The World Collapsed, and I'm Here as the Ultimate Golden Sun
Just a moment ago, the world ended. It sounded like pure bullshit, but that's exactly what I said. No exaggeration, no metaphor—just the literal truth. The world I had been reading about in that novel had finally reached its bad ending.
Author's Note: Thank you to all the readers who loved my story "I Seduced Them Without Them Realizing I Was the Villain." Even though the world has ended... isn't this still a genuine conclusion?!
THUD!
"What truth? You bastard!" The taste of shit lingered in my mouth. It was foul, but when I burped it up, it had a strange, earthy flavor. I'd stayed up all night replaying the novel, and now I was here. What? Everyone dies? The world ends? "Ah, fuck... really."
Stay calm. Calm down. Take a deep breath. In for a long breath... out. At least it's just a novel, right? Think of it as stepping on dog shit in the middle of the road. Calm down, wash my face, regain some peace of mind... and then...
"......"
THUD!
"No. The more I think about it, the more pissed off I get. You're joking, right now?!" I tried to hold it in, but my fingers moved on their own. The keyboard lit up with a torrent of pure, unfiltered rage directed straight at that damn author.
Tap tap tap.
Author, you need to respect me, damn it!
This shitty novel starts from chapter 1 all the way to the end... [I read it through to the conclusion, suffered like hell... even though the ending sucks, I look forward to the next work...]
But the bastard removed every good line and left nothing but a long post full of nothing but pure profanity. Just as I was about to type it, the monitor exploded in a blinding flash of light. The last thing I remembered was thinking, "This light is swallowing me whole."
The next thing I knew...
"...Huh?"
The monitor I had been staring at moments ago was gone. Not just gone—completely wiped from existence. I wasn't even in my old room anymore. In front of me stood an old full-length mirror blocking my view. Was this a dream? The mirror rippled like water. "Ouch."
Pain meant it wasn't a dream. But what the hell was going on? Still buzzing with irritation and confusion, I stared blankly into the mirror. The reflection staring back at me froze my tongue solid.
Right there, a little brat stared straight at me. Not just any little brat. A ridiculously handsome, golden-sun type of little brat stood there in the mirror. "......"
Shimmering golden-blond hair. Skin tanned to a deep bronze, as if it had been kissed by endless sunlight and never tanned. Still baby-soft down on his cheeks, but the face was already fully formed, like the adult version was right in front of me. This was the classic, fire-branding form of the ultimate golden sun that would one day burn the hearts of countless women. Exactly what I saw in the novel.
"...It's me?"
