Fantasy Demon King: Day 1
They say people don't actually panic when faced with situations far beyond their comprehension. Panic hits once you've processed what's happening. So, the deep subconscious of the man who'd become the Demon King gladly shut down his brain to protect itself. People call this a defense mechanism. That's why he just stood there, blankly staring into his own eyes in the mirror. Those red, vertically slit pupils gleaming with crimson light.
"……."
This can't be real.
He'd been playing a game in his one-room apartment just moments ago. Then he collapsed, woke up, and somehow turned into a character from the game? It was only natural to assume this was all a dream. But what was this feeling? The gut punch of this isn't a dream.
The Demon King's face in the mirror drained of color in an instant, turning ghostly pale. What the hell was this? Words wouldn't form properly in his head. At least he hadn't lost his mind completely. The fact that he hadn't fainted meant his life up to now hadn't been a total waste. He'd seen this trope plenty in novels and anime. As time passed, bit by bit, he managed to calm down.
So, who was this body now? That much he could say for sure. The Lust Demon King. That's what she'd been called. He couldn't recall any name from the game.
He brought his hand up to his face, opening and closing it, twisting it this way and that, waving it wildly. The pretty hand moved exactly as he willed it. Too vivid, too natural for a dream.
Why the hell the Demon King, of all things? Right before the possession, all he'd done was listen to classical music while grinding the Demon King route. That's it. Had she cursed him or something? As if a game character could.
"Ah. Ah. Mic test. El-le-le-le-le."
Pfft. Hilarious hearing the elegant Demon King make sounds like that.
So, what now? Go back to the original world? Reclaim his old body? Those goals popped into his head, but he ditched them immediately. How do you find a way back without knowing why you got isekai'd in the first place? Seemed way too vague no matter how he sliced it.
Besides, he didn't really want to go back. Home meant nothing but work, no one to meet, debts piled sky-high, and a body already wrecked. Would he just end up as some crazy homeless guy? And so what if the new body was female? Yeah, it was a big deal. But this was him inside it. His mind was still that of a total alpha male. He'd just live like a man. No biggie. Dating and marriage were off the table anyway—no pipe dreams there. Sucks to die a virgin, though.
Anyway, adapting to Demon King life sounded way more appealing than going back. This situation? Might not be so bad.
Haha.
The thought brought an involuntary dry laugh. Still, no room for complacency. Who was the Demon King? The world's archenemy, leader of the violence-obsessed demon race. That's the one he'd possessed. Odds were high he'd fail to adapt. And if he screwed up? Well, fuck it. At least as the Demon King, he could scrape by even on the run. She wasn't weak, right?
As those thoughts swirled, something suddenly clicked.
"Oh shit, is the Hero already in this world?"
Heroes got summoned by the goddess when a great calamity loomed. No Hero would be nice, but if one existed and they were at the ending? Might as well die.
He wanted to ask that crazy maid who'd bolted out earlier, but she still hadn't returned. Still, there was a way to check. Whether this was the endgame or not: the hymen test.
If the Hero had already railed her, it'd be gone. Then he'd figure out how to GTFO. No thanks to being a cumdump for that guy.
"Alright, let's do this quick."
Decision made, time to act. But actually going for it made his face burn and hands shake. Lifting his own skirt to check? Way more intense than he'd thought. He hadn't trembled this bad during college presentations. Heart rate probably blasting past 200 BPM right now.
Still, his trembling hand inched downward. This was key to his future fate. No backing out.
Finally, his outstretched hand gripped the hem of the black dress, slowly lifting the skirt. Calf, knee, thigh—snow-white skin revealed in sequence. Kinda embarrassing, so he squinted at his lower half.
Good—no "正" written on the thighs. But not safe yet. He pulled down the black lace panties, slowly opening his eyes to carefully inspect.
Hmm, but how do you even check? He grabbed a hand mirror and angled it. Shadows made it hard to see. Leaning back while thrusting his hips forward, adjusting the angle. Peering closely between his legs, something membrane-like was visible. At least not Hero'd. Odds of no Hero just skyrocketed. He'd ask someone for details later, but worst case averted.
That alone brought a smile to his face.
But joy was short-lived.
Bang!
The door flew open as someone burst in.
"Demon King! You're finally awa—"
She froze. The secretary-looking woman stood stock-still, words dying in her throat.
How did the revived Demon King look to her? On the bed, panties down, skirt hiked up, kneeling with legs slightly spread, peering at her own bits with a hand mirror? Face flushed beet red with shame as a bonus.
And so the woman...
"Uh, urk...!"
Clutched her neck and collapsed.
"……."
Silence blanketed the Demon King's bedroom.
Online stories about getting caught mid-fap by family? He'd always thought those people were idiots. Now it was him?
Thud.
His hand dropped the skirt hem. His heated face burned like fire.
Boom—!
Something exploded inside. The Demon King's mana surged wildly.
Crash! Bang! Crack!
"Wha—?"
A shockwave of mana swept through, turning the pristine room into a warzone. The collapsed woman on the floor. Bed in ruins, chandelier crashed down. Furniture flung everywhere.
Fucking spectacular.
Staring at the fallen woman, the Demon King thought: Can I bolt from here?
His body sprang from the bed, dashing past her and out the door.
The Demon King's Castle interior unfurled before him.
Whoa, this place is huge.
Bigger than in the game by dozens of times. No wonder it took so long to navigate.
No time to gawk. Goal: find the exit.
The castle was dungeon-like in the game, complete with an escape route for players. A convenience to skip backtracking after clears. He needed that.
They wouldn't put the sleeping Demon King's room at the entrance, right? Found it quicker than expected.
Right next door?
Bang, creak, slam!
Door open, slip in, shut tight. Empty, luckily.
A quick scan revealed a magic circle for exiting.
Stand on it?
Stepping on cautiously, it began to glow.
Escape time already? Life really is shit.
What if the demon army comes looking? No worries. Vanish naturally, next strongest takes over. With the Four Heavenly Kings around, no need for him. They'd probably love it—useless boss gone day one, promote themselves.
No reason to hunt him down. Future living? If he wielded that power right, ace janitor gig at least.
Vrrr— the magic circle hummed to life. Teleporting out soon. Hope it's near a village. One-use probably? Whatever.
Ugh, ah, urgh.
Vision spinning, head dizzy. Like a human centrifuge.
The Demon King lifted his head from all fours to survey. Dense forest of massive trees. Crisp, dust-free air screamed fantasy world woods.
Jackpot internally. Not demon realm or icy mountains—huge relief. Not near a village, but safe spot? Count blessings.
But joy faded fast. Good moments never last.
Voices echoed from afar.
"Kyaa! What the hell was that?!"
"Wh-what are you talking about? Suddenly."
"You just molested me!!"
Huh? Intriguing chatter behind the trees. Can't miss fun—er, filthy—drama like this.
It was day one in the fantasy world.
