S-Class Hunter VS A-Class Hunter
The inside was surprisingly… quiet. With most of the people gone, only a handful remained, seated at desks and sorting through paperwork.
And there I sat in a chair, listening to two women in utterly deranged outfits glare at each other while they argued.
The more I listened, the more I thought… is this for real?
“Men are already scarce as it is. I don’t know where you picked him up, but bringing in an unidentified male? You must realize how dangerously reckless that was.”
“W-well, that’s true, but…”
Suyeon shrank into herself, head hanging low as she was thoroughly scolded by the woman in front of her.
Still, the fact that only these two were dressed like absolute perverts suggested they weren’t simply deviants. Everyone else wore practical black clothing that covered them from neck to toe.
It must be the standard uniform for hunters. They really went into dungeons dressed like lunatics. I nearly laughed out loud at the absurdity, yet these women were only worried about other things.
“This time you managed to stop the descent ritual before the dungeon could multiply, but you know what happens if it fails.”
“Y-yes…”
Descent ritual and dungeon—I could more or less follow that.
The descent ritual was the act of summoning gods, angels, demons, or monsters from another realm into a human body. Having once been a Calamity God myself, I knew it well. I had witnessed several attempts firsthand.
Of course, I had simply ignored them all because they would only make things more annoying for me.
When a descent was attempted, the full power of the god, monster, or demon would leak into reality, eroding and twisting the space around it. Those corrupted zones were what people called dungeons.
In reality, I had only pretended to perform a descent. I created three puppets and staged the whole thing to draw in a crowd… but to these women, it apparently looked very different.
“Sigh… Since it ended safely this time, I’ll let it go. But a man? That’s a problem. Men are already so hard to find these days, and now a cute one like this suddenly appears…”
She turned her head and pressed a hand to her forehead, looking genuinely stressed. Maybe I should let her touch my tail later?
Well, I could manage at least that much!
Listening to them, it seemed this world was suffering from a severe male shortage. That explained why my appearance had sent them into such a panic. No wonder the streets were nothing but women. Whatever had happened, it must have been catastrophic if men had become this rare.
Hmm… Well, I could look into it later. No need to dig too deeply right now. Besides, this entire world was brand new to me. I wanted to enjoy it properly.
“He’s not just any man. As you can see, I rescued him in the middle of a descent ritual.”
At the words “descent ritual,” the woman who appeared to be her superior let out a small sigh. She looked at the flustered Suyeon and squeezed her eyes shut, as if the situation gave her an unbearable headache.
“At least that’s fortunate. In a time when men are already so scarce, a successful descent would have cost us another perfectly good man. Those adorable ears and tail… are they a side effect of the ritual? It makes me a little uneasy…”
“There are still traces of the descent, but his mind seems intact. However… how should I put this…”
“How should you put it?”
“Well… it seems his memories aren’t completely whole.”
“What?”
Memories? What nonsense was this? I stared at them blankly, utterly dumbfounded, as the two women began spinning their own wild story.
“So… his name is Dalgi. He didn’t even know what a car was. He had no idea how to use a smartphone, either. He kept staring at the city in wonder, like he was seeing it for the first time.”
“That’s impossible. Did his memories completely vanish?”
“He didn’t even recognize a motorcycle. He didn’t know where my house was. I suspect an Outer God may have possessed him because the descent ritual was incomplete.”
“Hmm…”
“Since the possession was imperfect, some of his sanity remains.”
Um… excuse me? Sorry, but there’s no Outer God possessing me. The real deal is sitting right in front of you.
Of course, I had zero intention of correcting them. After all, I had come to this world to enjoy women. If they wanted to fantasize on their own, that was perfect for me.
Humming softly, I looked around with an innocent expression and began lightly swinging my legs. At the same time, I subtly swished my tail. The effect was immediate. Both women lost focus, their eyes glued to me as they swallowed hard.
My cute act was clearly working like a charm.
Isn’t this too easy? Just acting adorable and they can’t think straight.
“Noona? I’m okay, right?”
I asked in a slightly anxious voice, just to be safe. It would be troublesome if they suddenly decided to ship me off somewhere strange.
If they started talking about suspicious altars or some exorcism ritual, it wouldn’t affect me at all, but it would be annoying. In that case, I was fully prepared to eliminate them and flee. I came here to enjoy women, not to be captured and subjected to weird ceremonies.
When I looked up at them and tilted my head cutely, both women let out a strange “Huu—” sound and bowed their heads.
The faint trembling in their breathing was no illusion. These women were definitely targeting me.
I couldn’t help cheering inside.
While I laughed inwardly and tried not to show it, she eventually met my eyes. Then, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, she spouted complete nonsense.
“We can’t send him outside like this. So… one of us should take responsibility for him, don’t you think?”
“What? Senior?”
Her long, lustrous silver hair cascaded down her back. Without any attempt to cover her voluptuous figure, she turned to me and introduced herself.
“Your name is Dalgi, right?”
“Ah, yes…”
“I’m Yura. Han Yura. I’m an S-class hunter and the senior and friend of Suyeon, the A-class hunter who saved you.”
“I see. But what exactly are you trying to tell me?”
“Sigh… I’ll explain your current situation.”
Situation? I wasn’t sure if she thought I was an idiot or if this was meant to be considerate, but Yura neatly summarized things for me.
“I looked up your name, but there were no records of any missing orphan named Dalgi. That means… you’re not in a normal state right now.”
She wore a serious expression, yet she couldn’t hide the subtle lust in her eyes. I twitched my ears and pretended to listen earnestly, but inside I was laughing.
Anyone could see she was after me. Trying to lure me with that kind of talk was actually pretty shameless.
“We can’t let Dalgi go outside right now. His condition isn’t good because of the descent’s influence. There’s a very wicked god inside you. We don’t know what might happen if it goes wrong, so! This noona will take care of you.”
“What? Senior?”
Huh?
She jumped straight to the main point?
For a moment I was so stunned I froze. Meanwhile, the silver-haired woman spread her arms invitingly, tilted her head seductively, and spoke to me.

“Come stay at my house until you recover your memories and stabilize your body. Even if the god inside you runs wild, I should be able to buy enough time to handle it.”
My mouth was itching to speak. What stood before her wasn’t some descent—it was the actual Calamity God pretending to know nothing, and she had no idea. What an absolute fool.
“So, won’t you come with noona? Noona may not look it, but I’m an S-class hunter. I make a ton of money! At the very least, you’ll never go hungry.”
She dove straight into the main point with this blatant temptation. While I sat there stiff with slight bewilderment, something soft pressed against my back.
“No, senior! I brought him first! Dalgi is going to live at my house!”
“Wouldn’t an S-class hunter be better than an A-class hunter like you?”
“They’re both hunters anyway! There’s only a small difference between us!”
“Are you really saying that right now?”
Oh? Was this actually serious? Hearing them claim they were basically the same made them start growling and glaring at each other.
More accurately, Yura was the one glaring at Suyeon.
“Ah, ugh… I-I’m sorry, senior.”
“That was far too much to say to your superior. You should watch your words.”
After delivering the light rebuke, she subtly reached a hand toward me.
For some reason, a mischievous impulse flared up. Maybe I should tease her a little.
“Eek… N-no.”
“Huh?”
I brushed away Yura’s hand as it tried to take mine. Then I buried my face into the soft chest of Suyeon, who was hugging me from behind.
“I… I like Suyeon noona. That noona is a bit scary…”
I spoke in a faintly trembling voice and nestled deeper into her embrace. Yura’s expression—stiff, staring blankly into space—was one of pure shock and dismay.
“Hehe…!”
Meanwhile, Suyeon pulled me tightly against her with a very triumphant smile.
She looked like she was declaring victory, while Yura continued to glare at her.
It was truly a ridiculous sight.
