as much as possible before tomorrow at the latest.
“I need to obtain two things by the end of today.”
The first was obviously acquiring my soft-sword skill, Sonic Sword. But that alone wouldn't be enough. Since this was an incident where a near-demon would rampage inside the Academy, suppressing them was important—but even more important was making sure there were no injured or dead students.
In a situation where I had no idea who would go berserk, when, where, or how, having one more reliable helper would make that possible.
Heroine Rachel is on the verge of enlightenment!
New hidden skill Descent of the War God acquisition at 99.1%.
If Rachel unlocked her hidden skill, she would undoubtedly fulfill that role perfectly.
“Rachel. Wake up. Let's go spar.”
“Uung…… Asbel…… okay.”
And so that day as well, I woke the clinging Rachel and headed to the training room. The two of us skipped classes entirely and continued sparring like mad in the training hall. Until tomorrow. Until the official start of the class president election event, I had to become as strong as possible.
“This is fun!! Again!”
Maybe it was because Rachel treated our fights like a game, but we went at each other as fiercely on the training floor as we did in bed. By the time evening came that day—
You have acquired the new skill Sonic Sword!
My soft sword finally whipped through the air with a sharp crack, surpassing the speed of sound and leaving a crescent-shaped mana afterimage in its wake.
And as for Rachel—
Heroine Rachel has acquired the hidden skill Descent of the War God!
“Rachel…… that hurts.”
“I got through!”
For the first time, she had broken through my soft sword's defense and landed a solid punch on my body. Of course, she'd only hit lightly, so I wasn't seriously injured, but I spent the rest of that day dealing with a throbbing pain in my left shoulder. It was a moment that once again made me realize just how monstrous Rachel's strength truly was.
“Agh! It's finally over!!”
“Thank you for your hard work, Senior Cassandra!”
Cassandra smiled as she looked at the juniors who had rushed to her personal lab to help her finish writing her thesis before the monthly evaluation.
“Order some late-night snacks! And some sweets too! We've earned a break!”
“Thank you, Senior!”
After asking the battle maids, snacks arrived not long after. The female mages gathered around the table, stuffing their exhausted bodies with sugar and feeling pure happiness. As the saying went, women loved to chat once food entered the picture.
“By the way, Senior Cassandra. I heard something. Someone saw you going out with a guy?”
One of the juniors poked Cassandra in the waist with a sly grin. Cassandra could only offer an awkward smile in response.
“Who was it?”
“Are you seeing someone, Senior?”
Cassandra looked like the type who would play around more than anyone, and in reality she was a very passionate woman. But like most women from the Steel Empire, she had extremely high standards. Ordinary men simply didn't satisfy her. So if she was seeing a man, it either meant she had met the overwhelmingly strong man she had always wanted, or someone so incredibly handsome that he overturned all her values.
Naturally, they couldn't help being curious.
“It's…… nothing special.”
But Cassandra couldn't tell her juniors who she had gone on a date with or who she had shared her first kiss with. Her current relationship with Asbel was incredibly ambiguous. She wanted to settle things clearly with that Rachel girl who made her blood boil just thinking about her, but she had the monthly evaluation right in front of her that she needed to focus on.
Because of that, ever since that strange and bizarre encounter in front of the café last time, she hadn't made any further progress with Asbel. In that situation, she couldn't give her juniors a satisfying answer.
The juniors noticed Cassandra's subtle expression and quickly changed the subject.
“Anyway, what happened to that son of a bitch?”
There was only one person that “son of a bitch” could refer to. Fankel Brown, the guy who had stalked Cassandra to an obsessive degree.
“Two weeks of house arrest. That's all. He was released a few days ago and has been strutting around shamelessly.”
Cassandra didn't even bother hiding her disgusted expression as she spoke, causing everyone to look stunned.
“What?! How is that even possible?”
“He openly drew his weapon and threatened someone!”
“He's from the Brown Count family. A fairly well-off knight household. They must have pulled some strings to smooth it over.”
“This is ridiculous! How can they let him get away with that!”
“We need to drive that bastard out for real!”
“I know, right? It's so annoying.”
Cassandra smiled and played along with her juniors' outrage, but the smile was fake. After his house arrest, Fankel Brown seemed to have become a bit more cautious. Lately he hadn't shown the same aggressive behavior as before. But the way he looked at her had become even more damp and sticky. It was a gaze that made a woman's intuition scream danger at full volume.
She felt uneasy, but since he was also the son of a powerful family, as long as he hadn't done anything overtly serious, she couldn't have him locked up just because she felt anxious.
‘I'm scared.’
Even though she was scared, in the end, Cassandra had no choice but to swallow her anxiety and carry on.
