Completion Afterword
Hello. This is MediocreDude. Oh yeah! It's complete!! Hooray! Bravo!! Hmm...! To be honest, while I was serializing the story it was so exhausting that I planned to whine my heart out in the afterword. But now that it's actually over, that feeling has completely vanished... Instead, I want to offer my sincere thanks to every reader who followed along with me.
Looking back, there were so many shortcomings. Of course that's because I'm a terribly lacking writer... During the run, I remember reading other authors' works at one point, sniffling to myself, "I'm just a hack... I'm just a hack..." Still, I gave it everything I had in my own way and managed to bring the tale to an end!
If you were disappointed, I'm sorry. If it fell short of your expectations, please forgive me... Did you enjoy Ju-ddak's journey? I desperately hope you did. (Please... tell me it was fun...)
I'll wrap things up here. I don't think I'll be preparing a new series right away. If I ever write again, I'll take a proper long break first and return with far more preparation!
And... about the side stories... um... I'm still not sure T_T It's not that I don't have ideas I want to write, but this feels like a clean ending as it is. If the mood strikes me later, I'll write them. For now, I plan to go back and fix some typos.
Anyway. It's clearly a story that's disappointing in places, excessive in others, and thin in yet more. But to all the readers who accepted such a story as a proper work and enjoyed it anyway, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was an honor.
P.S. The fact that the ship called Hunter Gallery Ju-ddak was able to dock at the harbor known as Completion is entirely thanks to PD. PD, you worked so hard. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was only able to finish because of you. Whew...
And I also want to thank my precious friends and acquaintances who cheered me on and kept my sanity together every time things got tough.
If—and I really mean if!!—you have any questions, please leave them in the comments! (In short, I kinda want to do a Q&A too.)
Real goodbye!! (Let it go)
