Buy the Meds and Take Them
* Chomp chomp chomp chomp chomp chomp "Looks good. See, walking is way more fun than gaming, right? That's how you cut back on game time little by little."
"Chomp chomp chomp"
"Answer me."
"Gulp. Mmph..!"
Hero and his burly companion were in the middle of disciplining someone inside the bunker. After waiting forever, I finally got to kick off the deworming meds meeting. I'd crammed all the relevant people in and only let the top brass speak. That way, everyone could share research progress quick and easy.
A feature that'd been there from the start but I'd never used: forced renaming. I kinda wanted to try it out this time. Everyone's usernames were too normal to justify forcing it, though.
Since it's meds for everyone, I invited all races, naturally. But elves are sleeping, dwarves busy with metalwork and declined. So the Empire's stuck with everything again. Feeling a bit guilty, I decided to pitch in big this time.
Magic wands, fertilizer, dewormers. Cracking these open should skyrocket their tech. Eventually, they'll make stuff without my help. Then I can just lounge, skimming exchange fees like a boss. I wiped the drool and refocused.
Messages praising my "efforts." How to explain? It wasn't me—smarter folks slaved over this for ages, and I just... delivered. Dull and pretentious. Too complicated, so I glossed over it.
Basic dewormer: checked the shop, it's the roundworm pills from my childhood. Selling just this covers most parasites. For total cleanup, though, we need distribution plans for the rest.
Biggest problem right there. Me stocking meds in the shop? Gallery folks would shove 'em down without knowing squat, then wreck themselves. Some condescending movie scene flashed in my head—I slapped it away. They're not dumb; just short on knowledge. No fix for now, so brute force it.
Can't heal with spells? See a priest for meds. Priests'll read instructions, so no abuse. Misuse... tough luck, get healed. Distribution sorted—now research.
No help needed. Geniuses in their field? Trial-and-error, but absorbing fast. Still feels like dumping. To ease my guilt, extra rewards promised.
Shoulda explained it wasn't mine? Lazily glossed, now huge misunderstanding. Epic benefactor vibes. Switched topics quick.
Faster exit than usual. Knew the praise train was coming—bailed. Misunderstandings piling up, no fix in sight. "I'm not from here"—who'd buy that? Lucky not to get called crazy. Bitter smile as I drafted the parasite notice for the gallery.

Parasite problem's bad, so fixing it.
Meds I'm distributing: three types. Check the pic below (pic of the three meds)
Right two: don't pop blindly. Distributing via priests.
Can't heal with spells? Go buy from them.
Left one: shop stock. Once every 6 months, twice a year.
1-per-person limit, resets yearly. Buy responsibly.
Stay healthy and keep gallerying hard.
Any unhealable-by-spells illnesses? Comment 'em—might have meds.
Peace.

Comments piled up fast. Posted the notice, did a quick house clean while waiting. In that short time, gallery rushed in with replies. Seemed like they'd take care properly—no worries for now.
"Cough cough. Just cleaned, where's all this fur from..."
Living with three furballs meant fur everywhere. Cleaning daily, but:
Roll roll roll roll roll rollShake whoosh
The trio turning my clean house furry again. They wrecked it in seconds—cleaning pointless. Gallery dying to parasites? Nah, I'd get respiratory issues first. Time to prioritize my health.
