Prologue - What the Hell is a Moderator?
*In a shabby room. I was shivering like crazy. Not even a bed in sight, so I was huddled on top of a rickety table. Cold. Hungry. It'd been a whole week since I got dragged to this place. My last memory was falling asleep all cozy in my warm room, bundled up in blankets after a satisfying gaming session. But I woke up freezing my ass off... and here I was.
"What the actual fuck is going on..."
If you're gonna kidnap someone out of nowhere, at least have the decency to explain the situation, right? All I had was two baguettes and six 2-liter bottles of water. And outside? Ferocious-looking beasts prowling around, so I couldn't even step out. I'd cracked the door open on the first day to check—nearly shit myself and barricaded back inside. A wolf with four eyes? Yeah, no thanks.
I'd spent the week curling up, praying it was all a dream, waking up, repeat. Rationed my food as tight as possible, but now it was gone. Time to face reality, I guess.
"Hey, you've left me rotting in here for a week—that's plenty, right? Can't someone show up and explain what's happening already?"
Did my desperate plea finally get through? Ding!
You have accessed the Ark Gallery.
"...Huh?"
Will you act as the Moderator of the Ark Gallery?
What the hell is the Ark Gallery? And a Moderator? Some utterly out-of-nowhere message popped up right in front of my eyes.
