New Functions and a Twisted Hero
The extended time and new features hit me all at once.
“Huh?!”
“What? Why? What’s going on?”
Yeonhee’s face was so close I could feel her breath. I asked her to wait a moment, then scanned the new list.
1. Guide Yun Han-gyeol
2. Summoner Lee Yeonhee
3. Ice Mage No Hayun
“No Hayun’s name just got added to the Mimicry list.”
“...Huh? Suddenly? So… you can turn into Hayun now?”
“Looks like it. Not that I’ll have any reason to, though.”
It wasn’t exactly sudden for me, but from Yeonhee’s perspective it probably felt completely out of nowhere.
“It’s been quite a while since I started gathering information on her.”
“Still, why did Hayun get added first? I don’t get it…”
“W-well… maybe because she was the first one I met? She saw me fighting ‘Fang’ during the dungeon break and seemed pretty impressed. That might have helped.”
“Is that so~? And Hayun is really pretty too, right?”
“Huh? I didn’t notice. Is she?”
“......”
“......”
I worked hard to calm my pounding heart. Some men fall for traps like this, but thanks to my Cold Mind trait, I handled it easily.
Yeonhee narrowed her eyes and stared straight into mine. Since I had nothing to feel guilty about, I met her gaze confidently. Seeing my honest eyes must have eased the suspicion blooming in her heart, because she soon broke into a bright smile.
Telling her about the Mimicry skill in advance had been a really good decision.
Phew… Every time she looks at me with those eyes I feel like I’m going to die from the pressure.
The memory of being dragged away by that incomprehensibly massive being summoned by her power was still vivid. I gave my body a quick shake and checked the additional message that had appeared.
1. Second-Class Examiner Baek A-rin
2. Mage Bae Jua
3. Spirit Ran
4. Bard of Salvation Ham Eun-yeong
5. Transcendent Kang Yeonsu
No Hayun had completely dropped off the list, and out of nowhere Kang Yeonsu’s name had appeared in fifth place. Even more surprising, the title attached to her was Transcendent.
According to the System’s standards, it seemed she was already being judged on the same level as the earliest awakeners.
5. Transcendent Kang Yeonsu
A faint, unknown thread of fate connects you.
She feels an inexplicable fondness toward you.
You once achieved an accomplishment together.
Her favorability toward you is High.
Information gathering at 56%…
An unknown thread of fate…
It probably referred to our connection from my previous life. Even though we hadn’t met many times, the fact that information gathering had reached 56% made sense now. Still, it was a relief that her interest in me wasn’t simply because she wanted to add me to her collection.
The Mimicry list has expanded, increasing the skill’s rank.
Daily Mimicry uses have increased by 1.
Whoa…?! Finally!
Looking at the updated message, it seemed the limit had reset at midnight and I could now use it twice per day.
I immediately used the remaining charge. A soft surge of mana rose again, and as my current form was maintained, Yeonhee’s eyes widened.
“Don’t tell me… the time limit increased?!”
“Yeah. I can use it twice a day now.”
“Kyaaa!! I’m so happy!”
Yeonhee jumped into my arms, clinging tightly as she basked in her joy.
Being in human form really is convenient.
I continued our activities from that exact position. Since this was the first time doing it standing up, Yeonhee looked at me with wide, startled rabbit eyes.
She was floating in the air, completely dependent on me. I slowly lowered her onto my towering length that reached toward the sky.
“Aaaahk! W-wait! Like this I can’t control… it’s going in so much deeper…!”
After days of feeling nothing but pleasure, the sudden pain made her brow furrow deeply. But her flushed cheeks and ears told me she was more than satisfied even with this.
Schlick… schlick…
“Haaah… ahng…”
The first time trying a new position should always be done carefully. Yeonhee’s body had long since surpassed human limits, but mine had gone even further.
Drip… drip…
The fluids flowing from her body ran down my thighs. Her trembling legs tightened around my waist even harder. The purple eyes looking up at me sparkled brighter than ever today.
They were filled with pure longing and joy, like a child discovering a fun new game for the first time.
Those eyes… they could drive a person insane.
They were so lovely it was as if little hearts were literally sparkling inside them. As I moved, I enjoyed the sight of her breasts bouncing heavily up and down and recalled the noticeably changed minimap.
The minimap that used to mark the nearest sinister group. There was still one dot far away, as if urging me to deal with them quickly.
But now an additional dot of a different color had appeared.
A black marker…
I mentally pressed on it. The minimap zoomed out dramatically and a line stretched toward another region.
Somewhere in Gyeongsang Province, I think…
Soon, the face of a man I had never seen before floated into view.
The modifiers alone were ominous. Warped Hero, huh… And the scale of his victims was enormous. Just how long had he been doing these terrible things?
Whoa… 1,077 people? This guy is seriously insane.
Including those he had killed, the total reached 1,219. The problem was that he was an active, ongoing villain, and he was skilled enough to have already earned the title of Great Villain.
Succubus Domain…
The skill listed among the rewards seemed to be the one I would obtain through the previous achievement Purifier of the Korean Peninsula after killing Nam Yong-seok. The other one looked like the actual kill reward—curse resistance. It appeared to be a narrower value than general resistance, specialized for a specific ability.
Since shamans were so rare, I wasn’t sure if the resistance would ever be useful. But perhaps its value lay precisely in the fact that it was a stat I would never normally need to worry about.
If I don’t kill him, his evil deeds will never be revealed…
I laid Yeonhee, who was panting with her tongue hanging out, down on the bed. While gently stroking her hair, I read the remaining message.
You can now observe the evil deeds of Great Villain Bin Chi-seung.
…… The System really added every kind of function. Show me. I need to see exactly what kind of disgusting shit this bastard is doing.
Immediately, a video began playing inside my head.
It was a small room. Snack wrappers and food containers were scattered everywhere in a mess. On the desk, beer cans were precariously lined up along the edge. And sitting in a chair, staring at someone’s social media page, was a man who looked to be in his mid-forties.
The worn wallet next to the mouse pad and the city government employee ID casually tossed on top of it revealed his identity.
“Kuhuhuhuhu— You fucking bastard. You had the nerve to butt your cigarette on someone in the street? Even when they told you to stop, you completely ignored them. A cocky little punk like you… you deserve to suffer, don’t you?”
‘……’
The video played at several times normal speed, only slowing to real time when the man spoke. He spent hours obsessively stalking one man’s social media feed, as if trying to memorize every photo and piece of information.
“Alright. Collection complete.”
Collection…
The word reminded me of my own information gathering, and it left a bad taste in my mouth.
The man soon activated his ability. He waved his hand through the air, and a doll about the size of a forearm that looked exactly like the man from the social media profile materialized. Looking closely, the level of reproduction was astonishing. It was as if the man from the photos had simply been shrunk down.
“Kya— Look at this tiny fucker. A bastard who’ll never contribute anything to the world and will only cause harm until he dies. Guys like you shouldn’t be allowed to set foot in society. This is the execution of justice!”
‘……’
Bin Chi-seung poured a massive amount of mana into the doll. The doll froze for a moment, then slowly began to move.
— Hey you fucking piece of shit. Where the hell are you wasting your bow? It even spoke.
The man manifested as a doll seemed to be playing a game somewhere. Bin Chi-seung watched the doll’s behavior and cursed before gently grabbing its finger—then suddenly snapped the pinky backward.
Crack—
The sound of breaking bone came from the doll’s body. It was an incredibly vivid, dull thud.
— Aaaaargh!! Uuurgh! Fuck, what the hell, my finger— ugh…!
The doll rolled around on the floor, expressing its agony in every possible way.
“Hehehehe— This is only the beginning.”
After that, Bin Chi-seung began tormenting the doll in all sorts of ways. He mostly stabbed its body with a very sharp awl. The doll’s face twisting in pain was so realistic that even I couldn’t help but grimace.
The man who became a doll did do something wrong, but the punishment is clearly excessive.
There was a reason the System had labeled him a villain.
“I told you, didn’t I? Not to smoke on the street! I was standing right behind you! I said don’t smoke! You stupid tattooed insect bastard!”
Stab stab stab stab stab stab!
The doll’s struggles grew more intense. Apparently unsatisfied with just the awl, Bin Chi-seung brought a lighter flame to the doll’s soles.
— AAAAAAAAAAAHH!! S-save me!! Somebody help me!!
Bin Chi-seung tormented the doll like that for several hours straight.
Ugh… this filthy pervert.
At some point, the front of Bin Chi-seung’s pants had swollen noticeably. The rapidly playing video even captured him masturbating while watching the suffering doll.
“This is your baptism. Feels hot, doesn’t it? Hehehe—”
Creak—
Deciding he had given enough punishment, Bin Chi-seung pulled up his pants and carried the doll into another room.
Where is he going now?
Surprisingly, the new room was dozens of times larger than the previous one.
Urp—
Inside, countless hyper-realistic dolls were hanging densely on the walls, writhing in agony. The bizarre sight made me want to vomit.
The conditions of the over a thousand dolls varied wildly. The ones closest to the door were in relatively better shape. Most of the dolls had their eyes rolled halfway back, constantly muttering “kill me.”
This crazy bastard… How much did he torment them to reduce people to this state?
His stated goal of making sure they could never set foot in society again had clearly been more than accomplished.
