Park Ayoung (2): The Venom of Envy
Park Ayoung continued. "Sara unnie originally came from a small orphanage our father sponsored. But from a very young age, she awakened physical enhancement abilities like some kind of miracle. Father spotted that insane talent, brought her straight to the Association, made her his personal disciple, and started training her himself."
Ohu silently chugged his beer, ears attuned to the story of the extraordinary mother whose blood ran through his veins.
"Unnie was a genius. A hard-working genius, at that. Even before she got her official hero license at fifteen, she'd sneak out of the dorms every night and hunt down villains in the filthy back alleys the cops couldn't touch, smashing them bare-handed."
Ayoung's eyes sparkled, chasing the ghosts of past glories.
"A fifteen-year-old girl pulverizing full-grown B-grade villains solo? The Association lost its shit, and the public went wild. And her looks? Movie-star gorgeous. Father pegged her as his successor and hyped her up big-time in the media."
But the brighter the light, the darker the shadow. Ayoung's voice grew quieter, laced with shards of deep-seated inferiority.
"Compared to her... I was such a pathetic daughter."
Ayoung laughed bitterly and downed the rest of her beer.
"Born with S-grade hero blood, but all I awakened was this weak-ass regeneration that just slows aging a bit. No strength to smash a single villain, no fancy superpowers—just a half-baked awakener. A burden on the Association, tarnishing Father's great name."
Her braless tits swelled and fell with a heavy sigh.
"I envied unnie... hated her guts. Felt like she'd stolen my place. But... she never looked down on me, not once. Treated me like a real little sister, always looking out for me. After dangerous missions, she'd come to me, stroke my hair. So I... I started genuinely admiring that shining Sara unnie, wanting to help her. Since I couldn't fight, I decided to go into admin and planning, be her rock-solid support."
Ohu listened quietly to Ayoung's raw, heartfelt confession, feeling a profound sense of kinship and strange comfort deep inside.
Auntie... you were just like me.
Himself—born with his trash dad Ha Deok-gu's genes dominating despite his mom's incredible Shooting Star powers, ending up with this wormy body. And Ayoung—daughter of S-grade hero Rapid Star, yet shoved into admin because she lacked combat skills, despised by her own father. Two people overshadowed by the talented, chained by bloodline, wracked with inferiority. Their plights overlapped perfectly.
"So when unnie suddenly retired, using pregnancy as an excuse... it felt like my world collapsed."
Ayoung's eyes reddened.
"And it turns out it was all because of that demon Ha Deok-gu's gaslighting and beatings... How could I not notice for twenty years? How fucking useless was I that unnie couldn't even ask me for help, suffering that hell alone... Sniff."
Tears finally spilled from Ayoung's eyes. She covered her face with both hands and broke into sobs.
Seeing her tears stirred a hot surge of emotion from the depths of Ohu's chest.
"Auntie... don't cry. It's not your fault."
He rolled up the sleeve of his shower robe and reached out to pat her shoulder comfortingly.
"Mom would understand how you feel. I was saved because of you too..."
'Huh...?'
Ohu's voice cut off mid-sentence as he tried to console her.
"Wha...? Wh-what...?"
Suddenly, his tongue went numb and stiff, like it was paralyzed. His lips wouldn't move right, slurring his words. His vision spun wildly. Ayoung, wiping her tears, doubled, tripled in his sight amid crushing vertigo. Every muscle in his body went slack, like a sedative injected straight into his veins. Clang! The can slipped from his hand and hit the floor.
"A-aunt... ie... why's my body..."
He grabbed the sofa arm to hold on, but collapsed helplessly. Consciousness sucked him down into darkness. In the fading blur of his vision, at the edge...
Ayoung—who'd been sobbing pitifully just moments ago—pulled her hands from her face and looked down at him. No tear tracks. Just a grotesque, torn grin splitting her lips.
Thud! That chilling smile was the last thing he saw as his body slammed into the living room floor, blacking out completely.
"Fuck, you little piglet—had to finish your damn can before passing out."
"Ugh... Nngh..."
How much time had passed? Ohu's consciousness clawed its way up from a thick, sticky bog. He sensed his eyes opening, but it was pitch black. Something like a blindfold sealed his vision tight.
What...? Fuck, what's going on?
As he twisted to assess, a metallic clank rang out. Cold, hard handcuffs bound his wrists and ankles to some rigid iron bed frame, limbs splayed in a spread-eagle.
Panicked, he heard someone humming cheerfully nearby.
"Hmm~ Hm-hmm~♪"
It was Ayoung's voice. But the tender tone from before was gone, replaced by cold, academic muttering that sent chills down his spine.
"Hmm... What the hell method did he use? How did a loser like Ha Deok-gu break Han Sara's iron will and hypnotize her?"
Clink, clink. Cold metal tools clashed.
"What was the medium? Visual? Eyes? Specific brainwave frequency sound? Drugs from fingertips?"
Ayoung's footsteps circled the bed.
"No way... A kiss? Saliva exchange through mucous membranes? Fuck, that's nasty. Thinking of that bastard's tongue in unnie's mouth makes me wanna puke. So bodily fluid hypnosis via saliva or semen?"
"A-Auntie! Auntie! What the fuck are you doing?! Untie me right now!"
Terror-stricken, Ohu thrashed wildly against his restraints, screaming.
"..."
His shrieks cut off Ayoung's humming.
"Ah, fuck. Already awake?"
No trace of the angelic "Ohu-ya, auntie~" whispers. Her voice turned cruder than a street thug's, profanity spewing freely.
"Setup's not even done yet. Fuck, you disgusting pig fuck. I ran a nice warm shower to relax you, spiked your beer heavy with anesthetic to blast you into oblivion. Body really that of a pig? Takes a shit-ton of drugs to drop you, goddamn."
Riiip. Rough friction as the thick blindfold was yanked off.
"Agh...!"
Blinding light made him squint. Vision focused. It was the cozy master bedroom they'd entered. But transformed. Thick, transparent plastic sheeting—kimchi wrap style—covered the king-size bed to catch blood. He lay naked atop it, limbs shackled spread-eagle. Ayoung, who'd flaunted her silk loungewear before, now wore a white surgical gown over it—waterproof, blood-proof. Transparent goggles, mask, latex gloves. In her right hand: a razor-sharp scalpel and heavy forceps for ripping flesh gleamed.
"Alright, piglet. Wanna tell me with your own mouth how your daddy hypnotized Sara unnie?"
Ohu sucked in a breath. Revealing the Hypnosis App—his only lifeline—would end him. This psycho would crack his skull open for real to uncover its secrets.
"H-Hypnosis? Auntie, what the hell?! Why are you doing this to me...!"
Tears streaming, he flailed against the cuffs.
"You said you were like sisters with Mom! So why tie me up... Please, let me live! What did I do?!"
His desperate cries echoed, but Ayoung's gloved hand didn't twitch. Her goggle-hidden eyes narrowed in disgust.
"Shut the fuck up."
The scalpel sliced air. Slice.
"Aaaahhh—!"
A thin red line etched across his protruding gut. Agonizing pain as flesh parted, blood beading and dripping onto the plastic. Slap!! Her other hand cracked across his screaming face. Head whipped, lip split.
"Don't fucking call me auntie, you pig shit. Makes me wanna hurl."
Ayoung prodded his navel with the bloody scalpel handle, voice ice-cold.
"Ha Deok-gu was a normie trash heap, no awakener. How'd that worm turn prime Shooting Star into a secret sex slave for twenty years? Drugs? Torture? Nah, unnie's mental and physical toughness laughs at that amateur shit."
Each stab into flesh convulsed his body.
"Only one answer: Psychic ability. Or an artifact enabling it. You lived there twenty years—think I'd buy you don't know? Spill before I dig deep into your navel and show you your guts."
She sneered, forceps pinching and yanking his jiggling belly fat, tsk.
"Man, you're ugly as fuck. Inherited from Han Sara or Ha Deok-gu? Wait, if it was unnie's powers, you wouldn't be this pig. All her superior genes evaporated, pure concentrated trash blood from that fucker—mutant worm?"
Ohu strained veins bulging on his forehead, thrashing.
"Please! I really don't know! Somebody save me! Ack!"
"Gonna keep playing dumb? Fine. Let's see if your mouth opens first or your gut."
Ayoung raised the scalpel again. Desperate, Ohu spat blood, yelling.
"You said you were like sisters with Mom! Loved her so much—why do this to her son?!"
"...Sisters?"
Ayoung's voice trembled behind the mask. "Ah... Yeah, I said that...?"
Her pupils contracted and dilated wildly under the goggles.
"Sisters... sisterly love? Haha... Hahahaha!"
She threw her head back, cackling madly.
"Sistersistersistersistersisterfuckingsister! That bullshit sister crap!"
After laughing like a lunatic, she slammed her face inches from his.
"Shut up! Sisters? Who the fuck sisters with that bitch?!"
Bloodshot eyes blazing.
"Han Sara—that cunt... Because of her, I've lived my whole life suffocating in comparisons! You don't get it, how horrific the shadow of that perfect Shooting Star was!"
Ohu held his breath. Hit a nerve...
"My father's Korea's top S-grade hero, Rapid Star. I'm his one and only blood daughter. But... my awakening? Pathetic regeneration—wounds heal a tad faster, age slower. That's it."
Her scalpel hand shook.
"Father treated me like garbage, no hesitation. Bare minimum fatherly love? Don't make me laugh. We ate together maybe five times. Why? He had the perfect successor!"
"That was... my mom?"
"Yeah! Orphan trash with no roots! Father cherished Han Sara a hundred, thousand times more than his own daughter—petted her head in front of me, called her his greatest creation. You have any idea how that tore my heart?!"
Her voice cracked with rage bleeding into raw inferiority.
"I decided then. Destroy her. Make her just like me!"
"...What?"
"Your mom sneaking out pre-license for vigilante shit? I egged her on."
Ohu's eyes shook.
"Hoped the immature bitch would fuck around, get jumped by villains in an alley—beat like a dog, raped senseless. Become a retard Father discarded. I pushed her! But guess what?"
Ayoung laughed hollowly.
"That tough bitch smashed them all. Got massive media play, public cheers. Father even bragged: 'Rapid Star's disciple, no different from my own daughter!' Right in my face!"
Breathing ragged before the true black curtain behind his mother's ruin. Cuffs strained taut.
"Villains didn't cut it—she was prepared. And hero license killed that chance. So I switched tactics."
Ayoung's lips curled.
"Sara unnie was unnaturally hot. Stalkers galore, pervs eye-fucking her. I anonymously leaked her unofficial routes, weak time slots, dorm blind spots to those scum."
"You... you crazy bitch!"
"Didn't expect much—normies or thugs couldn't handle her powers. Just hoped stalkers would grind her mentally. But..."
She tapped his chin with the scalpel, grinning.
"Out of all those baited trash, one jackpot: your dad, Ha Deok-gu. Worthless normie piglet struck gold."
"..."
"Dunno what magic he pulled, but he kidnapped her, raped her, made her quit heroing voluntarily, dragged her underground forever. Best moment of my life. The thrill of Father's despair."
All truths laid bare. Ha Deok-gu was just the luckiest puppet in Ayoung's web of malice. The true culprit who doomed Han Sara to hell, twenty years of blood and tears. The origin of every tragedy: this vile aunt, Park Ayoung, right before his eyes.
