In the end, I'd blown up even my newly acquired Guardian Angel.
I wrapped the stream on a bit of a downer, slept through the night, and woke up to chaos.
"What the hell is this."
The whole world had lost its mind over me. Guess detonating every last S-rank magic stone had been that entertaining.
"Figured it'd blow up."
Sure, most of the official press and news outlets were tearing into me, but…

The feed switched, and instead of my vacant face, the inside of the Tower filled the screen. Mitsu stood ramrod straight, staring into the drone.
She'd already changed back into her usual clothes.

Right as the chat started raining jeers on me—

The sealed door ground open, and the gatekeeper of hard mode floor 1 stepped out.
What came through the door was a Death Knight with a hollow, empty head.
It was a grotesque sight — severed head clamped under its left arm, right hand dragging a massive greatsword that gouged the floor as it came.
While the viewers collectively freaked out, I was sprawled on my bed eating snacks.
"I'm worrying a lot, okay?"
About Mitsu steamrolling so hard the stream would die instantly, that is.
"Just stick to the tactics I taught you!"

Truthfully the entire "tactics" package had been "go fight," but whatever.
The opponent was a named gatekeeper. A monster no living hunter had ever managed to take down.

The moment her blade cleared the sheath, the pressure rolling off Mitsu's body crushed down on the Death Knight like a weight. The blue flames guttering in its empty throat flickered on the edge of snuffing out as it tried to lift its greatsword.
On pure instinct, it had realized the thing standing in front of it was a predator completely outside its weight class.
"Her Highness commanded me to fight every single moment."
Mitsu prioritizes her lord's command and rejects chivalry.

Mitsu kicked off the floor and launched, and the drone I was piloting jerked hard enough to rattle the whole feed.

A clear, ringing note — and the instant Mitsu slid her katana home into its sheath—

The Death Knight's massive frame, still standing stock-still, gave a violent shudder. Crimson blade trails burst outward in every direction as its armor started splitting apart piece by piece.
The fight lasted all of five seconds.
The hard mode floor 1 boss that had massacred the World Alliance Expedition collapsed without ever getting off a proper swing of its greatsword.
Once the Death Knight had fully toppled, Mitsu casually scooped up the helmet that had tumbled limp from under its arm.
"I present the head of one who dared oppose Her Highness."
Just like that, she dropped to one knee facing me through the drone.
"I went forth and fought as Her Highness commanded."
"Nice work, Mitsu. I'm bringing the drone down — catch it for me!"
"I obey Her Highness's command."
Mitsu bonked the Death Knight's head once for good measure and snagged the slowly descending drone out of the air.
All the hate aimed at me got buried under Mitsu's unintentional fanservice shot.
"Alright, that's it for today's hard mode floor 1 clear! Everyone got the strategy down cold, right?"
"See you all next stream! Bye!"
