The Hunter Gallery was in the middle of a full-blown voting frenzy when a brand-new piece of bait dropped out of nowhere.
Summary: Pick the one Pa-ttak with the highest vote share!
Reward: A-class item given to the 1st place Pa-ttak! Other Pa-ttaks receive rewards scaled by rank.
Pa-ttaks may post campaign promises to gather supporters.

Kya! Even I have to admit it’s a genius idea. A popularity poll! I even like the name Pa-mi-up. After all, the act of voting for someone gives everyone a hit of dopamine. This is the perfect chance to see how the hunters really feel about the Pa-ttaks! My own approval rating should be fine, so no problem there.
And as much as I hate to say it, the current level of the hunters is still pretty low. They barely managed to take down an A-class monster like Sarakan. We have no idea when something even stronger might pop out. At this rate, the Demon King might eventually show up and try to destroy the world. If that happens, we won’t be able to put up any real resistance. We’d all get wiped out. I can’t lose any more hunters.

Of course, I’ll do it in a way that’s “fun” for the gallery. The beginning of the hunter upgrade project would be the Pa-ttaks.

The Pa-ttaks seemed to have gone off to think about their campaign promises. The admin chat was quiet. The gallery was on fire with posts speculating what kind of promises the Pa-ttaks would make. Every single thread was filled with talk about campaign pledges.
Then, out of nowhere, someone posted a new thread.
It was admittedly a rather cute creature, but…. to secure “provisions” for the great battle to come, it could not be helped….
