#7 Base Expansion, Nameless Village (Renoa City Lord - Rights Stripped, Hypnosis Obedience) (1)
Everything was progressing more smoothly than I'd expected. This game, EoR, was supposed to be pretty damn tough—or so people said—but honestly, it felt like they were exaggerating. Still, that might just be because we're still in the ultra-early stages.
In strategy sims like this where you manage a map, each turn usually spans months or even years in-game time, as far as I know. If that's the case, then less than a month since I dropped into this world might not even count as a full turn yet.
I never actually played the game myself, so who knows. Even so, I doubt you could make this much progress in a single turn.
The question nagged at me, but no answers came. Not like it was a bad thing, so no need to overthink it. The only worry was that if the game was progressing this fast, maybe that King of Ruin would show up sooner than expected.
If that's the risk, I need to hustle even harder.
With that thought, I looked around. I was outside the hotel and brothel, in an area still undeveloped except for the raw buildings lined up. I'd assigned the orcs to basic scouting, exploration, and perimeter guard duty, but in their downtime, I had them knock down nearby trees and use the timber for construction.
The first batch of completed structures included things like the [Granary] and [Brothel] we'd built before. Summoning the succubus Lilith had eaten up a ton of Resource Magic, and these early builds had guzzled it too—but they were paying off big time.
This spot was the second batch. I'd only specified rough shapes for each building, leaving interiors and details untouched. But having the forms in place was key—it slashed the Resource Magic cost for what came next.
"Alright, let's get started~."
I pulled up the now-familiar status window.
Resource Magic: [Current Amount / Max]
Resource Magic was the game's most crucial element. An all-purpose resource for producing anything—and the one and only material for powering up your heroes. The meta was all about securing it first and foremost.
The standard way was to build a nation and collect it like taxes from your citizens. You could also get it from commerce (trading goods for magic instead of money), monster hunts (experience swapped for points), dungeon clears, quest rewards, or treasure finds.
But damn, this is weird.
I opened a new window. This one showed the orc tribe's status and Noa Florence's.
> Orc Tribe
> Favorability: MAX+ (Rising endlessly)
> Erosion Level: N/A
> Noa Florence (Holy Knight)
> Favorability: Low (Minimal change)
> Erosion Level: Moderate (Rising steadily)
Below them, new entries had appeared that weren't there at first: [Favorability] and [Erosion Level].
The orcs' favorability toward me was absurdly high and still climbing without limit. Noa's hadn't budged much, but her [Erosion Level] was ticking up nicely. Whatever it meant, it was generating solid Resource Magic bonuses. Enough to make me filthy rich in it right now.
I don't remember reading about this in any攻略 guides.
Maybe I just forgot. Didn't matter—I'd use what I got.
And so, with the status window open, I went around assigning roles to the buildings the orcs had tirelessly erected over days without rest. Things that had been dismissed as "shoddy wood piles" now got proper functions. Each assignment burned some Resource Magic points, and—
Du-du-du-du-du-du!
"Oh."
The buildings creaked and shook on their own, transforming before my eyes. It didn't take long. The bumpy ground smoothed into decent roads, the dirt-and-timber structures gained paint and glass windows.
And my [Building List] filled in with proper names.
├─ [Residential Cluster Lv.1]
├─ [Market Lv.1]
├─ [Warehouse Lv.1]
├─ [Blacksmith Lv.1]
├─ [Stable Lv.1]
└─ [Farm Lv.1] ...and more

"Now it actually looks like a town."
I surveyed the area with a swell of pride.

Renoa, city lord of Stonevic, felt an odd sense of dissonance. Was it dissonance? Or maybe a strange openness?
It had started just a few days ago—around when Reisi, the scout vice-captain, brought that guest.
Thinking back, nothing seemed off. Those two were still here, doing fine. Reisi helped in the office during the day; at night, they went back to Renoa's house, bathed, and rested together.
Work used to mean endless overtime, but the "guest" said no late nights, so they stopped. Tasks piled up a bit more than usual, but somehow, the stacks of papers that once stressed her out now felt... whatever.
"Alright, that wraps today's [Persuasion]~ Thanks for accepting my proposal, City Lord Renoa."
"Y-Yes...? Oh, no... it was just so reasonable... Huh...?"
The dissonance hit again, making Renoa puzzled, but she shook it off. This was her office. The guest—Lete—lounged arrogantly in Renoa's own chair. Renoa knelt before her, looking up, in her underwear for some reason.
Every lunch, Lete requested negotiations—about her nation's terms. The first day demanded the city outright; Renoa refused. But since then, the daily talks were all reasonable, and she'd accepted without issue.
...Reasonable...?
Yeah, reasonable. Handing over operational authority? Changing ownership of funds and facilities? Totally logical. In exchange, Lete guaranteed the city's safety or taught Renoa "female pleasures" as a bonus....
Today's negotiation ended smoothly too—all terms accepted. She vaguely recalled dice rolling midway, but probably just her imagination.
"Then we'll implement the agreement right away."
"Uh... sure...."
With talks over, waiting Reisi approached and stripped off Renoa the city lord's underwear. Part of today's terms: [Renoa the City Lord's right to wear underwear transferred to Lete and King Gaon].
Yesterday it was outer clothes; today, underwear too. She'd long lost rights like [Resisting Hypnosis] or [Being Treated as Human].

What right next? Just imagining it made her heart race.
Oh, and rights lost via [Persuasion] never returned, even if hypnosis broke. From now on, City Lord Renoa would be naked by default—lifetime nude without permission from King Gaon or Lete.
"Work like that till quitting time. Play with us later—no overtime tonight."
"I've hypnotized the female staff only on this floor. No need to worry about men seeing you, City Lord Renoa."
So Renoa handled her remaining duties naked, as ordered. Naturally, Lete and Reisi toyed with her erogenous zones nonstop during work. At home, the torment continued—her yin energy sucked dry.
Under hypnosis, Renoa never questioned her life. Just Lete's plaything, teased daily, surrendering city rights bit by bit in negotiations.
Sunset brought Noa Florence and the group back—minus Mea. The two besides her gawked at the changed base.
At first, they thought they'd come to the wrong place, but something insisted this was their outpost.
"...What the hell happened...?"
Before stunned Holy Knight Noa stretched a proper village. Fresh buildings screamed their purposes. The lumpy ground was still dirt but packed flat. The outpost building loomed as ever.
But the real shocker? People milling about the streets!
King Gaon's base had no humans besides him. Lete was demon; citizens were orcs. Maybe the new succubi.
But humans—neither demon, orc, nor succubus—roamed the streets. In the poison-choked heart of the Bewitching Forest.
"H-Hey, you there!"
She grabbed a passerby, asked where they came from, if they knew the place.
Villagers repeated it endlessly. Rephrase the question? Same response. A chill hit Noa midway; she gave up pressing.
